      I wrote two checks from my mortgage one for the principal one for the payment they took interest out of both checks I think Cooper mortgage is a ripoff they bought my mortgage from a company that was going out of business it took them 3 months to finally send me a statement this company really needs to be investigated

      Well, unfortunately my loan was sold to this 'company' recently. Confirm other reviews - this is total disaster. While set up auto payment, they started to charge me at their intervals ( not as the set date) , so this month I was charged TWICE ( day after day ) . Customer support is a big joke, don't even try to contact them. Waste the time. Need to forward the case to my attorney, they apparently think they are very smart and may do whatever they like to.

      My mortgage was recently sold to Mr. Cooper. Prior to my loan being sold, I was setup w/ autopay on the 7th of each month. Never had any issues. The email I received stated I would have access to my account on the 9th of Dec. On the 9th, I setup my account, made my Dec ********************** payment and then setup my Autopay to start on the 7th of Jan. Today, I received a text from my bank stating my account was overdrawn. I looked at my bank account only to find that Mr. Cooper had taken my monthly payment of $3,452.51 twice! I called to have it reversed and we had to call my bank. My bank said it needed to be refunded by Mr. Cooper. Mr. Cooper stated they would refund it but it would take 2 to 3 days. I asked why they could not wire the duplicate payment to my account as my account is overdrawn leaving me w/ no money in my account. I went on to state it was never approved and it was there error. They had no care to fix it. Instead, I was told this happens often! How is that okay?! This is definitely not okay and it is not the customer service they state they provide. I will definitely be looking for a new lender because I can not afford to have payments coming out of my account w/out my authorization!

      RUN!!!! RUN!!! RUN!!! This company is shady! Our mortgage was JUST RECENTLY sold to them. After we were notified of the change via a letter in the mail, they emailed ** asking that we manually log in and pay our mortgage payment on their website. A couple days later, they helped themselves to a second mortgage payment via "auto payment". When we contacted them about it, they couldn't explain how this happened. Not sure if they really are that clueless, or if it's a scam game that they're running. Based on all of the previous reviews that I'm seeing; this is just how they operate. We are dumping them immediately!

      I'm not happy with this company at all! I made an extra payment in July and the money cannot be accounted for. I get a notice of delinquent account. Apparently my mortgage went up. They don't know how to pick up a phone and call people. Terrible customer service. Hung up on twice and then a fire alarm was going off in the background on another call. Yesterday when I finally spoke with someone I was told everything has been corrected and i will owe $412 something in January and that she entered a claim for a dispute on my credit that dropped from excellent to fair! Unreal! Today, I owe $1439 in January well what happened to the $1026? I'm concerned this company seems to be cheating people of their $$!

      This business keeps calling my cell phone number for my deceased parents. They did no business with this merchant and both have been dead for over 5 years. I have repeatedly over the last 3 months told them they have the wrong number and to remove it and they continually ****** me.

      I had my mortgage through USAA. They sold me to Mr *********************** We have an exemption for property taxes where we do not pay at all in the state of ********. When my mortgage was transfered I was told everything would be handed over and not to do anything. Well, maybe 2 months in I login to pay and bam, they want 900$ now! My regular payment is 596 a month. Come to find out they never put in my exemption into their system. I have been waiting 2 months with no fix! They took off my taxes and then a week later they were back on there again. I also found out my escrow was short ****, so I fixed that. But now they are hassling me to pay december mortgage without them taking off my property taxes. No way, do your jobs and correct my escrow. I will not give them money just to wait an entire year to get it back. Everytime I speak to someone there's a different reason, answer and explanation. And even the simplest of fixes I'm told to wait 10 business days. This is why it's taking so long to correct. Everytime they do one tiny thing it's a 10 business day wait period. I cannot stand this company. I cannot believe I'm stuck with them.

      Horrible company! I received a escrow shortage statement in August and paid the shortage amount. I received another one in October and paid that amount and called in to make sure everything was good and my payment wouldn't change. They assured me paying the second shortage amount would keep everything the same. I log in today to make sure my December payment was processed and see ********* statement and the payment has gone up to the amount it would have been without paying the shortages. I spend 1 hour on the phone with customer service and the call is escalated and nothing resolved. They keep telling me that taxes and insurance have gone up. They're right they have and that's why I paid the shortage. I told them to take the amount of taxes and insurance and divide it by ******************************************************************************** the account. I hung up after an hour because nothing was being resolved.

      I had no option but to give them one star they deserve 0 stars. Rushmore Mortgage and Loan is an absolutely horrible company. I tried for 2 months to have an escrow analysis completed after we received a property tax exemption. They actually gave me the run around for two months and then sold my loan to another company!! As such, I now have to start the **************** again with the new company. It was an absolute nightmare speaking to people and getting assurances that they were working on it only to come down to oh we no longer own the loan your going to need to work with the new company. I would not recommend anyone use them as a mortgage loan service they are the absolute worst! OAN: Maintain and manage your own escrow account!!!

      I am a new Mr. Cooper / Lakeview customer. My loan was sold to them recently. They repored me as 30 days past due when they made an incorrect escrow calculation. That whole time I was making auto payments from my bank account for my usual ********************** amount. They still reported me as late :( I HATE THIS COMPANY. I want them to remove this negative reporting from all the credit bureaus, especially since this was not my fauly. I filed a claim with the Consumer Financial ******************** CFPB # ******* ******* ***************. Hope this results in some actual positive action.
