      I had m knecklace pawned there about 3 times and take it out twice this last time I lost the ticket and couldn't remember the date it was due so when I went in of course it was already put out for sale so I had to buy it back for double the amount they pawned it to me for which is fine as long as I could get my knecklace back so I did a buy back didn't have the whole amount so they put it on layaway for me so a month goes by I go make the payment and another month goes by I totally forget about the payment which was due on July 4th 2022 and I went in to the **** shop on July 16th 2022 and they told me that they couldn't find any layaway under my id so we figured maybe we did it under my wife's I'd so they check and they say no not on her I'd either then the assistant manager tells me what kind of knecklace was it so I tell her and she says oh yeah it says here that ur layaway was forfeited and the 174 dollars that we payed went to a 33% restocking fee and that the knecklace had been sold already aswell so I couldn't do anything about it and said have a nice day she didn't even give me a chance to ask any questions or anything so iam basically out my knecklace and the money I spent on the layaway and I get nothing and I don't think that it's right at all I feel like these people straight up robbed me like for real I feel so angry that I can't do anything about my knecklace that has sentimental value to me and now it's gone like who gives these people the right to do these things I read on a policy that the customer has 15 days after the date the payment is due before it cancels and also that it's a 20% percent restocking fee if it cancels by itself and it's 30% if it is forfeited by the customer and I did not forfeit anything so why am I being charged the 33% percent and not given anything back not even store credit or anything

      The customer entered into a layaway contract on 5/5/2022 and only made 1 payment on 6/4/2022.   The customer did not make any additional payments on the layaway and the item forfeited for nonpayment per the layaway agreement.
