    We ordered a 4 ******* from moto buys on Nov 27, 2024 for our grandson. We received it in time for Christmas. He rode it on the 26th of Dec and the 27th it completely would not start. We charged it had pros over to test it it just won't work. We called customer service and had to leave a message. They asked to please email but we have to wait for it to be reviewed for 2-3 days This is a horrific policy not to respond to a buyer when it was for Christmas. No response at all. We want our money back as they are not the kind of Business we want to ever deal with again. What a sad, disappointed 9 year old at Christmas.

We purchased one and then I filled out paperwork on your Website for either a new battery or refund of the price of battery.     I bought a mini motorcycle online on 3/5 & purchased a 6 month warranty for additional cost. The bike was delivered 3/25. It has been broken down since first week of September. We took it to a *********** stated it needs a new motor. The company refuses to send me a part without returning the bike to the shop for a picture of the motor. I attached the receipt from Moped U repair shop stating the motor has oil all over half the motor. The bike is no longer running & needs a new motor with less than 2000 miles & 6 months or less. I want a refund or a repair

    Customer is refusing to cooperate with our mechanic, to confirm that the engine, does in fact need to be replaced.

    Please send the diagnostic report to *****************************************************************,since the vehicle has been to a repair shop so we may further assist. If our mechanic can confirm that the engine is the issue, then we can request a new one from the manufacturer, but we need to provide proof before making the request.

It has the name **** ********* because that's my boyfriend who hauled the bike in. The could have contacted the shop at any time if more info was needed.     My children's grandmother, *************************, purchased a youth atv for them last Christmas. Upon receiving the equipment it immediately displayed issues cosmetic and functionality. It would not start to begin with and after trouble shooting with their customer care department got it to start but would still turn off if left to idle, they suggested and sent me a new carburetor which I them installed. They did send me the broken plastic pieces that were just a cosmetic issue with the carburetor. After all this time it still gives me issues and have been trying to call and set appointments but no one will answer or return my calls or appointment request. She purchased two small go-karts 2 years prior to that and they had quite a bit of issues with and I told ****** not to purchase from this company anymore but she did anyway. I not sure what more I can do as a consumer and they seem very unwilling to offer any assistance in resolving these issues.

    I am rejecting this response because:   as stated previously I have attempted to reach out to tech support but I get no answer nor response to appointments that I have requested for troubleshooting. It shouldn't matter but this equipment is not even a year old yet with probably less than 50 hours of operation time and also I reported issues the first day that I received the unit. At first I did receive assistance to get it running but after just a short run it was still displaying these issues. After not being contacted back I actually did take to a local mechanic who stated the head gasket was blown and machine was poorly assembled, all of which was paid out of pocket.

    Hello,
    After looking into your complaint, we saw that the $39 Liftgate and $39 Dealer Endorsed MCO were options that you selected when placing your order online.

    Secondly, no warranty can be added after the order has been placed, we do not offer extended warranties after the fact. You currently have a Free 3-Months Warranty that expires in 09/2024.

    Lastly, the warranty does not cover rims or tires, unless it is reported as Shipping Damage within 7 days of receiving the unit. The last email we received from you was on 5/23/2024, 2 weeks prior to your vehicle being shipped, but we never received an email for a rim/tire due to Shipping Damage.

    If you did send an email, please forward it to ******************************** so we may further assist.

    Motobuys sold me a dirtbike where the title of the product specifically states that it has a 14" front wheel and therefor a 12" rear wheel, which is why I purchased it.The bike ended up being exactly what I didn't want, a 17/ 14 wheel sized dirtbike contrary to their title.The title of their product still hasn't been ********** first they called me and said that they would seek resolution but they have now said that according to their warranty and return policy they will do nothing for me.

    Regarding the policies that you agreed to when placing your order, it states that "No refunds, full or partial will be issued for a product change instituted by the factory.  ************************** attempts to keep the newest pictures and specifications on the site.  Exact colors, graphics package, rim styles, lights, mirrors, tire treads all change from time to time."

