    I think True Auto has been great, Especially in my area of dealing with the issues I had with my car they were very helpful and I am glad a member with them..Their customer service was great..

    I have a 2008 ***** Suburban which I bought new and was worried a couple of years ago that something would need repairing since it was getting so old. Right before we were to take a trip the A/C went so I took it to the local ***** dealership to get that repaired. The estimate for the repair was approximately $1500 but with warranty that I purchased from True Auto I paid $100 and True Auto paid the balance. I was happy with the ease the whole process with True Auto was handled.

    I purchased the policy by mistake. I ended up with two. My partner get's to looking and I have two different policies. We get the handbook from the company and it says that we must cancel the policy in writing within 15 days. Have to love fine print. I type up a cancel letter and send it certified mail. They receive the cancel letter on the 6th of March. Someone at their office had to sign for this. They bill me again on the 21st of March. They said they tried calling me twice on the 14th of March stating they were getting a busy signal each time. This is a cell phone with call waiting, so I find this really hard to believe but by their own admission they never tried calling back again. I followed their rules sending the cancel in writing showing they received it 15 days before next due date. They signed for it as I stated before to find out they billed me yet again on the 21st of March. I guess they don't care about their own policy and think that because they didn't talk to me on the phone they have to right to bill me again. I feel they owe me the money, but I will probably never see it again. I am saying avoid this company at all costs.

    ******, if you mailed in a cancellation letter within 15 days of date of purchase, you will be owed a refund. The busy signal issue could simply be that the agent mis-typed your phone number in, as I know that my agents do reach out to people once a letter is received. Please send an email to ******************************** with you policy number and I will personally look into what happened. Any time an account is even opened in our system, it tracks it, so I will be able to go over what happened and help you out.

    ******, I got your information in the email you sent. Your policy was purchased in 9/19/22 and your cancellation letter was sent on 3/2/23 and received on 3/6/23. This was way over 30 days. I do however agree that it should have been cancelled once the letter was received, even if they were not able to get ahold of you, so we will refund you the March payment that was taken out on 3/20/23.

    They are bad to deal with they do not pay enough on claims they have e a cap on what they such as the cap on a 460 lexus is ****.oo small amount I would not recommend them to anyone

    *****, the level of coverage you have is selected when you purchase your policy. I just say a claims payment for $4500 come through today, and I have seen claims over that amount. If you purchase a lower policy the limits of liability are lower, but so are the monthly payments, which is why people choose cheaper policies. I am sorry that you don't think $2200 was enough, I would recommend reading through you t's and c's on the next policy you purchase, so you are aware of your limits ahead of time.
