i shop a lot at whole foods and also generally work there while getting coffee/prepared food. My local whole foods at ************** without real warning put in a system that automatically tickets people by the picture if they spend a certain amount of time there. I could understand if the parking lot were full but it is a big parking lot and I have never seen it full ( i am there a lot). I never saw the signs and was only 7 minutes over but they ticketed me (which I didn't know until later cause iti s not a paper ticket) and they whole foods refused to help. The charge is absurd. $90, which is insane. Besides for the fact that this discourages people from using whole foods for any lengh of time, it also means I can never go there again beacause no way I am paying that ticket (so they will tow or boot my car now). It is also a bad look for whole foods and makes whole foods seem like a predatory organization trying to squeeze every cent out of customers through fines. I certainly lost a lot of respect for whole foods.I have used whole foods a lot and never seen a whole foods or really any grocery store for that matter do something like this. It is absurd and a terrible way to increase revenue. I will never shop at this store again (I cant park there now anyway) and probably will stop using whole foods at all since that is the only one in that area where I am working.Business Response

I buy the prepared food in Wholefoods practically every evening. By the evening, the selection is barely there but I manage to choose from what's there. Last night I purchased 2 pieces of salmon @25.99 a pound. The salmon was cold and dry. I asked the wirker, before he packed it, if it was fresh. He said yes!. Needless to say, it was awful and dry. I very annoyed. Im constantly giving Wholefoods my money with a small chance of getting food worth eating. Their lackluster attitude id ruining the Wholefoods reputation.Business Response

I went into store and purchased a salad. The salad had quality issues and was not fresh so I could not consume it. I reached out to Wholes food and they informed me that I could not be reimbursed due to my payment method being EBT Snap benefits.Business Response

Deceptive pricing/sales - Received a sales email for my WF region: Pikes Peak. Followed the link to weekly sales and saw that Pine Manor Whole Chicken was on sale. Went to Whole Foods on the Amazon website that is linked to ***************** and the sales price is not reflected when adding it to my cart - that means it is NOT on sale at that store. This is not the first time that this has happened. Thought it was my fault the past couple of times, but this time I made sure all my settings were correctly set to *****************. On June 2, 2023 around 10:30 am, I went to Whole Foods in ********* to purchase a few items. When I went to check out, I noticed the price I was charged for rice milk (photo included) seemed higher than the posted price (photo also included). To make certain that I was overcharged, I immediately went to the aisle where the rice milk was stocked and my suspicion was confirmed, so I took a photo. I then went to the customer service desk where I was greeted by an elderly darker skinned gentleman (I didnt catch his name but the store manager must have records who was working the service desk on that day and at that time). I explained the overcharging issue and showed him the photo I just took. He said he couldnt take my picture as proof and needed to see for himself. We walked over to the rice milk aisle together, and when he saw for himself what I saw, he immediately ripped down 3 or 4 tags, all with different prices, scanned each one, all of which scanned at the higher $5.29 price. He then accused me of putting all the price signs up to cheat the store. I was appalled. Then he said $5.29 is the price, take it or return it. So I had no choice but to return it. When I got home I noticed he wrote as the reason for return as customer changed mind. In my opinion, the real reason for return is price was incorrect and customer service agent blames customer of sign fixing. I then called the global Whole Foods customer service phone line to lodge a complaint. At the end of the call, she asked for an email address. I asked her why and she said so that they can let me know what was being done. So far no response. This incident still bothers me weeks later so I am writing to you today. I feel this worker shouldnt be interacting with customers, since he has very poor people skills. Plus businesses must be accurate in charging for goods and services. Does a lawsuit like PetSmart have to occur for all people to be treated fairly?Business Response

I was wondering how do I go about receiving my refunds for the recalled strawberries I purchased dating back to February 2023. I probably have more than 20 seperate purchases as I buy these strawberries at least once a week. Every SINGLE time I return Amazon packages at whole foods ******************************************* ***** , after 730pm .... First there are no people there they leave at 5pm...... SECOND their self return box is ALWAYS FULL after the attendant leaves at 5pm... and they force you to return to whole foods, otherwise they charge for returns to ***Business Response
