      I recently had my Tesla brought in for a crack in the rear windshield. The crack was an internal crack as there was no impact point or other visible/tactile damage which would indicate a cause. The manager, without conducting any form of review or evidence, stated that my tints caused the crack and the window would not be covered under a manufacturing defect warranty. The rear window cracking due to manufacturing defects is a known issue with my early model and for the manager to provide zero proof or justification aside from their opinion is unacceptable. Further, Telsa provides no direct and obvious point of contact on their app or webpage.

      Solar Panel Project in Shambles It is been very frustrating & very awful experience with Tesla Solar on my solar project which is in shambles, due to poorly managed, slackness & several blunders committed by Tesla Solar back office. I had made and have been making several attempts via portal chats, emails, phone calls and SMS to get the status & the attention needed for the project to be on track. Unfortunately, my effort and follow-*** went in vain due to no accountability of Tesla Solar. Numerous times, yes, let me please repeat numerous times I had requested that my project be escalated and/or provide me with the Escalation Manager contact details. The Tesla Solar back office avoided and was very successful in NOT providing me the path to escalation. I was told that my project has been escalated, if this was the case, my project would have been on track and wouldnt have been drafting this unpleasant email.As of date 109 days has passed with no line of sight due to poorly managed, slackness & several blunders committed by Tesla Solar which has passed the 90 days SLA promised by Tesla Solar for the **** My ROI is 0$ for a FULLY PAID solar system

      Telsa was very communicative during the installation of our solar system. The installation seemed to be going flawlessly until we were waiting for PG&E approval. For some reason Tesla sent technicians on site twice even though the system wasn't turned on. They didn't say why they were coming out. I assume they detected system errors and attempted to fix the problem. After the system was certified by our town and PG&E the system worked fine for about 6 weeks. The system stopped generating power so I called support. At that time Tesla attempted to troubleshoot the problem remotely but said they needed to send a technician.We waited about 3 weeks for our service call then Tesla cancelled the service call and said they didn't have any technicians available in our area. We live in the ****************** so it was hard to believe they didn't have any technicians.They rescheduled our service call and we waited 4 more weeks. Today they canceled the appointment again and said they hope to hire new technicians by September because all of them quit. Our system worked for 6 weeks and has been dead for 7 weeks. We have no idea if/when they will ever fix our system.NEVER USE TESLA SOLAR!

      I was in the process of gathering information on going with Tesla as my solar provider. Everything is handled online. I paid the ******, filled out the forms and requested additional information on the financing options. Instead of getting any info I kept getting prompts to accept the design. I waited a few days and didnt notice any correspondence. I received multiple text messages prompting me to move forward with the process. I called several times only to get sent straight to voicemail. I sat on hold for extended periods of time. So after a day or two I accepted the design. Only to find out the ****** was now non refundable. Theres only one option to finance (10 year) which put the system out of my price range. Long story short I paid ****** and never received and in home assessment. I asked to speak to a manager and was told by the representative that they would pass the message. But the manager/supervisor might not contact me back because no refund is the policy. Additionally, the representatives dont have all of the answers to your technical questions. If you choose Tesla, be sure to have all of your questions answered in writing prior to moving forward with their process or you to can be out ******.

      Poor customer service solar system production *******% after only two week it's only produce on non peek hours at a rate of .1 to 3.3 KW system is 9.6 KW last three days only produce 50kwh when system was working I was producing 50+kwh in a single day,they can't give you a time frame on when issues can be fixed they just pass you around to different departments

      **************** is next to non-existent. One of my two (leased) inverters has been off for two months. I've had two scheduled appointments both of which were cancelled the day of the appointment; both of which I was not informed; both of which because Tesla sent the part to the wrong warehouse. They've wasted two days of my time. On-line chat does not seem to work. ************* Agents can do nothing and are sometimes misinformed. I've requested a Manager to call me which has been noted but no calls. No resolution. The inverter is still broken and I am still paying the full lease. Other review sites show similar issues.

      Had Solar City Panels installed before Tesla acquired them. Needed roof replaced due to very bad installation (this can be backed up by professional roofing company), occurred external and internal water damage while Tesla took months to schedule removal and reinstallation. This started in 12/2019. Tesla didn't acknowledge me until I took myself off auto-payment. I emailed them all information they asked for and still months of no contact. December of 12/21, I had roofing company remove panels and installed new roof at an approximate cost $14,000.00. There is no way that I am going to have the panels re-installed. Tesla wants me to pay the contract balance. I need help.

      Teslas solar project management team is in disarray, theyre incapable of completing simple PTO paperwork for months. We were left in the dark for weeks on end, ghosted by Tesla dedicated "project advisors," sent in dizzying circles around Tesla's online and phone complaint systems, Still we are not able to find current status and attempts to cancel are ignored. Recommend that you look elsewhere for solar purchase.
