      First of all if I can give an accurate rating it would be a zero no star! My family and I have had the absolute WORST experience with Brinks honestly security specifically with alpha marketing my grandma signed up with them and things were fine at first and I told her I would take care of the bill shes a 73 year old lady and has no source of extra income so I thought I would help her out so I pay it for the first 3 months until I see they are charging me ***** a month when we agreed to ***** its on the original contract no fees no taxes a flat rate so I also get reduced hours at work and cannot afford that month to month including the late fees and other charges that are on that bill and I keep getting called by debt collectors they are harassing and spam calling my family who is on emergency contact and one of the **** who I know personally reach out to my aunt and is being very unprofessional with her then reaches out to me saying he can help me lower my bill and get all the late fees taken off its on a recorded line and I have message proof. I spoke to many **** but one rep named ****** reached out so I finally answered he also had told me he can help me take all late fees off and help me lower bill this company is embarrassing and horrible they are evil people who just want to take all your hard earned money I think the biggest mistake was ever even signing up with them my grandma is a senior citizen she doesnt know better and was promised different things and told different information from all these different **** i will not be giving not one more cent to this company. 0/10 to put the cherry on top of all this the family they keep bothering are going through hard ships right now many were affected by the Altadena fires and all they care to do is harass us again EVILLLL!!!! I would appreciate if someone can help me get out of this 5 year contract or get legal help thank you!

      These people just told me to get out of my contract I have to pay like $2000. Even though my equipment has never worked. I'm sure there was a termination period that I missed, but MY SERVICE HAS NOT WORKED UPON INSTALLATION FEB 20, 2025. I HAVE A TECH SCHEDULED ANOTHER WHOLE MONTH FROM NOW. IM GONNA SUE YOU UNPROFESSIONAL, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE HAVING PEONS. One supervisor told me I was gonna pay this bill rather my camera worked or not. She kept stressing the point of this going on my credit report. SO. THATS NOT YOUR BUSINESS. THIS BIHH LOOKED LIKED ME. SHE SHOULD HAVE REALLY BEEN MOTIVATED TO HELP. MY ATTORNEY WILL BE IN TOUCH. DONT TELL ME TO CALL IN EITHER. IM ALL TALKED OUT. I KNOW MY MOUTH IS TRASH, BUT SO IS YOUR SERVICE AND YOUR AGENTS. I HAD TO HANG UP ON ***, BECAUSE HIS PARENTS SHOULD HAVE HAD AN IEP DONE ON HIM AS A KID.... Attorney loading soon and I put that on Brinks home security

      Terrible business. Constant alarm issues. ******** customer service. **** kept creeping up. Can never speak to a supervisor. Canceled service right after paying the next month's bill. They sent me a letter saying I had a very small balance. I called and spoke to someone. They told me it was a mistake and not to worry about it. Two months later I got a letter in the mail threatening bill collections on $11. Worst company *** ever done business with!!!

      I was in contrac with them, then i cancel before the end of my contract , then i receive a letter on march 24 2025saying that if i do not pay what I owe onthe **** of this letter march 26 2025 the will send me to collections, I do not know what I owe them, its not itemize and even greater than my monthly payment,, I had many problems with the system but because i was on contract I had to wait to cancelled, now this , I am tired of this system.

      I initially had ATT Digital Life with a lot of bells and whistles for a great rate of $65 including tax per month. Brinks bought out the account and grandfathered the bells in whistles in until I moved. When I moved in October 2024 and was going to cancel Svc because I wouldnt need in an apartment, I was told I was on a 3 year contract which no one at Brinks ever told me about. Under no certain terms was I going to pay for service I wasnt using while I was in apartment so Brinks graciously credited my account for those month. I was told when I moved into my new home in December ****************************************************************** apartment. Wrong that was a lie. I just called to cancel because I have switched services to a company who offered to buy out the contract for which we were under the impression would be April or June of 2026. When I called Brinks to cancel, they said contract was extended out to 2029 back in December. I also lost out of some fabulous bells and whistles I had when living in ******. So I was totally downgraded when moved and was lied to about the contract and have been treated unfairly and the practices are totally unethical. Again, nobody told me there would be a contract in the beginning and nobody told me the contract would extend as long as 36 months when moving. I was only told 2 months. I only agreed to 2 month extension and I feel as though Brinks is scamming me and others and keeping us locked in without our permission or authorization

