Subject: Concerns Regarding Pricing Practices at RideNow Motorsports On February 22, 2025, we visited RideNow Motorsports, **************************************, to explore purchasing a used UTV. The price displayed on the vehicle was one amount, but upon receiving the official invoice from the manager/salesperson, we noticed that additional coststotaling thousands of dollarswere added for delivery, taxes, assembly, and inspections.Despite these unexpected charges, we placed a deposit of $514 on the used model to hold it while we considered other options. However, after further reflection, we decided against returning to the dealership due to concerns about their pricing transparency and business practices.We have contacted them several times now regarding the refund of our deposit and yet to get a response or refund and we are in our 3rd week of asking. We appreciate the opportunity to review and respond to this complaint with additional information. The pricing of vehicles, like other items, are subject to tax, in addition to title, licensing, and set up fees in most instances. All fees are disclosed at the time of purchase. For consumer protection and privacy, our stores do not retain credit card information on file. In order to refund a credit card, we suggest customers be present to swipe their card at our store. If that is not possible, we can complete this over the phone, but it must be the same card used for their original purchase. If a dispute with a credit card merchant provider has been filed, we would have to wait for that notice to arrive. At that time, we would have to communicate and resolve the issue further with our merchant services provider.Initial Complaint

The service department is terrible! Not a single person in service has any clue what is going on with my can am or let alone cant even get ahold of the person who is suppose to be handling my warranty claim. My machine was denied by my extended warranty company due to ridenow power sports leaving my sxs outside with the engine open and exposed to the elements. My can am x3 is left outside with an exposed engine and clutch barely covered by a small trash can size trash bag. Primary clutch is toast with surface rust and for all I know so is the engine sense it has been sitting outside wide open and getting rained on. They agreed to rebuild my clutch but its been 2 months and I still dont have the clutch. They keep coming up with excuses on whats going on with it. All of this started back prior to November of 2024. They have caused damaged to my property that was not damaged prior to them touching it as well. I purchased a new 2025 motorcycle from the Decatur TX RIDENOW POWERSPORTS in October, 24th, 2024- it is now December 18th and I have yet to receive my license plates or a title sent to my credit union with whom I financed the bike through. I have called/text twice a week for the past month asking where they are! Now my credit union is bearing down on ME wanting their title to the bike!! I have been given the runaround by every person at the dealership from the the title girl *******, salesman ******, sales manager ****** etc! I took my GL1800 in for its usual oil change and complained about 2 stuck switches. Just so happens these switches were working fine before they replaced my front fork seals back in July. I sent my vehicle in for a repair. It's been four months now. Every Three weeks they say it's done. When I get my vehicle, it's not done. Either they put old parts on my vehicle or taken parts off my vehicle that had nothing to do with my vehicle in the first place. My insurance paid them 3k to fix my vehicle. Purchased and *** salesman name ****** while signing paperwork ect. I were informed by ****** that after the first 25 hours ride on my ****************** Sports will cover the first service call today 10/11/24 to see when can I bring it to get that service and wee informed by ****** that that was not True. Spoke with Hunters boss and were informed that if I didnt sign some kinda of agreement stating that then he couldnt uphold that agreement and that the best he could do were to give me and discount of my services. As of 8/26/2024, The company has not provided a title, regestration, or plates for a motorcycle purchased on 3/19/24 for $21,000. Under Texas law, specifically the Texas Transportation Code, Section ********, a dealer is required to process the title paperwork and submit the application for title to the county tax assessor-collector's office within 30 days of the date of sale. This requirement is mandatory and is designed to protect consumers by ensuring they can register and legally operate their newly purchased vehicles without delay.
