My father and I went to Ride Now Powersports in Canton, ** to look at purchasing a 2024 Polaris Ranger EPS. It was listed on the website for $12,6xx. It was advertised as $3,000 off retail. We get there to look at it and start doing paperwork and they come back with a final price of $19,***. We have a gate card for a farm which makes it tax exempt and they had taxes included in the price. They tried to tell us the Ranger had extra parts on that they had to charge for. The only extra parts were a roof and a front and rear windshield. Those parts do not add up to $7,000 worth of charges. You can not advertise a product with the parts already on it for a specified price online and then say they have to charge for it once you get there. Very unprofessional and false advertising. Dealer fees are something that are expected but charging for add ons are wrong when the price is already listed online. The listed price should be the unit that is listed online with the additives already on it. Having a unit listed online for a specified price with the additives on it and in the pictures already should be honored by the online price. We drive 129 miles and 2 and a half hours from home to look at this machine and they tried to rip us off. I am speechless at how they tried to do business. Never again.Initial Complaint

A few months ago, I stopped by the business in question based on pricing on their website. I saw a *** I was interested in at a good price. The *** was located in the establishment and had the same price snickered on the unit. I inquired with a salesman and was ready to purchase the ***. Like car salesmen, he went to an elevated desk area and spoke to someone. He came back with a price $5000 more than the sticker. I said "no way!" He said the price did not include the "accessories," like the wheels and tires. I asked why this exact unit (same stock number) was pictured on the internet with a buy it now price $5000 cheaper. He would not answer. I wrote a review on ****** and decided to avoid that company when buying my next ***. I do not believe "bait and switch" should be allowed. If you picture a particular vehicle with added parts, the price of that build should be advertised. Ride Now contacted me through ****** and asked me to stop back by and speak to the general manager. They were sorry for the confusion and wanted a second chance. I ignored the request.I ignored the request until 3 months later I saw the same unit (same stock number) for $7000 less than the price that got me in the door the first time. I decided to give them a second chance. I stopped by and told the salesman I was the gentleman that wrote the negative review. He got the manager for me. The guy was pleasant, but again said they could not do the price advertised. Now, to add insult to injury, the unit has a placard in it saying that the unit is now priced at a cost $3000 less than the sticker on the unit (which is $5000 less than what they told me it cost). The manager said he was going to do everything he could to get the accessories reduced and get me a good deal. Two days later they came back with the same price as before. They would not even honor the discount discount on the placard.Initial Complaint

The business is now called RideNow Powersports. I bought a motorcycle ******* MT07) from there on 12/10/2022 and also purchased some aftermarket warranties tire and wheel and extended powertrain warranty. I then went back on 1/13/2023 to cancel the extended warranties as I didn't think I'll be keeping the bike much more than a couple years. Signed some paperwork to cancel the warranties and was told the money was going to be deducted from the loan. In April of 2023 I brought the bike in because the battery was dead and talked to the sales manager and general manager about the cancelation but was ensured that they would get to the bottom of it. I checked my account statements and still no money from the cancelation has been deducted. Went back again to sign the same paperwork a second time in the summertime, but nothing has come of it still and its been 10 months since my first "cancellation" with no signs of it being cancelled at all.Initial Complaint

I purchased a motorcycle on March 21, 2023. I have yet to receive title and registration for the bike. We have been given the run around and lots of untruths from the dealership employees. We were told on the day of purchase that the bike had clear title. This was not true. The bike has never been registered in the **************, the bike had a lien on it which wasn't paid off until July of this year (document attached), and their is an odometer dispute. These things we learned from the Texas ***, who we have also filed a complaint with. We have now had to purchase a temporary tag with the *** as RideNow is saying they cannot give us anymore, even though they charged us title and licensing fees. Well, it's been 7 months!! We retained a mediator to try and settle things with the dealership to no success.Initial Complaint

