1 starThis is about Millhouse Apts in Dallas Tx run by Asset Living.
WORST property management team I have ever dealt with. Lived here almost 2 years, moved out yesterday. My rent was always paid in full. First summer, it stayed around 90degrees INSIDE my unit and still paid 400$ a month in electricity. They would not fix it. Me and child had er visits. Then it was happening again next summer and they REFUSED to fix it, had to get the city of Dallas involved and they still did not fix it properly. They will lie to you and to Code Compliance City of Dallas. We had confirmed toxic mold growth in every single air duct in unit and they spray paint over filth saying it’s just insulation. They will tow your vehicle for unlawful purposes just bc they don’t like you even though you are a resident and not disturbing anyone. They caused me so much unnecessary stress and more! This is the current staff Manager Mariana ****** and Assistant Manager Kenia **** of Asset Living Millhouse Apartments in Dallas TX. Do not let them fool you, they are unprofessional and conniving. Definitely not luxury apts either. Do not move here. Absolutely Awful experience.WORST property management team I have ever dealt with. Lived here almost 2 years, moved out yesterday. 1 starAsset living utilizes a third party scamming billing management company if you have any “outstanding balances” once you try to pay this balance, you CANNOT. The company has an F on BBB. If you contact asset living about this, they are not going to help. They will ruin your credit and render your homeless by ruining your rental history!

On 8/18/24 a tree came through the roof of my apartment unit at ******** ***** ** *********** and its been 2 weeks since the incident happened and nothing has been done about it. I had to move my entire bedroom into the living room which is causing a real big living inconvenience and property management seems to care less about the situation. Property managers are hardly in the office to voice your concerns and no one never answers the phone in case you have a complaint.
This complex is terrible and ecnore its tenants needs but it funny how they have time to notify their tenants of a rent increase... SMHReview fromMicheal B

1 starVery unprofessional I will never rent from this company again after my experience at ********** ******* ** ***********. The manager violated my tenant rights several times to the point where she actually unlocked and entered my apartment for late rent, after I had already made agreement to pay which was supposed happen 2 days after she entered my apt. On July 17th she Aisha **** entered my apartment unlawfully, about an rent payment agreement that was made for July 19th. At this point I decided that I was not going to pay at all, immediately applied else where a and received approval to move on Aug 17th. On Aug 7th I was illegally evicted alone with about three other separate residences, which in itself is weird to evicted so many people all at the same time, in the same neighborhood. I was never served from any courts about any dispo court date or anything like that. On the very next day Aug 8th, yet another illegal event took place, I received a alert from the residence portal that I have a new message, upon review of this message it turned out to be a 3 day demand of payment from the date of August 8 which means they wanted payment by Aug 11th but I was evicted on August 7th. This letter was also typed and stamped by property management, not by any court judge or sheriff, it was literally a typed letter demanding payment in three day or vacate the premises. For this very reason I am doing this complaint, I am seeking a response/ resolution as advised by council. If I cannot seek a resolution this way, in a acceptable amount of time, 5 business days, I have lawyers set and ready to handle this issue in other ways .Review fromJordan B.

1 starDear Corporate Office,
My name is Christina ******* and I am a tenant at ******** *******, managed by Asset Living Property Management. I am writing to express my deep frustration with the way my recent maintenance issue has been handled. On Saturday night at 10:47 PM, I experienced a significant leak in my apartment, with water coming through my furnace and laundry room due to an issue in the unit above me. I immediately attempted to contact the leasing office, but the provided emergency number did not work. I eventually reached another number, which directed me to an answering machine. The message stated that someone would contact me during normal business hours. However, Monday arrived, and no one reached out to me., I had no communication from management or maintenance, no welcome emails, and no clear instructions on whom to contact in case of emergencies. I was forced to take time off work, losing income, to try to resolve this issue. Despite numerous attempts to contact the leasing office, my calls went unanswered. I finally visited the office in person and was greeted by Ken, who was polite and helpful. I also met the new property manager, Quala *****. Unfortunately, I felt dismissed as she mentioned having meetings and vendors to deal with, despite the urgency of my situation.
As a tenant who pays rent on time and follows all the rules, I expect timely and effective responses to emergencies. The lack of an online portal for emergency maintenance requests, coupled with the unresponsiveness of the leasing office, is unacceptable. My carpet, which is now beginning to smell, has yet to be cleaned despite my attempts to address this issue.
Living at ******** ******* has become increasingly frustrating. I work hard to maintain a decent living environment, and it is disheartening to be met with dismissiveness and neglect. The ongoing issues, including trash around the property, a broken gate, and disruptive neighbors, further exacerbate my dissatisfaction.Review fromCurrent T

1 starThe staff at the college park @ the nine does the bare minimum to help their residents and the maximum to enhance any negative experience. It’s like they hate their job and taking it out on the residentsReview fromCheyanne S

1 starI lived there for two years, once asset management took over is when things started taking a turn, don’t even get me started on just how awful the new management company is (not asset) I was on my way to the hospital to have a baby when my dryer went out, it took three months for them to finally replace it. Not only that but everytime we called and were very respectful. We were always told it would be in a few days. Months later we finally left a bad google review and got a long email from the current manager at the time saying that we were being rude and that their maintenance staff had told us Multiple times that they were busy with all the ac issues, this was never told to us by maintenance staff. They had never once even told us about replacing the dryer. Not only that but we had put in multiple requests for the ac and we only had one person come in to look at it. Then when I had my family visiting we had gone to the pool on a hot summer day to cool off and was immediately approached by the manager who was extremely rude asking if I lived there. Now to the new management. We had a neighbor move out back in April. She had left a bag of dog feeces that not only created maggots but also black worms(?) they were starting to get into our apartment. After multiple complaints to the old management and new management nothing was done. We left our apartment a month early due to that incident. That bag was still there up until our lease was over. Three months overall. A really really big health concern.Review fromMona K

1 starDo not rent from them.
I am a mother who was attempting to co-sign on a lease with my son who is a student at the local college. They are not truthful. They do not return phone calls. They have unfair costs. They are not reputable.
I have tried talking with upper management. It was a waste of time.Review fromAbdalah H

1 starThe worst place you can rent don’t ever think renting with them. They are irresponsible. They don’t care about no one they just care about taking your money. They don’t fix nothing and small electric issue. Take them over three months to fix.
