My entire apartment needs complete renovations. It is horrible. They did not allow me to look at the apartment before move in so I trusted that it would look exactly as displayed on the side. Ive been without a C for five days. No one has come to check it out everything is wrong with my apartment. I cannot believe I gave This a chance. I will never do this again. This entire complex needs to be torn down and rebuilt.

This apartment complex called the aspire apartments in ****************, ******** use to be a nice place until this new management company called asset living took over in March of 2025 .Needless to say they have two sets of rules they live by one for the ones that have lived on this property for years on end and a second set for the illegal immigrants who either just moved in on this property or have lived here for a year or two. Having filed many complaints in reference to the illegal immigrants on property the management does not care that this community is being destroyed completely . One such illegal immigrant caused our apartment to be over run with roaches that came from a couch that has been left on his patio and many bags of trash that were left for weeks on end the management only cited the resident $50 for the trash . We I informed the management about the roaches not once but twice the management claims that they do not have a contracted extermination company as of yet and until they do there is nothing that can be done so we are left fighting with these nasty things until they can get a company on board this is really bad that people have to deal with this. The property has two sets of laundry rooms the one in our building has only one working washer and three dryers we have told the management and yet nothing gets done by management we are fed up with this nonsense something needs to get done and soon.

Absolutely the worst management company I have ever come across. Have zero care for anyone other than themselves, residents mean nothing and their promises are worthless . DO NOT LIVE in any property managed by Asset Living in ******** Texas STAY AWAY from The Rio but do not trust any property tied to Asset Living!

This company is absolutely terrible and clearly doesnt care about its tenants. Ive been living in my apartment since 2015, and the current property manager who also lives on-site came to my apartment around 8:30 PM. He accused my son of being disrespectful, told me I needed to be a better mother, and said he wasnt my babysitter. I could smell alcohol on him, so it was clear he had been drinking. He even used racial slurs toward the kids and insulted one childs mother. I reported the incident to corporate and spoke with ***** *****, who initially acted concerned and claimed she was taking notes, saying she needed to reach out to ****. However, since March 10, 2025, I havent heard anything back no apology, no update, nothing.

I lived at one of their properties called The Taylor in Marietta, GA for 3 years and never gave that office any problems. I also left a review on Google for the apartment directly because I had issues while I was there. Now the issue I’m having with this management company is I moved out on August 5 and still haven’t gotten my deposit refund. I spoke with the leasing office every week for 3 months and got nowhere with them so I thought reaching out to the management company would help, WRONG! Ive contacted them using the “contact us” box on their website. I’ve called and left messages on 5 different peoples voicemails including the president over the property and sent him an email. All of which went unanswered. I’ve given them ample time and opportunity to make this right and no one has contacted me so I’m having to sue these people for my money. Spare yourself the headache because you see how they did somebody that never bothered them for 3 years. If you see a property is managed by this company do yourself a favor and move round.

I am currently living at Kingsland Park Complex located at: 23420 Kingsland Blvd Katy, TX 77494. This property is managed by Asset Living in Houston, Texas. I have lived at Kingsland Park for the last 5 months now. The property is beautiful, but management is is horrible. And the beauty of the property is overshadowed by the lack of care and attention to the myriad of concerns from the residents that actually abide by lease terms/conditions and are responsible, Please note that this is a 55+ community and most of the residents are under the Assisting Living Program. This has been the worst experience I have ever had renting in a property that advertises as luxurious. We are having an ongoing issues like, community washers and dryers are out of service since i moved to this property 5 months ago. I live in the 4th Floor and the elevator that goes close to my appartement has been out of service since 10/31/2024. Again, many of the residents have disability's, some are in walkers, wheel chairs, some have amputations. it really breaks my heart to see that management don't listen to our numerous complaints. The gates are for the most part broken, anybody can come and go without restrictions. We have an infestation of roaches. The last time I went to the management office to find out the progress in these issues, the Leasing Agent and I got in an argument, we both raise our tone of voice, at the end, this person told me to fxxx out of her office. 15 minutes later a got a Notice to evacuate giving me 1 month to leave.
Immediately I contacted my lawyer since this is a case of retaliation.
The pain and suffering that i am suffering is above and beyond words.
If you are looking to rent at this or other property managed by Asset Living, please look elsewhere.

Take it from a current resident that has engaged a legal team, Asset Living/The Richfield Apartments in Aurora, CO completely deserve an "F"/ZERO stars/the bottom of the barrel rating when it comes to:
      1) Timely response to emails, phone calls and any maintenance issue
      2) Amenities (operable mailboxes, clean common areas, effective services that residents are being charged for monthly such as pest control and round the clock onsite security) are a joke and a true disservice to residents paying for these overly priced "homes" (sarcasm!)). I have posted the following photos on Yelp, if you're interested:
      A) Dishwasher and rodent's entry point in the unit when I moved to the property in July, 2024, after waiting until after their requested timing of 3PM because maintenance was SUPPOSEDLY finishing up getting the unit ready for my move-in!!!
      B) Condition of the mailbox area and residents' individual mailboxes, as of late September 2024!!
      3) Asset Living staff is rude, unprofessional and do nothing but make excuses as to why nothing is being done IF you can get them to respond at all
      4) Every month, I am forced to conduct my own audit of the property's erroneous billings and demand that their recordkeeping be corrected in order to pay. Most recently, they have attempted to extract fees for previous month's bills paid in full to the previous owners.
      5) As of 11/2/2024, every number listed for this property is either non-working, out of service, or doesn't allow messages due to voicemails not being set up. What LEGITIMATE business does not have a WORKING telephone number??

It's clear that Asset Living prioritizes collecting as much $$$$ as possible over providing genuine service levels aligned to the overly priced slums that they own/operate.

I am further baffled as to WHY the City of Aurora's Code Compliance Department has done nothing about the people who are collecting rents/bills but doing nothing to correct uninhabitable conditions regularly.

      Horrible experience.
The management / leasing office has trouble keeping their promises and I’m constantly having problems with the amount I owe. It keeps changing every month. They’re not honest, they have new leasing managers every month (I’ve talked with 5 people IN PERSON in 45 days).
I was told TWICE that I owed two different amounts AFTER paying rent (once in Sept and another in Oct) and I just moved in August 30th.
I can’t get in contact with their corporate office and I’ve left multiple reviews on this situation.
Do NOT move here. WAY too unorganized with other people’s hard earned money.
