      I was doing business with this company for 10 years. They are a rip-off. Their loans are racially bias. They charge so much in interest to make it hard for blacks to be able to pay off their loans. You'll pay triple of what the actual loan is for your car. I had a loan for $17,000 and paid $30,000 to them to finish off the payments of the contract. I suggest you go elsewhere for a loan; they are a rip-off!

      This company customer service is the worst. please do not allow them to finance your car. I was calling getting totally different information from several different agents. ***** is the worst customer service agent at this firm. She was not helpful at all she was being rude smart and unprofessional . I will continue to follow up on my compliant no one should have to be subject to this kind of abuse when you are paying your money

      I have been financing a vehicle with this company for over a year, every time I try to contact them an ask questions they have been rude or blatantly lied to me. I even gave my grandmother and a person from my bank ability to access my account and they treated them poorly as well. When I attempted to refinance the vehicle with another institution they said that they cannot do that. I also now owe more on the vehicle than I did when I bought it, which makes no sense as I have not missed a payment and am least 3 months ahead on my payments all the time. This place is shady, and no one should ever under any circumstance accept a loan from them.

      MULTIPLE times, I have requested to do all my payments via paper mail (it's just easier for me that way). They keep saying it's something wrong with my mail carrier. This is totally false. I continue to receive mail from other establishments. I even receive mail from Exeter to let me know I've been late!!! Just no paper billing statements are ever sent!!! This has resulted in my accountant incurring additional fees. They call me multiple times a day, and even though I continue to request all correspondence be by mail, I never receive it. They are predatory and I feel like they are intentionally ignoring my requests to collect late fees. TERRIBLE company. I can not wait to refinance with another company. EXETER IS TRASH.

      For more than a month now, I have been unable to make my payment online. When I select the option to make my payment online, a message pops up stating that due to my account status, they are unable to accept online payments from me and to contact customer service. My account is current so the message is unwarranted. When I contacted customer service, they explicitly expressed to me that there should be no reason for the block on my payment portal as my account is not delinquent and offered to process the payment over the phone. I expressed that I wished to make my payments online as I do not have time to wait on hold due to my work schedule nor do I wish to keep divulging my banking information over the phone and was then prompted by customer service to try again that evening as it appeared to have been a glitch. Suffice to say, I should have made the payment over the phone at the time as the problem was not resolved and I had to call the payment in at a later date when my work schedule permitted, which resulted in a late fee that I asked be waived due to the issues with the payment portal. The customer service representative was very rude and stated that they were in the process of updating the site and was clear that she did not agree with my request to waive the late fee despite the issues with the website but stated she would submit the request anyway. It is now a month later, the late fee was never waived and the issue with the payment portal has not been resolved as I am still encountering the same message when attempting to make a payment online. I do not have time to wait on hold with or for customer service and I have to wonder if this isn't a scheme to rack up late fees from those of ** who do not have time to wait on the phone. I will refinance through my bank to get away from this company but I wonder how much money they are scheming out of others by restricting access to the payment portal and if there might be a class action lawsuit in the near future.

      I have emailed dispute letters to this company because they are reporting false information to all three credit bureaus damaging my credit. It is clear I am current with this company and do not owe what they are reporting and there is other information that is inaccurate. However, I am being told nothing is wrong. If I was past due, then they will of course say that it is my fault and be quick to post I am past due, but yet they don't see no errors in what they are reporting and refuse to take responsibility and do the right thing and fix what they messed up. I may have to call on the law because they have violated my rights under the *****

      I have paid 2 car payments and they never got the first one and I'm not understanding why the payments I have made no one will look into where it went when I sent it from the bank through bill pay so it's not on a statement it's the first transaction I've made with this acct gave the confirmation number and I'm told no one is looking into it and need to pay it again um excuse me I paid it it's not my fault if it didn't go through on y'all's end and the bank has been trying to figure it out and no one will get in contact with them it's crazy how the main branch is in ******** and to get the bank statement they want I have to go from tn to there so is someone paying for my gas no so It's not my job to figure out what happend to the money when it was sent from my bank to Exeter and no one wants to look into where it went and it's pretty sad I'm not paying again y'all can figure out where my payment went to begin with and sent in a 2 payment and a week later y'all still haven't received it man this is one crazy company don't recommend to anyone something shady is goin on here

      WOW! I wish I would have researched this company sooner and did my homework. I got a car loan through them in 2018 and have made 38 payments totaling over $16K when my initial loan amount was only $15K but in 2022 4 years later I STILL OWE $14K. In reading everyone's review I see they are crooks! and charging daily interest. I have fell on hard times and had to get my loan extended a few times but made a lot of payments. I am unable to keep paying this note am devastated that it will hit my credit if voluntarily turn it in. This is HORRIBLE. If there is any class action suits out there, please let me know! This seems very illegal!

      I would give zero stars if possible. **************** is beyond rude. If you are even a day late for a payment they will call you multiple times a day, every day. Half the calls attempted to answer I was hung up on. If you call back expect to wait before speaking with somebody and certainly would not expect any type of satisfactory resolution on the consumer end. Predatory loans for people already experiencing hardship. I have an excellent payment history with them however interest rate is so high it's actually lowered my credit score and they refuse to refinance.
