Bought a home in ********* with a leased system that was already installed ten years ago. Duration of the lease is for another 10 years. (20 year lease). The cost of electricity produced by the ** system is about 30% more than it would cost me to buy it from the ** Energy company. I must buy all the electricity from Tesla that the panels produce at this higher rate. A negative benefit. Also had to fix my leaking roof due to the panels when they were installed ten years ago. Called Tesla and they wont reduce the rate to even match the ** Energy company. All they will do is offer to sell me the system. This is the worst deal anyone can ever make. Essentially have panels on my roof that only benefits Tesla Energy. I get to pay 30% more for my electricity plus I paid $2000 to have my roof fixed. Unbelievable!!!!!!

I was sold into a new lease of a 26 Tesla M Y when I had a 22 Model Y, lease ending on 9/21/25. I was told that when I make my June payment that the last 2 payments would be waved and my order would go in and the new vehicle would be available for pickup on 7/21/25. I made the payment and was told that the new vehicle was in and needed to be picked up within 3 days or I would lose my deposit. With that I would need to turn in my 2022 Tesla Model Y, which would not even be 30 days of use which was paid for. And now I would need to arrange an inspection of the 2022 vehicle. I felt rushed and then I needed to perform the inspection virtually because no inspectors were available. I was then sent a bill for replacement of wheels and removal of window tint, $3,586.00 for 4 replacement wheels, $564.00 for removal of window tint. To remove the window tint I would be able to for $100.00 - $150.00. I wasn't given the opportunity to correct "so-called" issues because I was not given the breakdown of repairs because I did not receive the invoice of the charges until after my appointment to return the vehicle had taken place and was told that was final, when I submitted the photos or the vehicle afterwards with the wheel covers removed, and I still could not reach a "Live Person" to go over the issues and give me an opportunity to correct at a more reasonable cost, and that I would not have gone past my lease expiration date. I just received a message stating that I owed $1,340.09 with no invoice of what those charges are and that I am unable to have them corrected, myself. Aside from being rushed into taking delivery weeks prior to stated date, turning my perfect 22 Tesla M Y almost 3 months before lease, not being able to insure the current new vehicle, due to not being able to speak to a live person and being on hold for over 2 hours multiple times, not being able to speak to anyone live to change out the 22 to the 26 vehicle, this has been a nightmare that is going nowhere.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at your Duluth Tesla *************** Unfortunately, this experience has been one of the most disappointing interactions Ive ever had with any service department, WORSE THAN MY **************** let alone Tesla, a brand known for innovation and customer experience. When I arrived at the service center, I noticed that multiple service technicians were idle, sitting around and not actively calling the next customers. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I was made to wait unnecessarily with no communication or updates. It felt as if customer time and experience were not a priority at all. I made it very clear to the service representative that I had to be at work and was on a tight schedule, yet this was completely ************** make matters worse, I was not given any guidance or information about what was required to receive my loaner vehicle. No one explained what documents I needed or what the process would be, causing even more delays and confusion. This lack of professionalism and care has made me question the commitment Tesla has toward its customers after the purchase is made. I truly believe this experience reflects poorly on the brand and is not what Tesla owners expector deserve.

Want to know what a nightmare is like? Buy a Tesla and then try to service it. That's all you need to know. The main goal is to SELL, and what happens next doesn't matter to anyone. Whether the client is satisfied with the product and service, whether he will come back for a new car, that doesn't matter to anyone. If you want a real experience with real car manufacturers, buy a car from a proven brand with a reputation. If you want to play the lottery, buy a car from startups like Tesla.

Ive had a very frustrating experience with Tesla regarding the Full Self-Driving (FSD) subscription. I was informed that I only needed to replace the computer in my vehicle to become eligible for FSD. Based on that guidance, I paid $1,060 to have the computer replaced. However, after the replacement, the system didnt work. I was told to drive over 100 miles to allow the system to calibrate. I did that, but it still didnt function. Then I was advised to continue driving for over a week, as multiple systems needed calibration. I followed that advice and drove for two weeks, but the issue ***************, I visited a Tesla service center where their top technician diagnosed the vehicle. It was only then that I was informed the car does not have the Autopilot feature at all. I was told I would need to pay an additional $3,000 to enable ********* before I could subscribe to FSD at $99/month.This was never communicated to me at the outset. I feel misled and requested a refund for the $1,060 I paid for the computer replacement, but my request was denied. Could you please help resolve this fairly?

