      Booked this hotel through hotels.com and choose the option to pay at the hotel. I arrived for check in at around 5:30pm and was given a room that was filthy. The bathroom had not been cleaned and had pee on the toilet and hairs all over the shower and sink. I requested a new room and that was was slightly a bit better so I checked in and left my things. I left for the evening to a commitment I had in that town. I returned almost at midnight to discover insects on the floor. At first they were small so I decided to just stay to sleep and leave first thing in the morning. At 1am I discovered the insects/bugs coming out from the furniture and walls were bigger and were climbing on the lamps and even on the bed. The room and bathroom were getting infested with them. I decided my son and I could not sleep in those conditions and called the front desk to request even a partial refund as I was going to be leaving at 1am because of the horrible horrible conditions. I ended up doing the 3 hour drive home at 1am and was treated extremely poorly by this hotel staff. They refuse to even give me a partial refund for all of this trouble. Even though I didn't use the room for the full stay. The services advertised were not the services provided. And the insects in the room is a health hazard for humans, especially small children.

      A partial refund? Do you know how much the 'partial refund' is for? For the horrible customer service from the hotel staff and for the horrible conditions of the hotel, both with the filthiness of the bathrooms and with the insects appearing from behind furniture, such as behind the bed, I would've hoped for a full refund or to at least hear from Motel 6 corporation customer service to discuss the partial refund further.

      I have contacted the business directly multiple times and have been met with extremely rude and poor customer service. I have not received even any type of empathy or understanding from them, let alone any willingness to provide me with a refund. If the matter was able to be resolved with them directly, I wouldn't have had to reach out through BBB. I have stayed at other Motel 6's in the past and have never experienced such a horrible experience or anything even remotely close to the conditions of their rooms.

      First of all I wanna start by saying I have been a loyal customer living at motel 6 for over 2 yrs, so my room was in a friend name which the stuff at motel 6 knows exactly who I am and so on yesterday on July 13,2022 the manager comes and tell me I have to leave or bring him my ID to the office which the entire time I been paying for the room everyday for the last 4 months. I said okay I'm go get my id because I gots to live here until I get a place to stay. I stop by the front office and let them know that I was about to go and get my id from the id place,, they said okay,,when I get back housekeeping went in my room and cleaned it out!! I had all my personal information in there with 3 hundred dollar bills inside my bible. I got to get my items my money is missing and 2 of my debit cards. On top of that My T.V. hasn't been working for over 3 weeks!!! Management still wanted me to pay $75 bucks a night. The manager is the most rudes person in the world. So as I go back to pay they cleaned my room out and by law they don't suppose to go in my room and my 3 hundred dollar was not in my bible!!! So the reason for him finding anything to make me leave is he want my room,the bottom floor rooms are much better than the 2,and 3 floor rooms. He keep asking me do I want to move to the second floor I said no. I wanted to stay on in the room I had. I was in room 115 for over 3 months so they know I wasn't leaving the property because I never said I was. I went an got a copy of my id and came back to somebody else in my room! Yes ant all my personal things was in a big bag in the office!! So I want to put a Complaint on Motel 6,oh and let me not forget the hotel phones don't work period. Can BBB please help me with this!!! I saw this man do plenty of ppl bad who was renting from him just because he was judging people and that's not right.

      I do not accept on behalf of my rights,the amount of business I have done with motel 6 Memphis,TN 38104 have been nothing more than business good business. stay a loyal customer there even after I got bitten by bedbugs before,a rat in my room and the past accident with me being without a tV for 3 weeks.Now I gave this place a little lead way by not calling BBB sooner,but every since the new manager came he is nothing but money hungry.The new owner has offered me money to sexual favors for him which I turned down and every since he has given me a problem.he say he is the owner,but won't give his name or boss name,very disrespectful and is just evil.I was in that room 115 for over 3 months he wanted me to go to the third floor where the nasty rooms are and wanted the room I was in for guests who was coming in from out of town!! So what is my money different because I'm from the city??on top of that he was the person to give me that room!!when I went to get my things he called me a prostitute like really I go to school. He always said something to me.I paid everyday,,on 1 occasion I paid 2 times in 1 day because he said I didn't buy I did I just paid it to shut him up and I have to live here.when I picked up my things I had lotions and oil all kinds of things on my clothes that I had to throw away because of his selfishness and I'm the 1 living in a hotel,,it's not fair at all.The best way I can describe his action and ways is to bring you back when Rosa Parks was made to give up her sit she paid for and that's how he made me feel.I would be satisfied if he would give me half of my cash back from 3 weeks without a tV and for my clothes and things!! Yes I want that because it's not fair at all.

      I rent a room for a little over two weeks. The front desk went into my room toom my dog home. They keep my deposit due to my room smelling like dog that they had at there home.My car had been parked the whole time no problem day after i check out my car is missing. I file a complaint no return calls. They not even tell me where and why my car was tooken.I want my car and deposit. got my dog back. Also the whole stay my room was never cleaned no room servic what so ever.
