RUN FAR AWAY FROM ONESHARE HEALTH!! Don't even consider this costsharing runaround scam. I was skeptical from the beginning, but needed some kind of health coverage so I enrolled and made an appointment for a basic WELLNESS visit on November 18, 2021. After more than 10 phone calls not including emails and faxed documents to OneShare, I finally received a statement of ZERO reimbursement for $516.00 on April 19, 2022 due to a non primary network provider. I then filed a Member Dispute Form and indicated I followed instructions explicitly and used OneShare's website for a doctor and clinic. Then I was told the CPT codes were invalid. It was one crazy thing after another for an unbelievable nightmare of a process!!! Allina Health won't deal with health sharing companys because they said it is impossible to obtain payments from them. After 7 months of persistent follow through of phone calls and more forms for me to complete, OneShare sent $433.44 reimbursement to Allina instead of myself. So now I await payment from Allina for the next 4- 6 weeks from their bill I already paid so it would not end up in collection. This all was after OneShare had asked me for proof that I had paid Allina this bill. After this experience, I truly feel for those that are not able to defend themselves while incurring costs for seriously needed expensive medical treatments they rely on that won't get paid.
