Terrible customer service. First experience with ********************** was exceptional. They were not the least expensive quote for repair but the service tech, *************************, was friendly and knowledgeable so we chose this company. Our second experience was also positive and I signed on for a maintenance agreement. I was told I would get a call to schedule inspection of our plumbing and descaling of our tankless water heater. I did not get a call, so a month later I called in to request this service and spoke with *************************** who was rude, unpleasant, and clearly should not be answering phone calls dealing with customers. He said the descaling service was offered annually at the end of the contract. The next day I got a voicemail from ********************* who explained the service was available at the end of the contract and her tone of voice was an extension of ******'s attitude - like they were scolding a child and ignorant of the nuances of customer service and how to retain continued business. They both are unfamiliar with quality customer service phone etiquette AND with the contract. The contract states: "Upon membership, (and once each year thereafter for perpetual memberships) our experienced plumber will give your home a thorough inspection." So I called ***** and read the contract to her, she then tried to explain that "perpetual" means monthly which is not my contract. Ok, I get that the people representing this company are not lawyers and less so, do not understand the definition of some words, but after this negative experience, I've requested my money back for the annual membership and will not call Benjamin Franklin Plumbing again. So many opportunities for this to be avoided and later turned around had the customer service skills been better.Benjamin Franklin Plumbing

It's always a shame when someone states outright lies and identifying specifics about someone in a review, as you have done here. All of our calls are recorded, and the only rude person we heard speaking on the recordings was you. In fact, you hung up on the Manager you were speaking with, and did not hear anything he was saying. What he said was this was a contract that you have already paid for, and it could not be cancelled, but could be rescheduled. Your response was to immediately say you had another call coming in, and had to go, but even then he offered to have the one person who can cancel your contract without meeting our end of it, call you. When she did, you were rude and short with her as well. We will honor any warranty you have with us, but we will not work for you ever again, and you have been added to our DO NOT SERVICE list.Benjamin Franklin Plumbing
