      This place takes your safety as a joke I had another member stalking me inside the gym as far as to the parking lot whom is under investigation for a *** CRIME with a minor following me all over the gym retaliating against me for reporting his crime to the police . **** and ***** said they couldnt do anything until I had a no contact order once I had that in place he would be banned immediately until then it was out of there hands I went that same day and was granted a temporary order due to severity of how bad the stalking and following had been. I took the order back and **** stated it was a personal problem and there was nothing they can do. ***** stated if this guy is harassing you Im not going to put my staff in danger and ask them to ask him to leave. I then stated this is your business and You have the right to refuse service to anyone especially someone being harassed inside the business he then went on how him and KPD dont have a good relationship so I need to call them. I then stated since my safety was a joke since I open carry I will be having my firearm on me while working out , ***** then stated firearms were not allowed inside the gym saying Im not allowed to take it in even though my safety was at risk. I then left the premises and was attacked in the parking lot of golds gym. I called the police and reported this incident to staff **** then stated the parking lot of golds was not there property so therefore wasnt there problem . I went in demanding my membership be cancelled and the cancellation fee be waived due to my 2nd amendment of having the right to bear arms being violated and the contract being broken on there end to not providing me a safe environment as the contract stated it would do so. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this gym to anyone especially if you have small children they still did not care even with a legal no contact order provided to them nothing was still done. My rights and myself as a women was completely violated .

      I called to pause my account on the 1st of February and the lady said she will pause my account I ended up being charged for annual fee as well as the monthly fee. The saunas are disgusting as well as the pools for that price it is better to go to another gym. I am very disgusted at this company and what they represent

      DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GOLDS! I called to cancel my membership. A few months later, I received a call from the gym saying I'm behind on my payment. I told them again, I canceled my membership. Now I'm receiving repeated debt collection calls for a $90 bill. I'm not sure what their angle is and why they're harassing me but it seems so scammy! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

      Re: Canceling membership Gold's Gym Austin (Westlake) Cancellation form dated 01/27/2022 and signed by me confirming I requested to cancel my membership. Gold's Gym continued to bill my credit card for $32.48 after "...last billing date...scheduled for 02/25/2022 for $32.48" per the cancellation form dated 01/27/2022. I disputed the ongoing charges to my credit card with my bank. My bank notified me May 19, 2022 "We are pleased to inform you that the dispute has been resolved in your favor". This included the transaction date February 25, 2022 and is permanent. Gold's Gym has a hard copy of the cancellation form dated 01/27/2022 yet continued billing my account for services after the effective date of cancellation. Gold's Gym has a hard copy of the cancellation form dated 01/27/2022 yet referred my account to a debt collector. The debt collector, acting as an agent on behalf of Gold's Gym, requested payment, per Gold's Gym, of $169.92. This represents 5 months of services yet Gold's Gym states that my last billing date was scheduled for 02/25/2022 for $32.48. I sent letters via USPS Registered Mail and Return Receipt Services to Gold's Gym and First Credit Services notifying them that this is not my debt. My out of pocket cost for USPS services was $15.70. Although the dispute was resolved in my favor and included the final billing, Gold's Gym replied "Therefore, we have adjusted the total balance owed from $169.92 to $32.48. We have attached the cancellation form confirming your last billing scheduled was for 2/25/22. We will contact First Credit Services to update the balance to $32.48 and this amount will remain owed." Gold's Gym followed up "If you need any further clarification, you will need to follow the steps below to reach our Support Center. Call your local gym number > dial 1 for "Existing Membership" > dial 2 for "Billing"." I am not pleased with Gold's Gym's record keeping nor am I pleased with Gold's Gym's business practices.
