      **************** is very difficult to reach. The online chat option was not working and their automated phone service is the worst I have ever experienced in my life. After spending 45 minutes calling the number several times and trying different prompts, I was finally able to get an agent after selecting an option that was far from the reason I was calling. My online account was also incorrect, only showing a prior mortgage loan I had over 6 years ago, and not displaying my current mortgage loan. Once I reached an agent, the agent seemed helpful and professional. Im supposed to receive a call back once everything is cleared up with my account. I hope this ********************** can get a handle on their phone system. Ridiculous

      The worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with. Im a retired veteran and havent received my benefits yet and wanted to defer one payment they said its 100% not possible and that if I dont pay it within 30 days its getting reported to the credit bureau. Only company I have dealt with that wont defer a payment, so much for putting the customers first. I will be refinancing to get away from them, frustrated that my loan got sold to them with out me knowing in the first place. Mr. Cooper is a joke and would stay away from them at all costs.

      I want to sincerely apologize that were unable to offer a deferral for your May payment without it impacting your credit. Our current policy allows for assistance starting in June through a workout option, but unfortunately, we dont have a way to skip or defer a payment without a 30-day late **** being reported.


      I understand this is different from your previous mortgage experience, and Im sorry we couldnt provide the flexibility you were hoping for. If you havent already, I encourage you to reach out to the VA directly, as they may have resources or support available for veterans in situations like yours.

      When I called (3 different Mr. Cooper customer service numbers) I was forced to listen to 15 min of menu options irrelevent to me. When the robot does not understand me, 3 times it says "Thank you" and then hangs up.

      Repeatedly tried to charge us $851 for not having proof of insurance DESPITE having uploaded it in 3 separate occasions AND talking with them on the phone multiple times. They are the worst I've ever encountered in my life.

      I waived the escrow. They have all the paperwork, They told me they removed it and they constantly put it back on. This has happened 3 or 4 times since December and it is not even May. They have wasted my time and energy. The representatives, even the supervisors (especially a supervisor) have lied to me. They don't call me back. Lets hope the lady I just talked to keeps her promise.

      Deserves negative stars. No phone number to anyone but customer service and they cant help with anything. But say to email the department you are trying to contact. And that department doesnt reply to emails. I have multiple emails to them with no response Not a lender I would recommend

      In contrast, I encountered significant challenges with this company. I had unpaid property taxes that were not being managed properly. I filed a case in November 2024, and as of the end of April, the company has not resolved the issue. They had promised to take action from then on. Unfortunately, the expedite department has not paid the taxes, and a debt collection agency has contacted me. We now owe $577 in interest penalties on top of the $5,775 in unpaid taxes.
