      Worst experience with on-line purchase!!Will never purchase from them again. Purchased controller for Christmas gift, which I don't know anything about them. They shipped a regular controller NOT the Edge I ordered and paid for, but would not correct their error. PayPal finally got my money back.

      Employee added warranty to my purchase without my knowledge. When I reviewed my receipt I saw the charge and disputed it. The employee ***** said he cannot refund the warranty but gave me the number to customer service. Employee told me his name is ******, found associate name on receipt. It was an invalid number. When I pressed for customer service number I called. **************** confirmed the refund could be processed in the store. I asked the employee for the name of the store mgr and/or district mgr. employee refused to provide. When I pressed further, employee called his store mgr and proceeded the refund. The store number is 3751 located at *********************. Employee lied multiple times and gave misinformation. Employee is rated based on selling warranty. This is an illegal practice. Ethics of this employee should be reviewed by location manager. What a terrible experience and waste of my time. Employee could have solved his mistake easily by processing the refund for adding the extra warranty. Not right game stop.

      Ive been a loyal customer of ********************** for well over a decade - a majority of my life. But after having numerous issues with them these past few years, coupled with the implementation of very anti-consumer policies and sketchy practices, I will not spend a single cent with this business again. GameStop had been the staple of my childhood. It really hurts that I no longer feel near as valued

      They list products they don't even have on their website with lower prices than anyone else. Once you buy it, it will say "awaiting product availability" and will never ship. Their customer service is completely useless and every time you reply to their message, you get an entirely new person who doesn't bother reading the original message.They have several Geforce RTX 4090 cards shown with unrealistic prices. I can only assume they are trying to drive traffic to the website to make it look like people actually shop there.

      I have had a Game Informer subscription for the past 20 years. For the first time ever, when I renewed my Game Stop Pro account, they told me I had to switch from physical subscription of the magazine to digital. I did not want to do this, but they told me physical no longer existed. The digital option does not work though. Game Informer has no record of me having a subscription, but Game Stop already has my money. I called Game Stop, and they could not honestly know less about their own business, which makes sense considering kids run their stores. Game Stop said they can't refund me since its the magazines problem, and Game Informer has yet to help. I've called their customer service the past 4 days in a row, and they keep telling me they're "updating my account" and it should work within 24 hours...the odd thing is, they never ask for my credentials...so what account are you updating? I fear I have paid for something I'll never have access to, and after **************************************************** as a customer. It makes sense why ********************** is going out of business.

      I pre-ordered a game attempted to pick up within the 48 hour window per Gamestops own policy. I was called and confirmed there would be a copy of the game for me unfortunately the associate sold it to someone else within that period of time. Gamestops managers have failed to provide me with a solution, Corporate phone number does nothing but give you customer service warehouse or multi tiered managers who have no power to make anything happen. Poor experience start to finish.

      I ordered a playstation portal from gamestop.com it was in stock, order was placed on 3-22-24, got confirmation then on 3-23-24 received track number and it was awaiting pick up from ***** with weight and dimensions and would be delivered on 3-27-24, it's 3-28-24 order still hasn't been picked up by *****, I called gamestop customer service they confirmed it hasn't been picked up then proceeded to say it was lost in shipping then told me they can't do nothing about it until after April 5th and that I would need to call after that. So I got of the phone with them and called ***** this morning 3-28-24 they confirmed the label was created but no pickup was submitted even those gamestop states its waiting for pick up, I filed a complaint with *****, a lady from ***** called me this afternoon and ***** is starting a investigation into gamestop because on 3-23-24 gamestop created 5500 shipping labels from the same location same weight same dimensions. ***** is claiming gamestop oversold there stock and prolly only had a few dozen units, and created the labels to keep people's hope that is a delayed in shipping, when the units weren't even really available. ***** stated a competitor file a lawsuit against gamestop for the same thing. So basically I've you ordered a portal you ordered nothing but gamestop got your money. Really ***** my Son wanted one for his bday next week and gamestop scammed me. I'll never order online or shop in store at gamestop.

      I ordered 4 blaster boxes of Donruss football 2023. They sent it in 2 shipments of 2 blasters. The first 2 blasters I received with no issue. The 2nd set of 2 showed up 2 days later. When I opened the box I found one box of 2023 panini prestige football and one of 2022 panini chronicles football. These are each worth 50% or so of the donruss I ordered on the secondary market. I contacted support 5 times and over the course of these conversations I received 2 emails apologizing for the mistake, but they could not do anything for me since trading cards are not returnable. I have a complete video of the opening of the box as I do this for all trading cards I order (I do a lot of this and GameStop has never been an issue). I offered to send this to them if they had a site that could support the large size, but they had no interest in seeing it. It is less than $50 so it isnt about the amount at all, but knowing they can send someone any trading card product they want in place of what you ordered and ***************** behind a no return policy absolutely blows my mind. I have spent $1000s this year alone with them and they have forever lost a customer due to this absolutely ridiculous conduct. DO NOT buy any cards from them online just buy what they have in-stock in person or you are taking a major risk. I have had single orders over $300 and am very thankful they didnt choose those times to scam me.

      Tried to purchase a game for my son. **** awhile got his hopes up just to have cashier take the game and tell my son oops, we're currently out of stock of this game. So we repeat the process again and my son picks another game. We took game home and there was no game I'm the case. My seven year old son is almost beside himself at this point. It was his first game for his new Xbox. We drive back and I tell the clerk. The manager takes the case from him and looks at me like I'm an idiot and tells me that the digital codes are in the case. She tries to hand it back to me and send us on our way. I explain that digital games can't claimed by multiple accounts. She gives it back to the first clerk and walks away. I ask the clerk to order the game and I will pick it up. He says he can but I have to pay shipping and handling to have it shipped to the store for.puck up!!! I asked for a refund.Also, I purchased a new controller with the game so we could play together.
