      My doctor was shocked when she learned how much we paid for the test. I have had 3 super long phone calls with repeated promises of a refund (cash pay is cheaper than using insurance) to no avail. Very disappointed in the shameful billing practices and even more in the lack of customer service and accountability. If not resolved, I plan to dispute the credit card charge.

      I have serious concerns that this companyparticularly its billing departmentis operating unethically, if not fraudulently. We were just billed over $800 in June 2025 for a service performed in September 2023, nearly 21 months later. Seriously? This kind of behavior makes me question the reliability of the test results we received. I believe this company should be investigated, and if wrongdoing is confirmed, appropriate legal action should be taken to hold them accountable and ensure restitution for the many expectant mothers who have been scammed.

      Im writing to express my frustration regarding an incorrect billing experience with Natera. I was charged by Natera even though these services were supposed to be fully covered by my insurance.I paid the charges unknowingly, only to find out later from my insurance provider that I should not owe anything for these tests in fact, I was told I should not have received a bill from Natera at all.Despite following up, Ive yet to receive a resolution or refund. This experience has been frustrating and time-consuming. I'm sharing this review in hopes that Natera will take accountability, improve their billing processes, and resolve these issues promptly for others in the future.

      This company billed my insurance twice for genetic testing for my baby. They are robbing the insurance companies and patients, I was informed by one of their agents if I had paid cash without using my insurance I would have paid about $300 in total for my test. However, they billed my insurance company for Horizon and Panorama test for a total of $4,899 and $10,505 respectively. This company has multiple lawsuits in other states due to their fraudulent billing practices. They should not be allowed to bill insurance companies for those amounts for blood work that can be easily afforded at a cash price. This company should be shut down and fined for all their fraudulent practices against insurance companies and patients.

      Natera's billing process is so opaque and misleading, that I think it should be classified as fraudelent.I paid Natera directly for a NIPT test, but the test yielded no results due to Natera mishandling the sample (as confirmed by my provider). They requested that my provider give them a new sample and assured both myself and Natera that I would not be billed twice. The new sample was provided, and the test was run. However I have now been notified that my insurance was sent a claim for this second test. I have spent over 2 hours on the phone with Natera's billing support team today to have them revoke the request to my insurance, only to be told that nobody in Natera's billing support team is able to stop the claim process. I am not able to speak with anyone in the insurance team directly, and they can not provide me any confirmation that my charge will be revoked. Instead, I am to call back in 30 days...How this company is allowed to operate is completely beyond me. Please, BBB - review their fraudulent billing practices and sound the alarm. I will certainly be notifying my provider that they have chosen the wrong provider.

      I took a test in December of last year. A bill was provided and I thought I was done. Well, they charged my secondary insurance and for 3 months I have been working with bc customer service to get it changed - each time saying it will be done and its not. Now theyre trying to bill me for a ridiculous amount and can never seem to help and are even confused themselves. They cant provide a statement only the price of the bill.

      After a couple of mishaps with my ************* I received the results yesterday and I am finally relieved! What a great test. I have not had to deal with any billing, but I know that this test and my cancer (MCC) are covered by ********.

      The lab results were clear and easy to understand, which I appreciated. However, I was never notified when they were availableI had to log in manually to check for updates.The billing process was confusing. I received the Panorama test invoice promptly, but was surprised to receive a bill for the Horizon test a full 1.5 years later. The same notice stated that billing "can take many weeks or months," which felt contradictory given the significant delay. I hope I do not receive another unexpected bill. Unfortunately, I could have used my ************** Account for this expense, but that option is no longer available due to the delay spanning 2 tax years.

      If zero stars were an option that is what I would choose! I already paid my bill in January, and now Im getting another 500 dollar bill for the SAME thing I already paid?! Cant speak with anyone when you call just sits on hold for hours, states they will give you a call back and never hear anything. Worse company any doctors office could do business with.
