      This company continuously calls my phone, since 2024! I have never done business with them, and after I tell them they really do not care. I have asked to be taken off the calling list because I am not the customer they are attempting to collect from, but even after this I am continuously called. I block the numbers yet they have another 100 to call me from. This is extremely frustrating, incompetent company, no one does anything correctly.

      This company took 2 payments out of my bank account and wouldn’t give me back one of the payments. Because they say it is there policy they keep your money. There system took my money after I make one payment and they pulled out another one and they they have they right to do so . They say Hadley my money better and that they don’t need to so empathy or Investigate because they have that right to take money out of someone’s account without the customers permission. I been with this company since 2017 and it’s bad ever since I signed up with. The day you sign up they put a block on your so can’t Switch to another company. This company Employees are rude. Disrespectful show no empathy to their customers.

      A representative with Spark Energy came to my door offering their services. There is a monthly maintenance fee, when I asked if that was a fixed fee or if there were ways to waive it the representative at my door told me the fee is waived if your gas bill surpasses a certain dollar amount, I was skeptical.
      I called to cancel about two weeks later because i was not interested in being charged their monthly fees and when I eventually did my research on this company I didn’t like what I saw. When I called to cancel I asked the representative assisting with the cancellation if the fee truly gets waived when your bill surpasses a certain dollar amount like the guy who signed me up told me and the representative told me NO it does not get waived. Who’s telling the truth? I don’t know. But if I had to guess I’d say the representative on the phone was probably correct.
      If so, their door to door representatives will blatantly lie about charges and how they work. Thank goodness I cancelled as quickly as I did. I regret opening the door and hearing him out.

      First off they don't deserve 1 star ...So I was on a year contract now they giving me a hard time telling me it's a month to month now no that was not in contract they just want me to pay $200 f ok r cancellation but the contract is up and I did not wish to renew SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

      I have been contacted by various Spark Energy representatives at least 3 times a day for the past 3 weeks asking to speak to "Leandro". I have told the reps time and time again, I am NOT Leandro and they are calling the wrong number.
      Each time they call, I inform them they have the wrong number and to remove me from their call list, I am assured by the talented folks at Spark, that my number will be removed from the list and I will not be contacted again. However, within a few hours, I am contacted again by another rep looking for Leandro.
      I have been told time and time again that the "system" takes 24 hours to update even though I have been asking to be removed for weeks. In addition, I receive negative pushback from the representatives for expressing my frustrations and am often hung up on.
      I have attempted blocking their number but they constantly call from different numbers making my efforts worthless.
      I would like someone at Spark Energy (NOT A SALES REPRESENTATIVE) to contact me and confirm that I will be removed from this contact list and that these calls will stop.
      I am only leaving one star because the BBB website doesn't let me leave zero stars.

      The agent contacted me about renewing my fixed rate plan months ago. I informed him I was moving so to please cancel my energy after X date because my apartment lease was ending. They sent me a confirmation letter confirming my energy plan would end, yet they still tried to bill me 2 months later and their defense was “you didn’t explicitly mention to cancel the service”. This feels very deceptive. Instead of cancelling my energy service due to moving, they ended a fixed rate agreement then moved into a month to month variable billing under my name, but I was no longer living at the address and they still tried to bill me. Their supervisor kept insisting I am at fault, but said they will try to bill the apartment property management instead for these charges they invoiced me for and hopefully resolve this.

      I signed up with Spark Energy for an introductory offer to save on my gas bill. I have not received information from them since I signed up they significantly increased the cost of my electric ComEd bill.

      I realized a sharp increase and called ComEd to find Spark Energy has been charging me, without my knowledge, more than three times what ComEd charges without any benefit to me. To add insult to injury, when I called to cancel Spark Energy they tried to keep me offering me a rate "still" more than ComEd!

      Spark Energy has deceived me for years. I feel concerned they deceive others.

      AVOID SPARK ENERGY THEY ARE A FRADULETNT RIP-OFF!

      Spark Energy called in December and sold to my elderly husband who has cognitive issues. I found the unsigned contract and called to cancel. I'm being charged $100 early termination fee even though there is no signed contract. I informed customer service that my husband is elderly and I'm the decision maker in the household but that did not matter one bit. And they tell me that they can't terminate the service until my next meter reading. Who knows when that will be- PG&E is very busy due to some storms that have left hundreds of thousands of customers without power. So it looks like I'm going to have to continue to fight with Spark to get out from under this contract that was never signed that they entered into with a vulnerable elderly person.

      Just found out about Spark Energy because apparently this company hijacked my electric energy with Com Ed back in 2018. I had no idea until my Electric Bill kept going up every month and I started to look into why. I Never gave this company permission to enter me into a contract. Com Ed has always been my electric supplier and distributor for like 50 years. I feel scammed by Spark Energy and from reading reviews I’m not the only one they did this too. So I had to cancel them as my energy supplier on 01/08/2022 so I could revert my service back to Com Ed. Also, since 2021 until now this company has been charging me outrageous variable rates. Never have I received a letter informing me that this was what was happening or I was even a customer of Spark Energy. So educate yourself on suppliers and distributors of your electricity company and scrutinize your bill carefully.
