      I will not shop at Michaels again. It had a price online and also gave the message that the item was available at a local store. When I went to the store the item was priced fifty per cent higher. The manager would not resolve the situation, claiming that it was corporate policy. This is a fraud; to entice the customer into the ********************** by advertising a fake price! We should demand *************** from a national brand.

      I love Michaels as a store, I have been a customer of several locations for years. In Michaels Valley Stream I have spent alot of money in that store but of late their customer service is poor. They took forever to fulfill an online pickup and I called customer service to find out how long will it be. The rep told me she cant get through so she will email. Their staff waited fulfilled the order which said come to picked it up at hen a minute later cancelled the order out of spite because the rep emailed. Michaels is a brand and I didnt know you allowed your workers to do whatever they felt to customers. Ill never go to that location again. I hope it closes down with that type of service.

      Looking for containers to hold ink, store #2742 manager referred me to the Celebrate It plastic mason jars. What a mess. They leak horrible made a complete mess and cost me $20 worth of ink. Stained towels it was a disaster. I mean the can be sitting upright with the lid on and leak. Horrible product and when asked about it they gave me the $5 for the jars back but nothing for my other loss

      Michaels Is A Great Arts And Craft Type Of Store!

      I had a bunch of magnets that had their backings come off and I even had a few that were just broken and needed some simple repairs.

      I even had a necklace that just came unattached from my neck the other day.

      I was in dire need of Help To Put All Of My Items Back Together and I could Not think of a store better to visit other than Michaels who has an Excellent Reputation At Selling High Quality Goods With Respect To Arts And Crafts And Even Picture Frames too!

      I am Not so good at working with magnets and necklaces, however, **** the onsite store manager was Just The Right Person Who Assisted ME To Fix My Magnets and Necklace.

      I want to personally Thank ****, the onsite store manager for the store located at: **************************************************************************************************** XXXXX for going out of her way to assist ME with my small project back on Saturday, February 18th, 2023.

      have placed multiple orders for pickup. they have all been cancelled without explanation. i went to the store and asked about it was told, we dont know why sorry bout your luck. done shopping at michaels

      Extremely poor customer service. Three people working with only one of the three serving as cashier and 16 people in line. Other employees ignored the line. I am only giving it a single star because the had the items I needed in stock.

      Went to a store in *********, **. Was charged $227 and change for custom framing. Went to cash out, put my card in the reader (DID NOT INPUT MY PIN NUMBER) and the register froze. The employee shut it off and was advised by the manager there were no transactions processed and to reprocess the transaction. Cashed out, paid and left. I looked at my bank that day and realized there were two charges from that store, totaling $454. I called the store. I was advised to contact 1 800 michaels for further assistance. So I did. Multiple times, kept getting the run around from every single person I interacted with from 1 800 michaels. I kept having to explain the situation, then be told the "fraud department" was looking into it and I would be contacted the next day. This exact thing happened for weeks. I never heard anything from anyone. Mind you, this was back on October 31, 2022. Here it is, well into December and I still cannot get an answer or a refund for a mistake I was not at all responsible for. I refuse to go back to any Michael's stores from now on.

      I ordered 20 picture frames for my son's birthday. I received only 17 of which 4 were broken or were the wrong items shipped. fortunately I managed to get those reshipped. Unfortunately I did not receive the remaining three and my son's birthday is on Wednesday. I was out on hold for over an hour for nothing. No one spoke to me and no one helped me out and I'm three frames short. So upset at the incompetence and la l of help from this company!!

      I ordered a tree from them 11/27. Its now the day before it said it would be here. Ive not gotten any updates. I called customer service and was in chat with customer service. They are telling me they have a different shipping policy for trees. Thats it will be 10 days before it gets here. The lady one the phone told me to look at the website for the shipping. I did " Ground Ship Only: Item may not be shipped 2nd Day or Next Day. Shipping Restriction: Item may not be shipped to ****** or ******. " Its says nothing to what she was telling me on the phone. That it takes 4 days to process and then 4-6 days to ship. THEN 10days to arrive. I also posted the same thing in the chat. Both agents got annoyed. The man on the chat window, told me i could cancel my order... Ive bought so many things through this company over the years. After this kind of treatment, it shows they dont care as a company to employ decent customer service. I choose to care where I put my money.

      I shopped at the Mayfaire location in **********, ** this week. They now have self service registers installed. After starting to use the machine I asked the clerk to apply my 10% senior discount. She told me that she was unable to do that. She said it would be part of my rewards. I then told her I wanted to use cash and she said the new machines are not able to accept cash.

      This review is NOT about the clerk. It is about taking away my senior discount, and the ability to pay in cash. That is not good customer service. $1.20 may not seem like much, but it is to seniors on fixed incomes.
