I ordered after christmas sales items. They ran late which was to be expected, however, when they arrived, all but the "Shatter proof ornaments" were broken. I have pictures not only of the broken items, but also of how they were packed, they look like they were thrown in over sized boxes with one square of bubble wrap and then tossed from a 10 story building to make it on to the delivery truck. I then emailed Michaels with my order number and pictures, two business days ago. I received an automatic reply and nothing further. I have copies of these as well. When I try to log in and chat with a representative from the website, there is a 50+ minute wait.....I am writing this on corporate's site since there is no other POC to get this resolved. Just received my order from Michaels yesterday. Two mini prelit Christmas trees. They came in excellent shape and packaging was very good. I highly recommend Michaels to order online. These two minis match the garlands I ordered from Temu!!! So pretty! Thank you Michaels for getting these two trees out to me in ****, **. Michaels purchased an independent chain in ********** and without warning is closing it (Moskatels). I am a pretty loyal person going to Michaels for all my framing and Moskatels and Michaels for crafts and cake decorating. However, this absolute disregard for the neighborhood, employees and community is bad policy and indicative of a company that doesn't understand its customer.Spread it far and near - don't shop at Michael's.Michaels Stores, Inc.

I would like to take this opportunity to recognize the exemplary service provided by two employees at my local Michael's store located in **************, *************, *********First, I would like to commend ****, the Manager of the ******************* I have had the pleasure of knowing **** for several years, and I consistently prioritize visiting her department, regardless of whether I require framing services. ****** dedication to her work ethos is readily apparent. Throughout the years, I have sought her assistance with numerous framing projects, and she has consistently offered her support with genuine warmth, professionalism, and the highest quality workmanship. Due to her outstanding service, I am committed to returning to Michael's for all my framing requirements.Additionally, I wish to acknowledge ****, with whom I have had a shorter yet impactful acquaintance. **** exudes a positive energy that is both unique and uplifting. I have observed that not all customers enter the ********************** in an optimistic frame of mind; however, engaging with ****, even briefly, significantly enhances their experience. She exhibits a high level of professionalism and consistently provides valuable guidance for my *********** is noteworthy that a Hobby Lobby has recently opened in close proximity, complete with its own framing department. However, I frequently observe a lack of activity, characterized by an absence of both employees and customers. I wanted to commend the high level of professionalism and teamwork demonstrated by the employees at this Michaels store, which undeniably reflects well on the store manager, ********, whom I had the pleasure of meeting. Recently, I undertook a small project and received valuable assistance from two team members: a young lady in the jewelry section (whose name I unfortunately didnt catch) and a young man named ***. Their suggestions greatly enhanced my project, and the final result was truly impressive. My friend was delighted not only with the outcome but also with the exceptional quality of merchandise available at Michaels. I purchased a Christmas figurine and when I checked out I asked the cashier for an extra bag to insure the figurine wouldnt break. She wasnt pleased that I asked for the second bag stating is one bag not enoughBad customer service skills!!!Michaels Stores, Inc.

Purchased online 3 Fall reefs in November 2024, which I received about a week later after my purchase. Upon trying to return one reef to the store, I was informed by the stores manager that they do not accept items purchased online. When I contacted corporate office about online returns, I was informed I could return items anytime, no matter how purchased or when, and it took about 25 minutes on hold when someone answered my call.Michaels Stores, Inc.

I contacted their customer service about an item I ordered online after receiving a text notification that my item was picked upeven though I never went to the store to pick it up. At their store on ******************* in **********, **, they have shelves specifically for online orders, but anyone can walk in, take an item off the shelf, and leave without an associate checking the item or verifying the identity of the person picking it up. When I called the store, they told me that since I ordered online, I had to call the online customer service number. I spent over 30 minutes on hold waiting for a representative to answerthis is the worst customer service ever!!! I literally wasted over 30 minutes of my life for no answer after wasting 30 minutes trying to sort this out. What a nightmare for such a small ordernever again! I wish there was a negative option. While the staff at my local Michaels store is amazing, the corporate handling of their credit card services has been a nightmare. I signed up for a Michael's credit card in-store and was told it would be mailed to my home. After three weeks, the card still hadnt arrived, so I called to check. I was able to pay my bill using my social security number, but they had to cancel the missing card and issue a replacement.Three more weeks passed, and I still hadnt received the new card. When I called customer service again, I was asked to provide all my previous addresses, even addresses from decades ago. After listing every street Id lived on, I was finally told that my card had been sent somewhere else. When I asked where, I was informed that, due to "customer security," they couldnt tell me where my card was mailedeven though its MY card!This lack of transparency felt absurd and infuriating, especially when I was told that I might have "forgotten" my own address history. I was also cut off multiple times during the call, which only added to the frustration. When I requested the corporate number, the representative initially claimed I was already speaking to the right place. It took some insistenceand a quick online search of my ownto finally get the actual corporate contact.A customer service representative unable to resolve an issue for over a month should readily provide corporate contact information. The fact that my card was mistakenly mailed to an unknown address and that customer service was reluctant to help me verify or correct the situation is genuinely alarming. Eventually, she updated my address in the system after claiming **** doesnt deliver to itsomething I know isnt true.Its unsettling to know that my credit card was sent to a mystery address, and despite all my efforts, I was denied the information I needed to protect my own financial security.Michaels Stores, Inc.

1 starI feel like I was racially profiled today. I have always ordered online for store pickup. Went right away to get my order when it was ready. As I always do, I went inside the store found the bin that my 1pkg of tea light candles were in. As I went to walk out the store an assoc that was checking out a customer stopped and hurriedly came to me to ask for my proof of purchase. I said no one has ever asked me before. You stopped helping that customer to address me? Oh its our ********************** policy. What? I said Ok let me get it. She then nastily says wow never mind and walked away. Require pin number for purchase, which I was hesitant to provide given so many credit card skimming cases. Poor customer service. When I called corporate to complain, the customer service was even worse. All I was given was literally the person reading from a script and then I was hung up on. I hadn't been to a Michaels location and a couple of years and now I'm sure I wasn't missing anything!Michaels Stores, Inc.