    However, after speaking with my mechanic and the manufacturer, they did advise me that bigger tires and wheels, like the ones that you received, are actually more stable and easier to move for safety. 
    For this reason, if you would still like to purchase the 14" Front Wheel/Tire and 12" Rear Wheel/Tire, we can go ahead and request a quote from the manufacturer.  Also, I will attach the policies in a separate email for your records.

    Motobuys states that I agreed to their policies when I placed my order agreeing that they would not give refunds full or partial for a product change instituted by the factory-

     

    That is HILLARIOUS considering that there were no product changes instituted by the factory. The purchased bike was from 2022, it is 2 years old. The model NEVER had a 14" front wheel, motobuys is simply selling products without knowing what they are or caring to give correct information.

     

    NOT ONLY did motobuys not provide the bike i was provided but they have yet to update the title of the product to this day and I also informed them about other misrepresented products on their website that they STILL have not changed. 

     

    The difference between a 14" front wheel and a 17" front wheel might seem minor to someone who doesn't understand the industry but these differences in tires are part of an ENTIRE product change, with 14/12 setups having totally different frames and suspension being crf50 size based and thr 17/14 size being crf110 size based. It's an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT BIKE.

     

    So not only did Motobuys not sell me AT ALL what was advertised, but they dint know the difference between their own products, they don't honor their own policies AND they don't even care enough to update their products in the process of this dispute to sell the right product to other customers.

    THEN they have the AUDACITY to try to tell me why different wheels might be better and expect me to make another purchase from them?

    That is so silly it is laughable. I will be purchasing more pitbikes and gokarts in the future but there is absolutely no chance that Motobuys will see any money from me, they are incompetent thieves.

    That is beyond incompetence, they are thieves, equated mislabeled an entire product to something as ***** as a color change or graphics change.

    All the information provided was agreed to, at the time of purchase. If the the manufacturer produces certain parts of their vehicles differently, they will only provide those parts. The rims/tires on your vehicle, are the upgraded versions that the manufacturer now produces their vehicles with. The Front Rim vs. Rear Rim is different and so is the tire, this is why they will only be able to send you the stock parts that they produce for the vehicle now.

    No, not all the information provided was agreed to. Your title states that the bike is a 14/ 12 and it is not a 14/1, it is a 17/13. It has never been a 14/12, the manufacture never made this bike as a 14/12, and YOU mislabeled and misrepresented YOUR product. The 17/14 wheels are NOT an upgrade to their existing product, it represents and ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PRODUCT.

    None of this has anything to do with what the manufacture did or didn't provide or product, it has everything to do with you misrepresenting the product that you sold due to incompetence.

    On June 3rd I informed motobuys that my rear axle was making a grinding noise which was still under warranty. I talked to guy named ******* who assured me, everything would be taken care of. Initial communication went OK with emails and phone calls. Then all of the sudden he stopped answering my emails and phone calls. All I want is my rear axle for my trike because it is my primary transportation to my doctors appointment for my stage four cancer. it is now July 22 and no response to my emails and phone calls have been given. I I have all the emails confirming this. Any help in resolving this dilemma would be greatly appreciated.

    I have sent multiple emails and left multiple voicemails for the manager and the technician. i have even scheduled tech appointments and have no one contact me during set time. I have contacted the president of the company *****, by leaving him a voicemail about manager ****** and technician ***. This company does not answer voicemails or emails and it is impossible to get intouch with anyone. I placed this an order 2 months ago and the bike I ordered has not ran since day 1. We took the bike to the local dealer as instructed by motobuys for them to diagnose the problem. The place we took it to deemed it unrepairable.I have since been trying to get intouch again with the company about how to return the bike for a full refund. I purchased this bike May 2024 and 2 months later still cant get it resolved. I really do not want to have to hire an attorney because i do not have the money. I am a single mom and this was a graduation present for my son and this whole experience has been a nightmare. I need someone to contact me asap at ************ with instructions for returning the bike.

