      Terrible customer service. Our system became outdated and we scheduled at least 3 appointments for them to upgrade the system. No one ever showed up and they continued to bill us. They knew our system wasn't working but continued to bill us for protection we weren't receiving. This is fraud. Once I was able to navigate through the system it took a lengthy conversation on the phone before they would send be a cancelation form.

      Buyer beware! After over 5 yrs using this service- we called to cancel our service today and was told it would cost $1214 to do so. We have had Brinks Security since 7/2019 in our home. According to Brinks today, we "signed" a new contract 3/16/2022 which was apparently initiated via a email advertisement from them to us on 2/22/22. We did not authorize this and completely unaware it was done until today when we wanted to cancel. We definitely would not extend a service we had already had for 3 yrs into another contract for another 4 yrs. There was no need! We were paying the same amount in the mths leading up- there was no $ saved! We did not receive any equipment. We never knowingly "logged in" and approved this! I am assuming it occurred automatically when our next automatic mthly bill was due/paid but Brinks "customer service" stated they are "only able to see we logged into the system on 3/16/22 and approved it". Obviously from our response today- we were unaware this was done! Brinks "customer service" told me I "can get a lawyer if we want but that the contract is legally biding". Use caution if you use this service!

      Do not recommend Brinks Home Security to anyone! Bad customer service is only the tip of the iceberg. When signing up for the service we were lied to about the perks Brinks supplied. We need a senor serviced and were told that would be $225 for someone to come out and look at it. They locked us into a contract for 60 months under false claims the summer of 2023. The panel is extremely cheap and the alarm when sounded is not loud. The sound is comparable to a tone made by a landline telephone. Considering all the poor reviews, I would be willing to bet that as soon as people are able they will cancel service and this company will go bankrupt!

      Brinks is extremely expensive and locks customers with contract. The Brink App does not work properly and they charge ridiculous prices for outdated equipment. I am locked in the contract for 30 months and cannot switch.

      1/9/25 Brinks security has TERRIBLE customer Care!! They are wont connect you to supervisor! Brinks representative made financial error On my account( withdrawing unauthorized money from my ***** and Brinks penalized and harassed me.its been Two stressful months trying to straighten out error they created! And get money back..Worse decision I made choosing this company. Ive had nothing but stress dealing with Brinks!

      Added Brinks home security October 2023. ********. I was told they didn't have all the security add-ons i wanted. The continue to charge them to me. But was always told their district manager would contact me. Salesman ****** *******. In October 2024, I found out I had cancer. Had been receiving chemo and radiation. My condition worsened. I will be flown to M D ******** in *****. I have very little chance of survival. I called Brinks to disconnect my security system and the refused. They want my death certificate. There will be no one living at the house. Internet, land line phones, etc will be disconnected. There will be a minimal power charge. At present, I have no money. Receiving multiple phone calls from Brinks wanting me to hurry and send them my death certificate. Effective January 10, 2025 I will no longer be in this house. I don't know if I will ever return back. There is a possibility I can not survive. If I don't, maybe it can help someone else.

      Absolutely the most worthless company ever to have misfortune to having to do business with.1st they installed all my equipment wrong. As part of my system I had a water sensor put in my garage by washer and hot water heater. My washer flooded my garage and the sensor never went off.Brinks did not cover the cost of the repairs. Stated it was do to faulty installation and they were not liable.Cameras wouldn't record anything like when my dog was shot.Tried to cancel and they wanted to charge me a charge for early cancelation. Stay as far away from this company as you can June 21 2025 can't come soon enough The call center is unprofessional and rude

      I have been a Brinks customer for some time now and recently, during a home renovation, had to have alarm sensors removed to replace doors, windows, repaint, etc. I contacted Brinks via online Customer Support and eventually, after several days, actually got to talk to a person. They sent several new sensors out, no charge, but once installed, did not function correctly. This is when the true lack of customer support started. I re-contacted them and I made an appointment for a technician site visit. Two days before the service I received a text advising the technician was "sick" and that they would have to reschedule - several weeks later. The technician came out and installed the new sensors and everything seemed fine, until it wasn't. I recontacted Customer Support and had to make another service appointment. Once again, it was a couple weeks later and, once again, they called to postpone and reschedule the service. By this time, I had had enough. I called a new alarm company. They came right out, disconnected the Brinks hardware and installed their own. There was no phone call from Brinks advising the alarm hardware had been disconnected. I tried several times again, to no avail to actually talk with a "live" person but this time, it was all AI. I texted the only number available and wrote a letter, which I sent to the ******, ** office, advising I had cancelled my service subscription. I cancelled my online AutoPay and deleted my credit card information. Also, I left another online notification regarding my cancellation. There has been no personal contact nor response whatsoever, since their service was disconnected on 12/11/24 but, did I get an email on 12/31/24 reminding me that my payment was due on the 01/1025. This makes me wonder if I ever had home security from this company or was the entire time I made payments was nothing more than a scam? I will NEVER recommend them to anyone!

      This is one of the sourest company I ever seen have ragley equipment and will not try to fix it but always wanting their monthly pay take my advice see this company and keep moving

      Brinks Home Security Worst customer service I ever experienced. Not able to talk with anyone that would resolve my issue. Would not recommend them to anyone. **** H