I bought a motorcycle from this dealer online and the experience was terrible and frustrating. Here's the following facts:I was advised that the bike have the speedometer problem only when deal was finished and bike was already in transit to my home. If I knew this situation in advance I *** would be able to walk away of the deal. They offer me to waive the shipping fee if I accept the bike as is with that condition. I had no option but to accept their proposed terms.I wasnt able to obtain a copy of the signed (both parties) copies of the deal after asking for them for weeks. Nobody (************************* (GM) nor *************************** (sales)) had the courtesy to respond to my requests. When I took the bike for a spin, the bike literally died in the middle of the ride. Broken fuel injection line was diagnosed. The bike was sold and delivered with bad tires. Its a shame that a licensed dealer delivered a bike with an 11 old years front tire and a rear tire with a split across the tread. This bike is unsafe to ride with such tires.Dealer charged $499 for lifetime battery I did not asked / agreed for. No single document supporting the supposed warranty was provided.Last, but not least, oil and fluids were old and not changed prior to delivery. All of that despite the fact of charging $795 for delivery preparation.Initial Complaint

My wife and I purchased 2 Rykers from this location which is now a RideNow in May. After purchasing the 2022 ***** Rally I didn't receive my permanent tag, so i reached out to the dealer about the issue. I attempted calling several times, but they would place me on hold and ultimately just hang up. I went to the dealership, and notified them of the poor experience contacting the dealer. After visiting the tag office, I was told the tag documentation was never done appropriately. The vehicle wasn't registered under my name yet. I had to revisit the location on three different occasions over 3 months before I received a tag. During that time I barely rode other than around my subdivision. I noticed the battery seem to die easily, but I attributed this to me not riding often. Once I received my tag i attempted to ride more frequently, but the battery still died within a day or two. I purchased a new battery, but the issue continued. I took it back to the dealership and was told it would be fixed at no cost to me. After almost 1 week with no contact, I called and was told they had contacted Can Am regarding the dead battery and VSS fault displayed because they didn't know how to fix the issue. After another week with no update I attempted to call, was placed on hold, and ultimately hung up on. I returned to the dealership, and they said it was simply a dead battery and needed to be charged. I notified them the battery in the vehicle had been replaced already with one I purchased at Autozone. Despite my objection to their diagnosis of my issue they insisted it was just a dead battery. When they pulled the ***** for me to take it home, I turned it off and back on in front of the mechanic. It started but did so with difficulty. I made one last effort to plead my case, but was told it was fixed. The mechanic then said they were not a Can Am dealer, and If the problem persist we should take it to a Can Am dealer. 2 days later the battery was dead.Initial Complaint

I had my Kawasaki Jet Ski in for service repairs. they asked for $160 for the diagnostic, no problem with that. They called me two or three times and I called them a couple. Every time we talked they wanted more $ even though they had not even diagnosed the problem, the last quote I got was going to be in excess of $1200, and still no diagnostic. Finally they said that a rope had been sucked into the water intake and they removed it. They called an said it was ready and that they wanted $320 to lake test it. I said if they hooked up the hose and ran it and all was good then there is no need for a lake test. I picked up the jetski and paid almost $600 for them to remove the rope, which would have been fine if the jetski was running properly. I took it to the lake, backed it in and started it up. immediately the engine started knocking and smoking, it was NOT doing this before they "serviced" it. I'm taking it to another shop to repair. If they tell me that damage was done by 'Ridenow' I'll hash it out with them. If the new shop says it was something else I'll remove this post. I suspect it will have to be left up here to forewarn others.Initial Complaint

I bought my Grandson a new dirt bike. We were in the showroom about four hours waiting. When they finally got to us we were rushed out. This was a $2500 bike and I paid $1000 down. When I called to make my first payment, I found out I had a remaining balance of OVER $5000. My son and I went back in the store and pitched a fit, we were guaranteed the total would be down to $2500 or so after they took off a few things. I was told with the next bill I'd see the difference. Well, this was February. It is now August. I have called Freedom, I have called ************** No one will take responsibility. They each blame the other. What an unprofessional way to run a business. I'll never buy from them again and I've shared my experience and will continue to do so.Business Response