      My home security system was bought out by Brinks. I've been a Brinks customer for 9 years now and a few months ago the alarm panel quit working. The Tech came out and said it was dead and could install an upgraded panel. Unfortunately, I was out of town and my wife agreed to the upgrade. I have been trying to figure out why the app on my phone no longer allows me to see the cameras. The cameras write to the *** and show on the tv monitor in my home, I just needed to know what app to use on my smartphone. Again, Im out of town on business and my wife is told Brinks is no longer monitoring cameras and the cameras we have can not be linked to a phone app.Just when I thought about what a bunch Bull Hockey that was, she also informed me when we close on the sale of our house, we will owe Brinks $1,500.00 to get out of a ***********, I find it interesting that I invest in a security system to keep from getting robbed, but it looks like its going to happen anyway. For my new home I will purchase my own RING system from ********** at a tremendously lower cost, and have a better, more useable and friendly system.Brinks I am done and will spread the word to NOT,, use your system/service.

      Dispecable sales persons. Told me could have 2 days to review to budget before I could commit. They told me not to worry that it would be a "month-to-month and could ***** anytime. I gave it 2 months and was not happy nor did I find it useful. Called to cancel and said they would be happy to all I had to do is "pay the $8,000" balance. Those were the first and second lies, all down hill from there. They notified installers just before getting up to leave, but they crossed each other on my walkway. I asked them to stop but refused. The guy that installed the panel did not key in the number code I gave him, now I can't stop alarm when I accidently set it off. My doorbell ring outside is very loud, however I can oly hear the chime on the inside, which is located in outside of the main lliving area and CANNOT hear it unless I am directly under it. Called again because I keep getting message "battery low." None of the installers left pamphlets, or gave instructions on equipment. ******* now tells me if I want a tech to fix my chime, I have to $50.00 (fifty dollars). You would think the $8,000 (eight thousand dollars) would cover it!!!! WHERE'S THE " MINUS ZERO," that's what they deserve.

      The worst, just make sure when your contract up ,and you won't to cancel do it fast cause they sent me offers to extend and I denied and so I called yesterday to cancel and they tell me I have 11 more month I been with them sense 2020 and on a 3 years contract how why I have 11 months they talking about i sign up for 36 more months never sign a contract too extend and still waiting on a copy of the contract to have my lawyer look at it have not received the copy yet, and monthly price to high and system always has issues I'm done with brinks how they trapped me

      January 22, 2025 after scheduling for someone to come out from brinks and give me a system that they were running a special on which came with majority of everything I wanted and already have with current system. the tech came out install everything and I noticed that I was not given other things that I wanted. I 4 items and the add-ons that I had added he told me to call brinks and theyll resolve . I called back that same day. Transferred several times and then given another number to call .called that number spoke to that person told them to either cancel it or just make it right. I was told that someone will call me on Thursday to schedule another appointment to resolve missing items No one called me called o all day Friday left messages & sent a couple of text messages. I got nothing called Saturday nothing called Monday. Spoke to a few people then I finally got in touch with the manager cause I was like to just either fix it or cancel it. She told me that she would me back 4 hours later I called her back, trying to speak with her and someone informed me that she had call me within ****************************************** back. Wednesday, I called back and I was just trying to cancel now theyre trying to tell me I owe them $3000 which I was trying cancel from the get-go or either fix it or cancel it and they just never call me back. They dropped the ball so how is it my fault 3days went by because nobody returned my calls. nobody handled things on their end plus the install person left a big hole in my wall. They let the time lapse and now are trying to punish me for their mess up not sure how to add a picture, but I do have a photo of the hole
