This company, and its many shell corporations, have been stealing money from my company for 6 months now. I never signed up with these folks for my merchant services, yet somehow they have been withdrawing $55 per month since July. I have tried to cancel this contract that I never signed for 3 months now. Supposedly the person that opened my account worked for a third party company. But she no longer works there and I am unable to get a copy of the signed contract. I have not authorized any payments to this company but they have taken over $360.00 in "fees" for a service I never purchased.Business Response

I cancelled my contract with Chelle Comm LLC, who started this nightmare, paid my early termination fee which the salesperson said there would not be and wasn't within the 14 pages of size 8 type, however there was a lower case word embedded in the middle of page 7, and if you clicked on the word then all the penalties would appear, sounds pretty illegal to me.By June 27th the early termination fee had been paid and equipment (card reader) had been returned. However, Merch Setl continued to delete anywhere from $76.30 to $145 at the start of each month from my bank, even though no services were provided. September 1st Merch Setl withdrew $90.82 and $145.00. So by my records Merch Setlmt , PayAnywhere or whatever this scam outfit is called, owes me $402.94.And they are still trying to withdraw money from my bank account.Business Response

I signed up with this company in 2018 to take care of my credit card processing needs. And now I want to retire and don't need a credit card processor and they want to charge me a $295 account closure fee. This seems very excessive since I have been paying their fees for longer than the agreed upon initial term of 3 years. I shouldn't have to pay anything just to close an account. I have not paid the closure fee, but want my account closed so I am not charged any additional fees.Business Response

I originally was originally contacted in May 2023 talking to *** in May/June about an issue with my current processor. We were due a refund and they were aware of it.I think my reference number was CC64166 email was ***************************** I was then sent to an analyst named ****. He states that the ************* is his cellphone. His office was *************. email a ************************ He would message me constantly abbot how I was being over charged and his Manager could do this or this, it was something every time. He then would swear he could get our refund. He messaged leading up until 7/8/23. On 08/05/23 he started again, we basically asked, in good faith for the refund again, because we are still being told he could do it. He texted me and told me to "HOLD MY BREATH, UNGRATEFUL SPECIMAN OF A HUMAN"I also tried calling his manager at ************* because I had missed calls from that number and whoever picked up hung up. He states her name is *************************. I every number I had listed for the company, begging for a manager. I spoke with *****, *************************** she asked to forward all info and all texts and promised to handle, that was on 08/09, I emailed for follow up on 08/14/23 today is 08/24/23 and no replies. Called again on 08/24, ***** answered had no history of me, no email stated she has been out. I asked for her website would not give asked to transfer me, did and it hung up. She tried to give me an email of ***************************** I finally got another number for her and once I googled it, everything matches Chellecomm. Called back a guy answered, same info asked of him and he hung up on meBusiness Response

Chellecomm, LLC (Chellecomm) is in receipt of Complaint ******** (the Complaint). Based on our preliminary investigation, Chellecomm has been unable to locate any merchant associated with the name or the email address provided in the complaint. Chellecomm believes that this merchant may have actually been placed with one of its competitors. Chellecomm respectfully requests that the merchant provide a copy of its merchant agreement so that Chellecomm can determine whether there is actually a merchant relationship involved here and/or whether Chellecomm is holding funds belonging to the merchant, which it does not believe to be the case. In the event Chellecomm determines that it is holding funds that are due to the merchant, such funds will be promptly disbursed. Chellecomm also notes that the individual with whom the complainant was allegedly communicating is no longer employed by Chellecomm.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because, I know I do not have a merchant agreement with this company, I never have. I do have it with a competitor. I will not release to them who my service is with, that is not their business. However, they lied and stated they had funds of mine and led me to believe that their company was affiliated with my current ***************** that they were basically another division of them They attempted to get our banking information and sign a contract with them under these false pretenses. After researching on my own time, I am the one who figured that out and filed with the BBB. They wasted countless hours of my time and resources all on false claims and lies.
The associate that said the horrible comments was called by my husband after the fact, he answered and told my husband that his "friend" answered while he was in the shower and had texted me thinking it was someone else. He lied to my husband and it was him the whole time. He knew what he said could have been prosecuted and perceived as a threat and he could potentially be in trouble.

A woman from Chellecomm has called my business a few times over the last couple of months, most recently yesterday, claiming to be calling from our credit card processing company. She stated that there was an error on our account and we were being overcharged credit card fees. Initially the other business owner said we would look into it and call her back. However I began asking her very basic questions about her company and she became very hostile until she hung up on me. I spoke with our back about it to ask if they had ever heard of this company and luckily they let me know that this is in fact a scam and they are not affiliated at all with our actual merchant processing company. I'd like to request that the BBB label this company as a scam to warn others about their lying and deceptive marketing strategy.Business Response

Based on a review of its records, Chellecomm only shows three phone calls to this merchant, lasting approximately 11 seconds, 56 seconds, and 10 seconds. The two shorter calls indicate that we likely reached the merchant's voicemail. The longer call was still less than a minute, which likely means we asked to speak with the owner and were placed on hold or something to that effect. Regardless, the lengths of these calls do not support the allegations made. Note that there are other companies who call merchants and the calls in the complaint, if they occurred, may have come from another company rather than Chellecomm. Chellecomm is aware of no evidence to substantiate the complaints and denies making any such calls.
That said, the requested relief is to have no further communication and Chellecomm is happy to abide by that. Chellecomm has no need to contact this merchant going forward.

I am rejecting this response because: These claims are false. This company uses blocked numbers to call, so they are not disclosing all of their calls they made to us. I spoke with a woman from Chellcomm for several minutes as described.Business Response
