      We moved in to the ****** ******************************* community in January 2021, a new development and were promised completion of the ****funded amenities by spring 2021. This project has been delayed due to DR *********************** negligence and incompetence with city permits, funding and basic building management. All the while they continue to collect full *************** under penalty. This is ridiculous and must stop. Deliver our FUNDED amenity center, DR ***********************

      I am rejecting this response because: this  has been the canned response since April, no update or progress has been made since early 2022. The current job site is an eyesore and a liability and affecting the value of our home.

      I am rejecting this response because: it is the same canned response from the last four months and the residents need an update on this guaranteed service and none has been provided and no progress made overall in 2022. I will continue to reject old responses until this matter is resolved and the residents are updated properly and provided a venue in which to discuss with DR *******************************************************************************************

      We went under contract for a home in March 2021 with the understanding from D.R ********************** sales that the amenity center would be complete by late Summer of 2021.It is now late summer 2022 and the amenity center to include a pool, playground, sports court, splash pad, and field is no where near completion. We just received word that D.R ********************** "fired" the contractor delaying the project even further. However, we heard from the contractor that D.R ********************** was not paying them on time as described in their contract.While in contact with the government of ******, specifically the mayor and councilman of the district, I also discovered D.R ********************** was lying about being delayed by permits from the city. They had failed to provide the proper permit paperwork and fees to continue their work. This was back in fall of 2021, which was supposedly resolved.D.R ********************** has continuously lied to the residents of ***** Creek about the amenity center while they have pumped out hundreds of new homes for sale in the interim.The amenity center could be finished in 3 weeks with the proper attention and motivation, I intend to bring light to this.In addition, the ********* of ***** Creek demands reparations for D.R. Horton's lies and mistreatment. I recommend a sum of $100k entered into the ***** Creek HOA operating budget (not reserve) to make up for the operating funds they were budgeted to...and should have been paying for... to maintain the amenity center over the last 2 years. These funds will be voted on by the residents for future projects.It is an absolute travesty that the initial residents of this ********* were swindled and grifted by the sales team and the builder into believing the amenity center would be ready in spring 2021, summer 2022, and now delayed indefinitely.We (a strong quorum of residents) have been in contact with legal counsel who have been advised the ****** amnesty" period for builders is over.

      The amenity center is developed by DR ********************** then handed to a General Contracting (GC) Company for the site construction, buildings and infrastructure. Unfortunately, the original GC for the ****** Creek amenity center did not deliver on its commitment to DR ********************** and our homeowners. We are now working with a new GC to complete the ****** Creek amenity center and are reviewing the details and complexities involved in todays commercial construction.  We do not currently have a defined completion date but assure you that we are working to complete the amenity center as soon as possible.

      Our amenities center is still not built when we were told it would be completed by now. None of us agreed to pay the *** fees for no amenity center, its a waste of our money

      Bought a house in a DR ********************** neighborhood with the expectation and promise of full amenities of a pool, splash pad, gym, playground and sports court by Spring 2021. The *** for this neighborhood with those promised amenities is $1200! It is now Ending Summer of 2022 and we still have ZERO amenities but yet we still have to pay our dues. Very expensive dues and all we get told by Dr ********************** is we have no information .. they have pushed the date of everything being built and opened every couple months of questioning. They blamed the city of cibolo at first saying they were holding permits, but we contacted the city and that was false and dr ********************** dropped the ball. There was a amenities company hired and they started construction on the pool and club and then it halted because come to find out Dr ********************** was not paying said company. We got the information directly from the construction manager. Now DrHorton is trying to find another company to build amenities and yet months and months go by and nothing. We should NOT pay any *** fees after being lied to and no progress of any amenities in the future. They are trying to appease homeowners with mediocre events wasting our money because they are not being honest and not getting the job done!! They need to halt our fees because there is no reason we have the highest *** fees in our city and absolutely nothing but weeds and debris for amenities.

      I am rejecting this response because: Dr *********************** response does not have any resolution to the problems listed. We have been faced with the issue of dishonesty and not actively getting the job done since 2021! We should have our HOA fee diminished until we have amenities to care for.  There is no excuse to be able to get houses built in such a short time but not able to get the amenities built and running while residents fork over so much money!

      We moved into our home in ****** Creek in Dec. 2020. When we purchased our home, we were told we would have lots of amenities including a pool, gym, playground, running trail, etc. Even given beautiful ****************** detailing the amenities areas. The amenities were to be done by Spring 2021. The builder, DR ********************** has not provided ANY of these amenities, not one. The ************** center has been in the process of being built for years. Multiple contractors have been hired to build our amenities & have quit. When pressed, the builder used excuses like shortage of supplies & workers, & at one point, even blamed the city of Cibolo for not giving them the permits. Upon investigating & speaking with the city, we found out DR ********************** hasnt been paying their permit fees or contractors. Many from our community have spoken to management & the powers that be several times. Our community has made multiple attempts to get clarification on why the amenities are not being built from them. To silence our attempts for answers & resolve, they have our lifestyle director hosting small water play events for us. These events are aimed toward families with young kids & are not inclusive to the diversity in our community. Not to mention they in no way make up for the lack of amenities or lies we are being told. No one is holding DR ********************** accountable for their dishonesty. They continue to build house on top of house, but cant be bothered to provide our community with the amenities promised or legitimate answers. Our community does not have the resources to be in court for years to resolve this ************ know this, so they continue to ignore us. It is wrong to advertise & sell homes to us with the promise of all these wonderful amenities & not deliver. Many of our community are active duty military or retired military & do not deserve to be treated this way. No one deserves to be misled about their **************** especially those who serve & defend our country!
