I serve as the current Vice President on the board for *************************************** called the *************, in Dana Point, California. We are having multiple local businesses reach out to us to tell us that Campus Box representatives are contacting them on our behalf and setting up fundraisers we are unaware of. We have zero affiliations with this company. They are contacting our teaching staff and coaches, damaging our reputation with our local sponsors, and taking advantage of business owners. They are fraudulently using our coaching staff names as leverage and are stealing money meant for our students. I would like a formal investigation opened on this matter. They deserve an F rating and should not be trusted by the public. This company and is representatives are predators to ***** organizations. We have been contacted by *******************, *************, *********, and ************ to name a few.

I purchased an advertising package through spirit. I was promised multiple things that would have been great advertising for my company. After agreeing and giving the credit card number I was given a email stating that the schools must agree to participate in all of the advertising I was purchasing. I was reassured that the school in my district would participate and I would get all of the advertising I was paying for. A few months later I went to the basketball game with my family and discovered that I was not getting anything I paid for. There was no banner with my business name. No coupons. No announcement. Literally not 1 thing we paid for. We were told we would get 36 shirts we got 6. I've called over and over again leaving messages no one will call me back. I've left messages stating I want to cancel and yet I'm still being charged a subscription for absolutely no advertising at all

We have recieved 1 call that was answered and a conversation was completed! We where told that a call was made to the school. waiting for a response.

Later we received a email. Stating they were sending a email to the school as they had not recieved and communication from school. We did not reply back to 1 email. As we had no reply to them sending a email.
So as for us not replying to several calls and emails this is not true !!!

We would like to use resolution provided to us but do not feel confident that resolution would be fillfulled as clearly the company can not communicate with the school.

On approx. 10/20/22 I was contacted via phone by a sales rep. for Campus Box Media named Lisa ****** She told me about an advertising opportunity in my own community. She made it seem quite urgent. She explained that the local high school needed a business sponsor asap. The basketball games were starting very soon and they needed team shirts, etc. The deal she offered me was to be the sponsor for one of the high school teams for both Fall basketball and Spring Football. She explained that these t-shirts were a great advertising opportunity because they would be the teams' shirts and would be worn at all their games for their 22/23 seasons. 36 shirts were to be made for Fall basketball and 36 more later for Spring Football, along with some paper coupons for my business, a semi-promise of a banner at games and a verbal shout out, etc. She also stated I would of course be welcome to all their games & tournaments and would feel welcome and a part of this little sport community. The price for this advertising package was to be @ $1,200 + taxes for the whole 12 month contract.

The urgency push from Lisa was strong and I only had supposedly 2 hours tops to make a decision and get payment to them via credit card. I made my first quarterly payment of $318.24 on @ 10/20/22. The next 3 identical payments are scheduled for 1/20/23, 4/20/23, 7/20/23, all together totaling $1,274.16. As a former parent of students at this high school, I decided I should help them. Over the next day or 2 I was emailed from another rep. named Peyton who had me send over my logo and business details, shirt wording, etc. On 10/27/22 I agreed to the artwork proof and they would bet it rolling.

On 11/18/22 I had heard nothing yet and was beginning to feel I may have been scammed. I emailed Peyton with my concerns and she responded to me on 11/21/22 saying it should be "soon." I responded again and asked what about me attending games or even having contact information for the coach or anyone so I ca

After my phone conversation on 1/26/2023 with this company, I was under the impression that they would stop taking any future payments AND refund me the $318.24 payment to my business credit card from 1/20/2023. We discussed that they could keep the original $318.24 payment from 10/20/2023.

As soon as I know the status of this refund I will be ready to accept the response from this business. Thank you.

On January 31, 2022, I received a call from Campus Box Media that my tutoring business, Stress No More Tutoring, LLC was selected to be sponsored by Person High School in Roxboro, North Carolina. I was told that in the $600 package that I would receive announcements, banners, social media shoutout, 100 promotional coupons, and 36 white t-shirts. I spent a total of 649.98 on August 30, 2022. Since then, there had been no confirmation of the school receiving the stuff that they were supposed to promote on behalf of my business. I asked for a refund TWICE & they declined. I even asked to see where my business was shouted out at because I went on Person High School's Facebook & Instagram & they have never posted my business. Long story short, this company scammed me out of $649.98 that I could have put to better use for my business, and I want my money back!!

We spoke with our contact at the school, she said: The coupons are mostly wrapped in t-shirts we have to give to the crowds that come to football and basketball games. Otherwise, they are given when purchasing tickets. Banners are held by the cheerleaders on the track during football games and/or at halftime. We use the team Instagram page to promote many events and vendors.

This is a shell company set up to scam locally businesses. Our school district received complaints from local businesses that this company was using individual school logos and was emailing businesses claiming to gather sponsorships for athletic teams. NONE of our schools or teams are working with this company. When I called they claimed to have worked with a "cheer coach". The name they gave me was a former teachers name who never coached while employed for us a few years ago. When I questioned the "Trasie ******* she hung up on me. TOTAL FRAUD/SCAM. DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY. Instead, CALL THE SCHOOL THEY ARE CLAIMING TO REPRESENT FRAUDULENTLY.

