    Ordered 1 calendar and 1 mug. After checking on my credit card, I see 3 orders. Twice my credit card was hit by Paw Prints for .00 amount.

    April 5th- Initial purchase was authorized for a total of $68.06. There was a tax adjustment due to the location of the buyer and the Tax amount was updated from $5.13 USD to $5.19 USD.

    Also on April 5th the original authorization was voided. The new total of $68.12 USD was authorized via Shop Pay at 4:55pm. Then, the capture took place for the some total and 4:55pm

    This customer was having a hard time understanding that the initial authorization was voided, the second authorization was simply just an authorization of the correct amount and the third item was a capture which is the only time anything is withdrawn from an account. 

    The customer emailed requesting a cancelation. The agent honored the request and refunded the total amount. The amount of $68.12 was deducted from our system and refunded on April 7th.

    March 16th 2025 transaction date Order #****** $24.99 $5.95 shipping Total $30.94 I was told my dog would be featured in the calendar as the May 2025 photo. In place of the photo was a fundraising appeal page. No photo of my dog. I attempted to reach them via website chat and email to support. I was scammed and am so annoyed.

    These accusations are partially correct. The page in the middle of the calendar is not an advertisement page, it is an out of order calendar and the back page was printed in the wrong spot.

    The order was canceled and refunded due to no response to our email requesting additional information. If the required details are not provided in a timely manner, we must cancel the order and issue a refund, as it would be unethical to retain funds for an incomplete order.

    I received a text message saying that my dog was selected to be in their calendar after a submission. The business makes you believe that your photo is being submitted and selected exclusively. Ultimately, I learned today after reading reviews that this is just away for them to get you to buy their calendar. I knew something was up when I was informed that he was selected, and then prompted a special link to make a purchase of the calendar, which I thought was odd if he was selected. I then tried to search for the calendar without using the link and all that I see is the ability to submit a picture of your pet, not purchase these calendars, although they claim they are releasing multiple calendars. If this is the case, why are they not available for purchase by anyone not just the person who submitted the picture? I would like to see on the website where I could purchase the multiple calendars that youre releasing.

    Thank you for your feedback. If I may, I would like to take this opportunity to clarify our calendar release process.


    We do produce more than one calendar each year. However, it's important to note that not every submitted photo of a dog or cat will be included. Due to our commitment to maintaining high print standards, we must unfortunately reject a significant number of images that do not meet these criteria. We believe in delivering only the highest quality products.


    When we do receive images that align with our standards, we strive to feature those beloved pets in our calendars whenever possible. As a business dedicated to raising funds for shelter animals, it is in our best interest to create multiple calendars to support our mission. You can read all about our 2024 and some of our 2025 contributions from sales on our website here.


    If our previous communications gave the impression that we only release a single calendar as part of the process, I sincerely apologize. Misleading our participants is never our intention.
    I truly value your feedback and will take it into consideration as we evaluate how we present our process moving forward. As a small, family-operated business, we are continually learning and seeking to improve, and your insights are greatly appreciated.

    Additionally, we do not post calendars for sale on our website as we had people ordering the wrong calendars and this was the best way to alleviate that issue.

    I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. Thank you for the explanation and apology. Im sure you can understand my embarrassment when I was reaching out to my entire family asking them to buy this calendar only to find out that none of them could purchase. I then did a little research and saw that there were similar complaints, which made me realize that ***** was not exclusively selected for your calendars. Clearly, I am not the only person who has misunderstood how this process works, and appreciate the fact that you acknowledge that there may be room for change to this business practice.

    I entered my cat in a calendar and I have received a text that my cat won and was going to be in the calendar and I received my calendar today and my cat is no where in the calendar below you will see the proof of my cat winning

    We have responded to this customer's email to provide a corrected replacement. This customer's order encountered the same technical issue that result in quite a few orders being mixed up. 

    Additionally, the emails sent were over the weekend. We were able to reach the ticket as fast as possible.

    I placed an order with The Paw Print for a mug that had a picture of my Bernese Mountain dog on it with his name. When I received the mug it had the right name but the dog was not the picture I submitted, it is a boxer. I have reached out several times and they dont respond.

    This customer was responded to immediately. The ticket was forwarded to a live agent.

    The customer then emailed three more times before the live agent was able to reach the ticket. The customer sent another email seven hours later. 

    Our agent received this ticket, addressed the issue and entered into our system a replacement was needed. The new order is already created and the customer has been notified.

    I ordered 2 calendars from The Paw Print. I got picked for my cat to be featured in the April month. I received the calendars and when me and my friend open them it was not my cat. I ordered them on February 27 2025. I received them on March 6th 2025. I have left them a message on Instagram where i entered the contetest and was picked for it. But they have not responded. I left 2 more and still nothing. I wish I had a phone number I would call them. My order number was ******.

    Clearly this company knows what they are doing- to draw this much ire on BBB- you clearly give people the impression their animal is a part of the calendar and they are not. I fell victim to this. Then they give you a link to purchase the calendar at a discounted price, because of course a pet owner wants to see their animal. Then you do all this c*** under the guise of helping animals. SHAME. ON. YOU. I threw your stupid calendar in the trash! Very mean spirited

    This customer did order and their calendar did arrive without their pet's photo in it. We experienced a technical issue and all customers that encountered this issue are receiving a replacement package, free of charge of course.

    The issue resulting in this mis-print has since been resolved. 

    This customer did not email in about any concerns with their order following its successful delivery. We would have promptly issues a replacement no questions asked.

    Hello, I'd like to file a complaint as have many others on here about the shady and misleading business practices. I submitted an image of my cat Hotdog, but got a weird feeling after receiving the auto text that I'll get a response for the next calendar result in 1-3 weeks, so I checked Reddit to find people sharing their experiences, and got linked to this page. I have provided to the business screenshots of them both saying that their business model in NOT a contest, and also saying it IS a contest. So, which is it? Are you making it seem like people are winning a contest to have a pet featured into a calendar for everyone in the world to share, or not?And don't give me the same "we have to reject many pet photos daily" message response. I don't care about photos with vertical dimensions versus horizontal, blurry iPhone 4 pictures, filters, or whatever it may be. That's rejecting for MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS, not being eliminated for a contest! You know full well what you are doing. You are most definitely taking advantage of the people here that care about their pets, and love the idea of using their pet to help other pets. I selected the specific option of contributing my donations if I were to buy the calendar to helping animal parents pay for vet bills, because my beloved Hotdog I submitted last year passed away of something unknown, and I couldn't afford the vet at that time. Everyone, do what you will with the info I have provided, and I highly recommend looking through people's experiences on this company.

    Again, we do not hold a contest. We give owners an opportunity to feature their pet in a calendar while also allowing them to be a part of the bigger mission. Paying Vet bills for owners is one of the most dearest ways to pay it forward for us. We do make sure this is something we follow through with and not just something we speak about. We encourage you to visit our donations page on our website, but also our ******** page. We are most active there and on Instagram. You have an opportunity when visiting those to see the most recent ways The Paw Print is serving pet owners and others related to the pet world in the community. 

    Lastly, we reject much more than you believe. Your description above is far off. However, we appreciate your concern and feedback.

    I am rejecting this response because:   

    The business just decided to claim that their past emails were simply poorly worded, and "we reject far more than you believe" is not a professional response of a business. I've seen some people in these business reviews called these people c**** and other things, but I believe I shared my opinion on this business's ethics in my initial message very respectfully all considered. So no, I do not think this is an ethical business, and I FULLY reject this bs response.
