I signed up for a monthly subscription at the car wash on my drive to work. My office location changed, and thus I no longer needed the service. On the morning of May 30 I attempted to use the online cancellation system. It repeatedly malfunctioned. I then attempted to call, and got an automated system. I left all account numbers and was told I would receive a phone call. It never came. On June 1 I was charged $34.99 anyway. From my experience Im left to fear that this company signs people up for monthly subscriptions but makes it very difficult if not impossible to cancel.

I went to the car wash and received extensive scratches to my hood and door I filled out the necessary documents and video to the claim and submitted it the worker also reviewed the damages and said it happens frequently. I get a call back from a representative and said representative basically says that they do not cover damages from cars over 7 years old when the damage was clearing done by the car wash. When I said I should consult a lawyer the lady quickly ended the call

This car wash that is located in macomb two in ******** has been double charging me for a car wash subscription for a year and a half. They told me one of them has never been used and the other one I obviously did use. They will not refund me and they do not know why two accounts were opened.

On or about 01/22/2025, I ran my truck through the Whitewater Car Wash, located at the ****************, *********, **. When paying for my service at the kiosk outside, the manager said that they had a promotion underway, and by getting the $25 wash with my credit card, I could use the car wash for a month for that initial charge only. Yesterday, 02/24/2025, I received a charge of $39.99 for a monthly subscription to the car wash. I did not agree to any monthly contract, and feel that the manager fraudulently used my card. I called the car wash, was told a manager was unavailable, and that my call would be returned later. It was not. I emailed them, at their corporate office, and likewise, received no response.

In August of last year,, I decided to get my car washed. The man that helped me wanted to know if I wanted to sign up for membership and I told him no I did not. I realized in December of last year that the company was withdrawing $35 dollars from my account each month. I went to office and discussed with young lady there. She told me that I was not the only one that this guy had falsely signed up people for membership. She gave me a websit to go to and cancel. I did this in December before the Christmas holidays. I noticed that they are still withdrawing money. I have been given excuse after excuse. I want to be refunded my money.

      Car wash

On October 7, 2024, Paul ***** took his red Honda CRV license plate FQL 1044 to the Whitewater Express car wash in Hamilton Ohio. After the car wash, Mr. ***** noticed scratch marks made in a circular pattern on the front of his car. Mr. ***** alerted Whitewater Express employees Connor. Connor stated that they would fill out an incident report and figure out the proper protocol for fixing Mr. Toney’s car. Mr. ***** called in the following weeks, but never received an update. Mr. ***** eventually went back to the car wash to request an update on the matter. Mr. ***** was told that his claim was denied because the camera did not show the damage to the car when exiting the car wash. Mr. ***** was then given the number to Whitewater corporate to appeal the decision. Connor and Damon then contacted local law enforcement and had Mr. ***** trespassed from the location.

Multiple calls were made to corporate with no response. On January 22, 2025, the local Whitewater car wash was again called. Manager Christy stated that Mr. Toney’s claim was denied due to the cameras showing the damage to the car before it entered the car wash.

Whitewater has continued to provide contradicting information regarding the incident. When Mr. ***** tried to resolve this dispute locally, Whitewater chose to, unnecessarily, get law enforcement involved. Whitewater cannot trespass customers for calmly trying to get information about their claim.

Additionally, it is unlikely that the cameras would pick up on the damage to the car, the circular scratches are hard to capture on camera. Whitewater employees Connor and Damon verified the damage in person and assured Mr. ***** that the damage would be repaired. Whitewater caused damage to the car and they need to rectify this damage.

Since Whitewater has refused to engage in any conversation regarding rectifying this damage, we are asking the BBB to assist in this matter.

I contacted the company by phone in October 2024 to request a stop of the subscription. They said it was done but I am still being charged for the subscription. Tried to contact them again and they will not respond.I now hand wash my car because of this. Short of cancellation of my bank card I do not see any other options.

I bought a brand new 2021 ****** at the end of August 2024 in perfect condition only 8k miles on it. Paid good money for it. I wanted to get it washed and heard good things about this specific car wash. Unfortunately on September 2nd 2024, only 4 days later, I decided go here and 2 of my rims were completely scratched/scrapped up. I had barely driven it, temp tags still on it, and was extremely upset, as anyone would have been. Another customer next to me just had gotten a brand new car as well and he came over and told me that he just filed a complaint that same day due to his rims being scratched as well. So I had one of the employees come out and they mentioned and confirmed that the brushes were moved around incorrectly. He was extremely apologetic. He had me fill out and file a complaint. He told me it would take sometime to heard back but I should get an email in 72 hours. I never did. I called a few weeks later giving them sometime to handle it. No one answered the phone but I left a voice message with a phone number to call back. No one returned my call and I still never got an email. I am a very patient person but I was getting more upset so I decided to go in person when I had the time. I showed up and talked to an employee named *******, he went in the back and found out my complain was NEVER FILED. How is that MY fault? To me this sounds like a business issue where their policies are not met with customer service. So unprofessional and terribly ran with lack of prioritizing what should be met when running any business. He looked at me after incorrectly mispronouncing my first name, *******, multiple times (almost feeling deliberately) while I continued to correct him as he responded with If I were here things would have been handled differently well you are here now and still doing nothing. I demanded a contact to corporate and instead got an email from his boss, *****. I emailed ***** days ago and again imagine this. No response.

I am monthly customer that has the most expensive ways package possible and have been using your car wash for months and months. Last week I went to the *******************, **** location and after the wash I pulled over to sweep out my car and noticed two fresh on the passenger side that was not there before the wash. The same day the car wash was Not functioning properly with the brushes not turning. I immediately notified the staff and an incident report was filed and I was advised someone would follow up with me and no one did. This is ridiculous and extremely poor customer service

My name is Carolyn ****** and I own a ‘67 Ford Galaxie 500. On July 10, 2024, at approximately 2:15, I paid $10.00 to have my car washed at the Rowlett location. While I was in the car wash, I felt something heavy drop onto the front left side of my car. After exiting the tunnel, I realized there was a good size dent on my front fender. After a week of calling the corporate office, I finally heard from the Rowlett manager who quoted your policy of not being responsible for any damage of cars that are 7 years and older. She also stated that the sign is posted right before you enter the tunnel.
A ‘67 Ford Galaxie is built much better than any car made today; out of stronger steel than the sheet metal and plastic currently used. And while I acknowledge your posted signs, I find it alarming that your company is obviously aware of such damages being possible, yet fail to take necessary maintenance measures to ensure the safety of their customers and vehicles. Since I am a loyal customer, I am asking you to please take responsibility for the damage your machine did to my car, as well as taking care of a paint job. I’m a teacher, on a tight budget and do not have extra funds to pay to return my car to the original condition it was in before I entered your car wash.
I’m sure you get a lot of letters and have a legal department who readily sends out the usual response of “READ THE SIGNS!” However, I wanted to give you the opportunity to address my issue before I am left with having to contact the Attorney Generals’ office, Better Business Bureau, and local news stations to let them know the issues that the public can expect at WhiteWater Express car wash.

This is the certified letter I sent them and haven't heard back. The manager called and said they have a sign about cars that are 7 years and older, that they are not responsible for damages. WHY? I want them to fix and paint the car. I tried uploading pics but they wouldn't save. 214-707-8833