Tesla ********************** I had made an appointment for myself in advance, ***** ***** on a grey Tesla model Y 2023 June 3rd at 9 am in the app but they had deleted it from their side after I left. I have the email that I signed to consent for their service from that day and that time to back it up though.Avoid this place at all costs. They lost my tools, denied responsibility, and were openly hostile when I followed up.I brought my Tesla in for paint buffing and air filter installation, along with my own filter and tools in a labeled box. After the service, I realized the box was missing. When I called, they casually admitted they threw it away and kept my toolswithout notifying me at any point. When I returned, the same employee who I spoke with on the phone refused to speak to me and acted annoyed. I was given back only one of the two tools, and the most important one was never returned. The manager argued with me, denied what theyd said on the phone, and claimed I must have lost it myselfthen told me he was protecting his people.Initially, I approached the situation calmly and made it clear I wasnt looking to place blameI simply wanted my property returned. I even stated that I didnt want anyone to get in trouble. However, despite my respectful and reasonable approach, the manager responded with open hostility and defensiveness. On top of that, one of the areas I specifically requested to be buffed was ignored, and no one mentioned it. No apology. No accountability. Just excuses, deflection, and disrespect. This is one of the only Tesla-certified collision centers in the Midwest, but that doesnt give them the right to treat customers this way. If you value your property and expect even basic professionalism, take your business elsewhere.Given the complete lack of accountability, I will now be taking the extra step to report this incident to the Better Business Bureau. When responsibility is avoided, escalation becomes necessary.

I am filing a formal consumer complaint against Tesla Energy Solar related to a solar panel re-installation attempt at my home that began on October 31, 2024. During this installation, Teslas crew caused physical damage to my roof and gutter, misrepresented evidence, and has failed to resolve the issue despite six months of ongoing communication.Shortly after beginning the reinstallation, Teslas installer informed me that the plywood decking under my roof was separating from the beams. However, by that point, the crew had already drilled into the roof, compromising its structural integrity. Tesla admitted to the damage and temporarily sealed the area. In addition, the upper gutter was bent and no longer functions properly. Despite multiple escalations, including to Teslas field supervisor ****** ***** and later to ****** ***** and ***** ******** of the Energy Resolutions team, the company has failed to provide clear answers, take full accountability, or resolve the matter.Critically, Tesla submitted photos of a detached garage structurewhich had no relevance to the main home or installation siteas justification for their internal decisions regarding the attic decking. This misleading documentation is deeply concerning and further erodes trust. We were required to submit our own photos, and Tesla refused to send someone to inspect the damage unless we paid out-of-pocket. Tesla originally claimed our roof lacked sheathing, then reversed that position when shown photographic evidence, only to later claim the sheathing was substandard. Despite a professional roofing contractor explaining the damage in a conference call, Tesla has failed to provide a clear scope of repairs or accept full financial responsibility.

Early Tesla adapter here, been driving Tesla since 2019. I know I have negative equality in my trade in so I called them and ask them run some lease numbers on the 2025 Tesla Model Y, and the sales *** told me I need to place $250 order fee to look at the number and if the numbers does not work, I can cancel it and get a refund. Next thing I know, run through bunch of the to do list items, they told me I need $20000 down payment. I was not mad and upset, I just told them that probably would not work nor do I have the money. so I got a hold of them and they told me the fee is Un refundable unless its denial. I am not sure what to think here, does anybody willing to put 20k down payment on a lease car? Am I missing something here? Of course since then they don't return my massages anymore, nobody will do a thing now. I will not be buying Tesla again, please be aware if they tell you to place order, don't do it til you are 100% sure you are buying or they will just take your money and tell you you can get a refund which you can't.
