CASH AMERICA PAWN location: ************************************************** Date: 6/7/2025 I got my PlayStation 4 out of loan with them When I got the loan there was PS4 system, 2 remotes , remote charger cable, HDMI cable , power ******** why is it that when I payed my loan off and got the system back they didn't give me any of my cables back witch is kind of pointless to even give me the system if ur gonna jack me for the cables. I told the manager they never gave them back she said she checked the cameras and seen the cables in the bag they gave me lmmfao ( how can u see cables inside of a dark colored bag that has been double tied) smfh fact of matter is if u seen inside the bag then u would of known that y'all jack me for my s*** I am beyond ****** off I have been dealing with this since sat 6/7/25 and it is now 6/9/25 and I still don't have the cables that I gave them with the system (THIS IS UNEXCEPTIONABLE) How is it ok for them to steal from their customers but if I was to steal something from them they would send my a** to jail I'm sorry but this is some ******** at its finest (THIS COMPANY IS A THIEF AND WILL GET DOWN ON U GRANTED) 100% ************* THAT NEEDS TO BE (SUED)Business Response

On the 1st day of June in the 2025 year , me and my mother arrive to Cash America Pawn around 1:00pm CST and we encountered as distracted , disrespectful, inpatient employee addressing us with such animosity as if we were interrupting his text messaging or on his actual phone so it seemed as if we were annoying him , so I need him to be handled accordingly being that I have no control over the employees or how the workspace is taken place e but please help me with this issue and Im sure Im not the only one who has undergone this type of energy and invite into cash America pawnBusiness Response

We went to This Cash America pawn. It was 10 minutes to close my husband bought a Playstation 5 controller cost over 50 dollars. Yes they offered a warranty but he had no extra money for a warranty. When we got home we tried the controller and it was broken. Controller drift very bad!!! I called as soon As the store opened at 10AM on the dot. Letting them know they sold us a broken controller!!! I have never bought anything that didn't at least have a 24 hr return/ Exchange policy!!! The woman absolutely refused to make it right because we didn't pay extra (for an already over priced item!!!) For a warranty!!! I have done business with this company for many years. On 08/16/2023 I **** my S Diamond 14K LYG 16 30.3 Necklace. Amount Finaned $1200 with a **** Charge of $180. I faithfully each month paid the Finance Charge to get to the point on 03/25/25 I had Mr. ******* lookup my transaction to make sure everything was alright. He told me I was fine and my Necklace was good until April 12, 2025. On April 12, I was told that my Necklace was pulled on April 11. And I needed to pay $546.00. The $180 they could not accept or paid to redeem $1746.00. THEY LIED the manager **** said and if you cant put it on Layaway it will $6499.98 since its yours $2280.90 plus tax. Payment due every month. 05/12/25 $342.00, 06/11/2025 $342.00. 07/11/2025 $342.09, 08/10/2025, 09/09/2025 $342.00 and 10/09/2025 $499.00. The Layaway total $2439.60. I was a loyal customer since 2016. This was totally wrong and nasty they really tried to keep my Necklace after telling me it was alright and I did not have to worry about it. I was told over the years that if anything happened and I was unable to make a payment they would work with me. REALLY LIES I would never do business with them ever again.Business Response

I bought a laptop with cash. I was told I could bring it back if there were any issues which there was. The battery is no good. Won't hold a charge. I called and they said even without receipt I could return it. Then they said I didn't buy warranty which I remember telling them I'd pay for it at time of purchase. DO NOT BUY A COMPUTER FROM THEM! ITLL BE USELESS. I went in on April 7 and spoke to a man about a Mac mini. I was going to buy it completely out right with cash and had cash in hand when I went in. I asked him if I could see it turn on and test it. He connected it, it turned on and everything. However. There was two other accounts logged in and it was LOCKED which means the computer was useless. I said they shouldve checked that because clearly it was locked and had other accounts on it and the manager proceeded to say accidents happen and got completely rude with me. And told me its AS IS which means I wouldve been out my money. If its accidents happen they need to let people return things IF ITS THEIR FAULT!! Then proceeded to put the computer back on the shelf to try and sell it to someone else. They knew it was locked and tried to sell it. This is a huge scam.Business Response

When dealing in used products there are times that things get missed or overlooked, We were not trying to sell a locked computer. We missed that it was locked, We worked with the customer for about an hour trying to fix the mistake and be able to sell the computer to him. We did get one of the accounts off but are trying to get in touch with the seller of the item to get the password removed. We do offer a 15 or 30 day POM that he could have paid for to be able to return with in that amount of time. We could have also offered if we get another one in the store to call him, but he was mad and unwilling to work with us at that point. He walked out of the store after that telling us that we were stupid for letting a mistake get past us.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:this was incorrect I was told immediately when I asked that I couldnt take back any product that I bought and was NEVER told that I could purchase anything to do so. And immediately after they put the item back to try and sell it again. It was also obvious there were multiple accounts on the computer so it shouldnt have been missed and honestly believe it was on purpose to sell it which was why it was so low to scam a customer. A new account was made under ********************** name to make it seem like the account wasnt on it but when doing so it tells you its locked when creating a new account so what the business said was false and not true they knew the issue and kept trying to sell it even after. And as they write this and say the password is still on it, the time is still on shelf trying to be sold because I seen it sitting there still and talked to another associate to see if it was removed after being told that yes it was still for sell and was told it was, upon checking again it was still there so I was lied to yet again about it from another associate after asking.
they sell computers that are locked and most likely was stolen which is why they cant get it unlocked. Dont trust this place

Today 3/17/2025 I came in to Cash America #**** ************************************************** to complete the purchase of boxlink necklace 10 k lyg 30 90.4 Grms.I payed a total of *******. I have bought from this location multiple times. I have never had this issue before. But today I went to resale my gold at ARA Gold, that purchased from your location. I was given the item back because it was fake! I dont understand how this happened. ARA gold has video evidence of this happening as I have pictures as well. I need this resolved, I spoke to the location manager and was told to reach out to you. I expect my money back. And need to know what will be done for this not to happen again. I went to this establishment in ********, ** on 03/07/2025, to purchase another wedding ring because my ring was stolen. The Caucasian sales women help me. I ask to view some rings she act like she needed to see my ID first before I can view jewelry. She only allowed me to view it briefly . The ring I purchase writing was very faint on the inside of the ring. So, I ask the sales women or you sure this ring is real she said yes. The ring was a little big so I told her I would need to get it size . She told me oh if you get it size you cant get the warranty . So I said well as long as its real I dont need warranty . The receipt says the ring was a 10 k diamond ring. I took the ring to *** jewelry and they inform me the ring was cubic zirconia. This company has a no return on there jewelry unless you purchase warranty and I know now its because they sale people fake jewelry. I am a hard working wife and mother who simply wanted to replace my wedding ring and you sale me a fake ring . This is morally and ethically wrong.Business Response

My boyfriend pawned his PlayStation and went monthly to the **** shop to make payments to extend the time he had to pay the balance of his PlayStation. Today, we went to get his PlayStation out and they said that the PlayStation was forfeited in January. This should not have been the case as he was under the impression that his payments he was making were going towards the PlayStation he pawned.Business Response
