Biggest call out is their gm ******** ***** - do you all train your employees to hang up on customers? Also, Jasmine and ******* (manager of customer care, and ******* ********* in ***********. Apparently they are the end all be all with Golds and cant seem to assist a customer in getting to someone who can actually provide the service in which they are paid to ********** is the principle at this point!! I want someone to contact me, I have been dealing with this since July!! Your company and its employees are just beyond this world rude!!

This place is horrible. They take multiple payments, and there is hardly anyone to talk to in order to remedy the situation. When you do finally get someone on the phone, they make excuses and try to keep your money, and there is absolutely 0 customer service.

My locker got broken into at golds gym on *****************. They stole my car keys, stole my CAR, my wallet, AirPods, etc. when I reported it to the front desk as it was happening, they did absolutely nothing, looked completely unphased like this happens often, and responded immediately with we have no working cameras inside or ouraise this gym it really does smell like an inside job. I posted about it on my social media (several thousand followers) and multiple other people experienced theft/locks CUT on lockers at this gym. Wallets, phones, cars. They clearly have a major problem with theft and have made no attempt to solve it or increase security. They absolve themselves of any responsibility by maintaining there is no cameras. They did not even document the incident for management. Asked for no details. Seriously give ANY other of the great ****** gyms your money. ***************** golds is dangerous and sketchy.

I went in and cancelled my subscription and the lady took my information and said thanks we are good. A month later I got a late notice. I called and the person at ********* location said I was lying. I had to pay for two more months to get rid of them. Just horrible customer service and they do not care about you as a person. I strongly recommend you do not do business with them.

Golds Gym have horrible customer service. They closed the ********** location which is not my fault because they could not afford the rent so they closed. Now Im forced to drive on the other side of town. They will not allow me to cancel the membership I would never recommend this golds gym. The people they have answering the phone at the ********** location are so unprofessional since they are closing. The gym was dirty all the time, equipment broken, no chemicals for cleaning the equipment. They should have been closed down because of how unsanitary the gym was.

The took $160 out of my account when I told them not to ( in person ). They wont switch my home gym location so unless I cancel and resign with the other location. I just keep talking to the same incompetent people .. ******* ******** location to be exact. Its really sad because I went to the *************** location for 20 years.. such a change in customer service and environment.

I signed up with ******************* with specific terms in mind, but my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. When I joined the gym, I was assured that my membership would NOT renew or result in additional charges if I missed a payment due to my frequent work-related travels. This was a critical consideration for me as I wanted flexibility without the fear of incurring unexpected fees. However, despite the assurances I received, I've now been billed for both July and August and to make matters worse, I'm facing the looming threat of my $90 debt being sent to collections. The manager I spoke with (*****) seemed to trivialize my concerns and brushed off my frustration, insisting that these charges were somehow "legitimate" and offered to waive just one of the months I was wrongly billed for, leaving me paying over $50 for a service/membership I didn't even use. I find it deeply frustrating that *********************** is not honoring the commitments made at the time of my enrollment and, at this point, I am even hesitant to visit the gym to pay my dues and cancel my membership. Reading through other complaints from past customers, it appears that ******************* has a track record of mishandling cancellations and wrongfully charging their patrons. It's hardly a surprise that ******************* holds an 'F' rating with the Better Business Bureau. The misinformation, the lack of accountability, and the seeming inability to rectify their mistakes have left me both frustrated and concerned for others who may be subjected to similar treatment. I had hoped for a flexible and supportive gym experience, but unfortunately, that's not what I've received. In light of my experience, I cannot recommend ******************* to anyone seeking a reliable and customer-oriented ********************** center.

I cancelled my membership over 4 years ago, and my spouse just restarted his membership about 8 months ago. He has made several purchases there and made another one in which my card was charged, and without authorization. I have no idea how they couldve used my card or how its even on file with his new account. This is a serious red flag for their accounting system.

They will not let you go!!I have a gym at my new job, and chose to cancel my membership with Gold's Gym. Their website stated I could cancel via email, and so I sent an email May 30th requesting to end my membership. I got an email a few days later stating that I would still be billed for the next month (on 6/24) and would have my membership end 7/24. 7/23 I see a pending charge from Gold's, and I immediately call Gold's to find out what happened. The man I spoke with at my local location said the manager was the only person who could confirm my cancellation, they were only there during normal business hours (this was a weekend). I get a voicemail from the manager on Monday stating they see I have cancelled my membership, and nothing should be charging. The charge posts to my account. At this point, I go to my bank and dispute the charge, and they reverse it. Now I am getting calls and emails from ****'s telling me there was an issue with my card, and to give new payment information to continue my account! What?! I called the payment line they sent me, and asked to have my card information deleted from their system. The gentleman told me he would have to redirect me to someone for this to happen, and that someone was a voicemail box. I absolutely cannot trust that they won't charge me again in a month, and though I had initially thought of reinstating my membership once I had better finances, I know now it is a lifetime commitment.

Ive been trying to cancel my membership since beginning of April, after multiple calls and someone at the gym claiming they emailed my cancelation procedures because I moved out of state I finally was told I needed to mail a certified letter to their headquarters to cancel. I did, it was received May 15th here it is mid July and Im still being charged. No managers are ever available to answer the phone I leave a couple messages a week. Someone cancel my membership now and refund my money. This is for the *********** ** location I know they are franchises.