This company has scammed us MULTIPLE times and we will be pursuing a full refund for both transactions of $454.99 from January 2019, $499.99 from May 2022, and $599.99 from October 2022. The local school never received ANY of the banners, coupons, or merchandise that we paid for and has no affiliation or connection to this company. This company is an absolute scam that preys on small businesses that just want to support their community. This is shameful and I hope no one else is tricked into this scam like we were.

First of all, I contacted the school I was supposed to be sponsoring. They had no idea who Campus Box Media was. After discovering this I sought to get a refund days after making the payment, keeping in mind I provided no artwork, no logo, or other media to begin the order. After weeks of no response, I got an email back telling me I will be receiving only a partial refund. No services were rendered or begun. I was never informed nor provided with their refund policy. This company is either lying about working with my local High School or extremely shady about their business, hence my refund request. They deny you a full refund for no clear reason.

This Company is BOGUS. IT IS A SCAM. They say they are the official sponsor sports promotor for the Local High School. THIS IS NOT TRUE! I have asked for a refund three different times and keep getting the run around and referred to a teacher at the Middle School.

Absolutely NONE of what they promised has happened. To Include: admission ticket advertising, Thank you banner displayed at local football and basketball game, plastic water bottles with our logo on them for handing out at games, T-shirts with our logo on them to throw at home games, Social Media shout outs, and Public Address announcement at home games. Proudly declaring our company as a sponsor. Not to mention never getting ahold of anyone via phone, and empty promises via email.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
FALSE! We ourselves and our kids were at all the home games. I would say Donna is FALSE and or the Cheer coach is a liar! "their contact". We personally were at the games and our two older kids along with their friends. Looking for any of our "******* *********** support gear" never once did we see any of it at all! NOT ONE ITEM! In fact they didn't pass ANYTHING out at the games. I'd say the cheer coach is lying if Donna actually talked to her at all. The cheer coach must be working on getting her "commission" from Campus Box. Which is our money in all reality that we have been scammed out of. Funny they have such a lack of communication at their company the woman that signed us up initially called us to see if we wanted to support the school again. I said absolutely not! She inquired with concern over what happened and I was clear, we were scammed and nothing was provided. We received no product, services, or marketing at any of the High School games. We wanted to support the school with no shout outs of any kind as well. We also reached out to the athletic director that we know well and he had never heard of Campus Box or the other companies they go by. Unfortunately we didn't ask him prior to our so called "support". Go directly to your athletic director in the future, lesson learned on our part. Donna has reached out to us one time and said she'd call us back after we were clear on the complaint. She said she'd talk to the cheer coach and call us back after talking to her to see what is going on. We haven't heard from her since ..until this response on BBB. We have been clear in asking for a FULL REFUND and have not received one to date.

We were contacted by them on June 9th to sponsor the local athletics team for the high school nearby. The original email came from **************@gmail.com.

We agreed and paid for the sponsorship. We did an initial deposit and then paid the rest over the phone.
An agent on our team went to the first home game and said that nothing was done. No tickets, no t-shirts, and no banner. My son reached out via phone and email twice with no response.

I called the athletic director of Sun Valley and he said they had no partnership with them, but they did mention that boxes of T-shirts were dropped off with our logo. We even had two t-shirts mailed to our office to make it seem like this was legit. Campus box media/Grassroots media/ whatever they are called has no agreement with the school. They will not advertise because they were never given any money for an athletic sponsorship.

I am trying to get a refund and let you know that they are illegitimate and ripping people off.

Anything you can do to help.
      Thanks,

      Dear: Dispute Resolution Department,

On behalf of Spirit Stop, I would like to address the complaint letter we received on 9/26/2022 regarding Mr. *** **** with The Ross Group at Keller Williams Select.

I have been reaching out to Mr. *** ****, I have left several messages for Mr. **** but no response back after the first conversation with him. We are issuing a full refund and would be like to reiterate we are to further insight.

We have always tried to maintain a clear line of communication between the schools we represent and our customers, however, sometimes the line of communication is misinterpreted between our staff and the customer.

We again apologize for any inconvenience to Mr. *** **** and your office.

      Sincerely,

I was contacted by ***** on 9/6/22.(did not reveal her last name). She told me that she is calling on behalf of Mt. ****** High Schools and working in partnership with **** from the Athletic department. She asked if we would support the basketball team and told me about all the incentives that included 10-12 home games, ads on cups, FB page ads and a gym banner ad. I was told it would be a total charge of $670 split into 2 payments- one on 9/6 and one on 10/6. Today, I saw a charge for the total $670 under Campus Box Media and I called them and submitted an email complaint. I then contacted Lisa at Mt. ****** athletics who told me they are not working with any organization and that she knows nothing about it. I would like my money refunded.
