      Hello, I really need your help. I was late on my payments, and I admit my mistake because of financial difficulties. However, my car was taken by the bank without me receiving a letter informing me that it would be taken and also giving me a date to pay the debt. Please help me get the car back and I will pay the late payments.I beg for your help so that I can pay the late payments and get my car back. I know that I have been late in paying several times, but now I will be able to pay every month. I am not justifying my delays, but the bank did not inform me in a letter that the car would be taken. This last **** says that my phone was not updated in the system, and this is not correct because my phone has been the same since I bought the car. No one from the bank called me to tell me this. But please, I beg for your help. I do not want to face court to resolve future car debts.If you want l can give some amount to make a deal but the bank ask me for ****** thousand, this is impossible for me, l beg your help to give the late payments or a little more to take my car back.Thank you so much and God bless you all

      Truck payments being charged a high interest rate and Im paid up until 12/07/2025 .my schedule payments are $184.17 a month and I sent a pay in on 04/29/2025 of $200.00 and was charged $113.90 interest and only $86. 10 went towards my truck note that I am already paid up on until 12/07/2025 . I sent another payment of $200.00 in on 05/08/2025 and was charged $19.31 of which $180.69 went towards my truck note. I talked to an agent ID number ***** who informed me that what ever payments I make up until 12/07/2025 will go to the Principal without interest and this same agent said that my interest rate is $1.93 a day . None of this adds up and on my past statements in the activity section it was blank now it shows that each time I make a payment which I state again is not due until 12/07/2025 and Im just sending payments in to pay this balance off an by the time my due date comes Ill be so low that I will pay it off completely. It seems that I am getting ripped off from these people. I made a payment of $1500 on 12/31/2024 then $500 on 01/02/2025 . On the statement dated01/18/2025 the total amount due is $25.87 by 12/07/2025 this was after a $500.00 payment which I again say was just a payment that I sent in to pay off the vehicle ahead of time and no payment was are still is due until 12/07/2025 . Yet I am still being charged interest.

      I am filing a complaint against Santander Consumer USA for unethical loan servicing practices and failure to protect the consumer after being alerted to potential vehicle fraud. In 2024, I financed a 2023 GMC Acadia through Santander following a purchase from *************** GMC. After the sale, I discovered the *** may be fraudulent and associated with multiple listings, raising serious concerns about the legitimacy of the transaction and being unable to be validated by insurance companies or carfax.I immediately contacted Santander to report the issue and requested that they pause loan payments and halt repossession actions while the matter was investigated. I spoke with a manager, ****** ***** (Employee ID: *******, who confirmed that Santander would report the dealership internally. However, he also explicitly stated that the company would continue to demand payment and would not stop repossession efforts even with a fraud investigation underway.This is unacceptable. Santander is knowingly pursuing enforcement on a loan tied to a potentially illegal transaction. They have made no effort to shield me, the consumer, from harm and have demonstrated no accountability in reviewing the integrity of the loan they issued. I am requesting an immediate pause on loan obligations, protection from repossession, and a formal investigation into the transaction. If fraud is confirmed, I expect full release from the loan and reimbursement of all payments made.

      I am rejecting this response because:   

      Dear Santander Consumer USA,

      Thank you for your response regarding the above-referenced BBB complaint. However, your reply fails to address the core issue that has placed me, the consumer, in legal and financial jeopardy.

      While you state that the Vehicle Identification Number (***) matches the contractual documents, that does not resolve the actual harm: the vehicle cannot be legally registered or insured due to unresolved discrepancies that have rendered it functionally inoperable in a legal sense. Simply matching a *** on paperwork is not sufficient to override legal and regulatory requirements for registration, title clarity, and insurability.

      As of the date of this response, I have been unable to register or insure the vehicle, and therefore, I am unable to legally drive it. This failure stems directly from issues related to the dealerships handling of the sale including misrepresentation of the *** and potential title fraud which are now part of active legal proceedings.

      Furthermore, I want to formally notify you that I have initiated litigation against the selling dealership for fraudulent misrepresentation, among other claims. If your office continues collection efforts or refuses to pause this account without acknowledging the ongoing fraud investigation and the vehicles non-legal status, I will have no choice but to consider Santander Consumer USA a complicit party. Should discovery confirm willful negligence or bad faith collection activity despite notice of fraud, I will pursue additional remedies.

      If your office believes the burden is solely on me to fax in photos of the *** while knowing the vehicle is not legally usable, I strongly encourage you to reassess your risk exposure. I have retained all communications and documentation related to this matter.

      Please escalate this case to a senior compliance officer or legal department representative. If a reasonable resolution cannot be reached promptly, I will also be submitting formal complaints with the following agencies:

      My car payment is ****** a month. I was told a few weeks back that any payment that I made extra would go to principle. I paid 300 on my 1st bill, on my statement it didnt show where the extra ***** went. So I made an extra payment of $25 to see where it would post. I checked my account and it posted to interest. I called customer service and told them that I want the extra posted to principle and there wasn't an option to do that on the website. They told me I'd have to call. I asked to speak to a manager. I spoke with ***** (ID ******* and he told me that there was no option to have the extra money I pay to be put how I want it and that it will go to interest only. I want to pay down my balance and if I pay extra, it should be directed where I want it to go. I've paid a total of ***** that I want to go to principle. I said that I am always able to pay extra principle, on my last car loan and on my mortgage.

      April 15th Santander Consumer USA repossessed my car illegally due to some billing error. I have had to send several demand letter for documentation obtaining to this auto loan agreement. Santander has not responded to any of the requests instead they repossessed my property without any written agreement. Due to this account being current and reported as such to the credit reporting agency this is a fraud activity being done by Santander Consumer USA. I am demanding the release of my vehicle immediately.

      I finance the vehicle through *** financial who sold the loan to Santander consumer. I paid this vehicle off back in 2022. I realize January2025 that I never received my title. Ive been contacting Santander consumer as well as *** financial since January 2025, no one has the title I was sold the vehicle through a company that did not verify whether or not they had the title and I would like for the company to refund me every dollar I pay for that vehicle

      I purchased a boat using santader consumer usa as my lein holder. I fully paid my loan off in 2014. They never released the lein. I am now selling my boat and cannot receive a clear title because they have not removed the lein. I have requested this three times I am getting nowhere with them. legally the boat is mine and lein which has been satisfied for years now should have been removed so I can get a clean title. I cannot sell it until I get this.

      I am rejecting this response because:  

      1) I did not receive the Release of Lien in the mail. It has been significant time since the mailed letter date.

      2) I took the copy of the Release of Lien attached to their response to you to the Lee County Tax Collector to get a clean title for the sale of my vessel/trailer. They stated: The lien is an "Electronic Lien" and can only be removed by the banking establishment(Santander Consumer USA).

      3) I will reach out to Santander with the number provided in their letter to see if I can expedite this process. Still trying to get a clean title for multiple weeks with no real results.
