      Beware of this Apartment company. I signed the longest lease 15 months, always paid on time. Fully cleaned the apartment when I moved out. It still wasn't enough for this place. I had multiple random charges to me last bill after moving out for sewer, water trash. Its didn't even make sence. I never seen a break down like that when I lived there. Then they tried to say they put new carpet and paint when I moved out and said I am responsible for that bill of almost $2000.00. I left this unit perfect. Only thing that needed done was a few nail wholes puttied from my decorations. The whole time I lived there it was infested with animals in your trash daily. When you walk out side your trash is every where. They let the trash sit and marinate in the front door area until maggots eat it. in 15 months they pressure washed one time. My refrigerator broke and spoiled my food 5 times and they never replaced it, just tweaked a part. My Ac broke twice took days to fix it. Pool was always closed due to problems. Gates never worked. Now they think they are going to put this bill in collection and ruin my credit. I will be contacting my lawyer for this fraudulent company behavior.

      Reference Camden Potomac Yard Apartments.
      I had to vacate my apartment early. The early termination and two months' notice was not an issue, I understand that I had a lease and was responsible. The Manager told me that if I turned in the keys before my end date and somebody rented the apartment before that end date that I would receive a credit for the dates that the new person was paying rent. Well, I did that, and they are keeping my rent and charging the new tenants so double income from one apartment. Arlington and Virgina should protect its citizens from this type of behavior. Rent is already challenging enough in the area but letting landlords milk tenants is not good business.
