      I'd leave 0 stars if possible. Original agent was ****** ******* in *********, **. Demanded up to date printouts of our accounts about every 3rd day. Every time our bank balances went up, fees went up, usually to about $1000 more than we had. Demanded our marriage certificate. Demanded that we finance only my husband and then as a 2nd home because he didnt didn't have a job transfer... when I had longer time w my employer, sufficient income on my own, and a transfer. When asked why they were doing it this way, agent said (in writing), "Oh because YOU don't qualify,LoL!" (Which i I DID qualify all on my own at a bank. Hit us with 11% interest and then charged us $2912 in "points" to buy the rate down to still a whopping 7.75%, even though we said we don't care about the rate, we DO NOT want to pay points . Ripoff games. We found out when we were closing by a CC on an email from ****** secretary to our insurance company . No organization whatsoever and TERRIBLE communications. I've bought 6 houses and this was the worst experience EVER.

      I was dealing with **** from SC location and he made my first time home buying experience great. It was smooth sailing even with the bumps that occurred because ************ was very knowledgeable and had already prepared me for worse case scenario; so when the bumps occurred it was not that bad. The process was user friendly and quick. I was able to do a lot of things while I was out and about from my cell. The company even had helped me find the utility companies so I could get those arrangements made. I will most definitely recommend and continue to have ************ help me with any and all future buys in SC.

We were always kept in the loop on every step of the loan process.       We didn't think we would get approved for our loan. We hit a rough patch back in 2016, and we were attempting to purchase in 2020. Southwest Funding got it done when another lender could not! Not only that, but we got a great rate, reasonable fees, outstanding service, and the deal went through on-time. Absolutely no snags!
