While dealing with my student loan company this company called me saying that they could help with loan forgiveness or consolidation of my student loans. They were paid $700 to lower my payments and to stop payments until Feb ****. My loan payments were resumed in January **** and my payment amount did not get lowered. My student loan company Advantage had no information on any agreement or a $700 payment. They did help me to figure things out, but I am out of $700 from this scammer company. My checking account discovered that Processing Direct LLC was the people who took my money. I have 2 contact numbers for them but the phones are always busy. I will be contacting the authorities about this company. They get minus zero stars from me.

I was contacted by this company claiming to be reaching out regarding my student loans. Was advised I qualified for a forgiveness program that would essentially cut my loans in half. They had all my contact and loan information. I was emailed documents to sign and everything seemed legit. I was told I'd have 5 payments at $220/month and after that it would be $27/month for the next 86 months and I could call to make payments to the principal amount to shorten that length. First payment processed (they even transferred me to their "billing department") and nothing reflected on my credit or StudentAid account and I was continuing to receive notices about my loans being in default. I call them to inquire and was informed it would take ***** days for everything to process over. I was also made an offer to cut the last 2 larger payments, if I wanted to make the next 2 early. I've dealt with creditors before and I know they're allowed certain settlement liberties so I didn't second guess it. Everything processed and I was told I'd be on the smaller payments and to expect the information to process on my credit and with StudentAid by 2/14/2024. After the call, something didn't sit right so I Googled the company. Everything that first appears is links to their site, and information about how they assist students. I really wish bbb ratings came up first so I could see their track records of scams. I tried to call the numbers for them, unreachable. I reached out to StudentAid and was informed it was not legit and to contact my bank. I have since disputed it with my bank and await resolution.

BEWARE.... Processing.Direct, LLC is a fraudulent business. They will pose as third-party facilitators for any form of debt or loan you have. They told me they assist with consolidating student loan debt and work on behalf of department of education for student loan forgiveness. Report this to your bank and request an investigation for transactions as well as a criminal investigation from your financial institution.

Received a call this morning from Processing Direct. They were going to process a new application so I could pay $220x5 and my loans would be forgiven (after 20 years) ******* told me his name was ********************. I know companies outsource their call centers and wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, however, when '******' started getting pushy about completeing this application over the phone and urging me to make my first payment of $220 I ended the call. I blocked the ******** number they were calling from and reported this incident on studentaid.gov. What was really freaking was that my studentaid.gov password was changed! I am changing all of my passwords.

I cant believe I fell for this scam either. I paid $700 towards what I thought was going directly to my student loans and I have not heard from them ever since. Im attempting to dispute the charges with my bank. I shouldve done my homework on them before I paid any money.

Scam! These people have no soul. They had enough of my information to make me believe them so I gave them even more information. They are stealing our money and identities.
