    **************, I apologize that we did not meet your expectations. As you know, you had major damage to your vehicle and due to it's severity it is not a basic claim to process. Also, you chose to use a shop that you told us on 8/15/2023 that you did not have a good experience with, possibly some on the collaboration issues you refer to is not all our fault... The claim you are referring to was created on 6/18/2024, it took a couple of days to receive the service records from you/your shop and then needed an unbiased 3rd party inspection, your claim was approved on 7/2/2024. From there, your shop repaired your vehicle and I mailed out a check on 7/25/2024 for $3607.56 to the repair facility. Over the life of your policy on your vehicle, we have paid out roughly $6700.00, again, I apologize that we did not meet your expectations.

    I get mail about auto warranty expiring & needing to call to update it. I'm already covered. The envelope/letter never have a return address listed & the company name is only seen in fine print at the bottom of the letter. They claim "your auto warranty may be expiring or may have already expired" and " Our records indicate you have not contacted us to update your warranty policy. Call us immediately to ensure there is nor further lapse in coverage" before providing only a phone number as a point of contact. The back of the letter provides options to opt out but complaints from others state they still receive letters after requesting to opt out. This company's misleading word choice & lack of transparency tricks/scares people into thinking they need to act immediately for coverage regardless of whether or not they are already covered. In their response to a BBB complaint regarding their deceptive business practices through mail, they said "Our mailers language have been approved by compliance lawyers in the states. The first sentence states, "...that your Auto Warranty may be expiring or may have already expired." - this is not a deceptive statement, as in most cases is true. we receive is for customers who MFR or Extended Warranty has expired is coming close to expiration. This language does not state anything about you having a warranty previously with us". They say they can get away with what they do, regardless of how deceptive, because it's approved by "compliance ******** ******* letter says "your warranty may be expiring or may have already expired" & "in most cases" this "is true". In my case, and the case of many others reviews/complaints, this is not true. How does True Auto know whether or not our warranty is expiring if our warranty is not with them? How do their records indicate that we have not contacted them to "update" our warranty policy if we don't have a policy in place to update with them in the first place?

    Hello **************, your car dealership, where you get your oil changed, vehicle insurance share your vehicle information. That is how you get on a marketing list. We never state that you had a warranty with us previously. Given the year of your vehicle, one can deduce that your manufacture warranty has or is soon to expire. When you contact us and inform us that you in fact do have a warranty, we can update our information. It is that simple, no one is trying to trick anyone. We have loyal policy holders and pay claims for them. The opt-out on the notice is the number for the **** similar to the do not contact list. From our understanding, once you are on that list, you should be opted out of pre-screened data and we should not receive your information any longer. Have a wonderful day.

    First I would like to state my day was FULL pf challenge's. From family issues to lastly my car. Once I got connected to who or where I should call to find out how to handle my car issue I spoke to a gentleman name ***. When I tell you he was just AMAZING. He was very personable and very professional at the same time. He went above a d beyond with making sure I understood what needed to be done and how it should be done. I was so Thankful he answer the call. He was Truly a God send.