    We bought the dirt bike in November for a Christmas present. When we got the bike it wouldnt run. The company sent us a carbarartor and said we would need to change it. We hired a mechanic to do that. It still wouldnt run. Motobuys said to change the ignition coil we did that. It still wouldnt run. They said they would approve a refund and send it back. It took until May for them to finally approve it. We sent it back and recieved a partial refund of 150. I emailed them and asked why we didnt recieve a full refund. They said because they were able to fix it by changing the carbarator. I emailed them and said why is it our fault you mailed us a faulty carbarartor. So this company is selling damaged bikes and sending damged replacement equipment. Then whe a customer sends the bike back they resale and make a profit of the original sale and then sale it a full price again. It is a complete scam and we should at the very least get out full refund which would be another $350

    I purchased the vehicle and ball hitch falls off. A week later the muffler tears so I had it rewelded n that that.occurred 3 more times. fter owning the vehicle for 7 weeks it begins starting issues come to find the carburetor is faulty.     On February 23, 2024 I purchased the *** ****** it was delivered to my home, but was a 2 wheeled *********** was under the impression it was three; so I paid for n exchange. The scooter arrived a month later. n first day the trailer ball fell off n they replaced that free of charge. After a couple weeks the muffler n the mount broke so I had that welded, aweek after that the muffler broke in another spot, this happened one more time. Two weeks after that it began hard starts n then would not start. I called n said they replace the carburetor but not labor. I paid additional $500 as warranty. It has been over a month since n still I have yet to receive the carburetor. Thank u for attention. Sincerely *******************

    Bought a trike from ************************** after receiving the trike and assembling it - it has some issues. Needs a new axle and the speedometer/odometer doesn't work. Talked to the technician by phone for support (7-3-2024) he said they would ship out parts and send confirmation email. Due to holiday it would be a day or 2 later. I have called 3 times (1 time per day) and left 4 emails about it. The only live person you can speak to is a person in sales who will transfer you but no one can tell me if the replacement parts have been shipped or not. The scooter is useless since axle is broke (sent in video and he confirmed it is a bad axle) and speedometer doesn't work. This has now been over 1 week and still no word on parts. Due to the lack of communication and almost non existant customer service is why I'm filing a complaint. I even told the sales person on the phone I would like someone to tell me something or I want a refund. Spent $2,488 on a scooter that doesn't work at all. It feels as if they have enough people for sales to take your money but if there is any problem you can not get a hold of anyone. Never made a complaint on BBB before and this is the first time because that is alot of money spent on something that is defective and useless. I'm asking for help in this matter to get it resolved.

    In addition, the year on the scooter says manufactured in July of 2022 but this is 2024 - that's 2 years ago. I would have thought it would have been a new scooter. I realize it hasn't been "used". However, when I choose this scooter for my father-in-law who is 86 we all was under the impression that it is a brand new scooter. Not stored for 2 years and then sold. I have attached pictures of the *** and picture of battery which says *******. The purpose of buying new vs finding a used one is so he didn't have to worry about anything. That should have been clearly noted on the site. For example, if we went to a car lot and purchased a vehicle from 2022 it wouldn't be classified as new.

    I am rejecting this response because: Yes, some of the parts were sent. I'm attaching screenshots of *** confirmation photo and a clearer photo I took of the shipping damage. Not only was the axle wrapped in thinner bubble wrap but it was damaged. I'm attaching another photo where you can see it is not straight. It is warped to where it makes a loud sound and the brakes move (yes the bolts are on tight) There was also supposed to be a speedometer assembly but it only came with the speedometer gear which the part number is pst150-17. The bike I bought is a 50cc not a 150cc. It took about a month from my technician appointment to get to me and then to find out 2 out of the 3 parts where sent. The biggest of them all is now the rotor is damaged from shipping which is attached to the axle itself. Then the other part was for a different bike than what I bought and the speedometer assembly wasn't included. This has been the worst experience and now I have a bike in my garage that is a very expensive decorating piece because it still is not right. Spent $2,488 on something that doesn't work right. Overall, I will not buy from Motobuys again due to this entire hassle and the lack of genuine help to try and get what I paid for corrected.
