On 01/10,2024 unit ********************************************************* ******, ** for lights and sensors going off on the dashboard and for a software update to the system because the transmission was skipping in 7th gear at times. Peterbilt in ****** claimed it did its two hour diagnostics which I was charged and determined it was a loose battery cable. I am not a genius nor a heavy equipment mechanic, but I know ******** when I smell it. I looked at the person and did not say a word but just give me my tractor so I can go. I get 500 miles down the road and the same lights and sensors pops up on the dashboard again. I was do in ************, ** where I dropped a load and rechecked united ***** in to the address above 0n 01/15,2024 in ************, **. It to claimed it did a software update and changed the filters. However, this time when I get the tractor back it has a drag like something is holding it back, steam was coming from the radiator, smoke was coming from some where between the bottom of the engine or transmission and the transmission smelled like it was burning. It did not have those problems before it went in nor did it have those problems any other time before then. I know when I am been taken advantage of. What would you do, what would the people and the public who will see this do? for some reason my attachments is giving me an error. They will not attach. I also did research for an engine air filter that cost me over ****** at Peterbilt that's only ******

They took forever to even look at the truck for diagnoses, technicians didnt know anything about the trucks despite being a international dealer, we will be avoiding this company in the future and recommend you to do the same

We bought an International Truck and thought it was a safe bet to use Rush to install a new Engine in it. **** charged us 32k for the parts and labor. (Note: We brought the truck in to get looked at 30 days after the install for an oil leak. Shabby work, maybe?) You know this **** engine only went 49k miles before an oil issue resurfaced and **** told us that the only remedy was to buy the exact same engine and have it installed for 49k! I basically cussed them out and told me to give us our truck. They wouldn't release it until we paid for a tow. I'm like, what tow? They said they had to tow it to a place to get it looked at. The tow was around $800. I'm like we paid a $1200 tow to get it to you guys. Now you want me to pay a tow that YOU set up for whatever before you release the truck? Needless to say we had to pay it to get the truck released to us. All in all Rush is trying to get 81k from us. We are NOT happy. We only got 49K miles out of that engine for $32,000....and they are not even trying make any effort to look out for us for their obvious shabby work. The oil leak was present from the beginning of the install to the truck breaking down. For that reason alone we feel like **** should've taken more responsibility than they did. I feel like **** gets City/State money and they don't care about small businesses. I've seen school buses, ambulances, trash trucks, etc. on their property. I feel like they charge what they want and they never get any push back from the city/state. DO NOT TAKE YOUR TRUCK TO RUSH. Poor Mechanic work, no accountability, and they trying to get us for everything we've got. STAY AWAY. Unfortunately I can't recommend anyone else because the truck is still inoperable.

rush trucks can't do what there told "ck the front axle to make sure its good" my answer 3 weeks later (it looks straight) they replaced steering box couldn't line up the marks "2 teeth off center" couldn't do a wheel alignment, or put steering wheel center? caught them stealing fuel. they forgot to put the fuel cap back on, left a trail out the door down ramp all the way to lower level fuel 3 feet forward and backwards from cap on truck. Charged insurance company half hour to put on a bug screen, I pointed out they owe me half hour because rush put it on backwards? they tried to charge 3.5 hours to straighten a power steering reservoir bracket (was cheaper to put new on for 45 minute job) told them synthetic oil they couldn't do that right? they waisted 3 days waiting for body shop invoice that was paid 10 days earlier?? meanwhile I'm in a motel?? a 10 day repair job took them 22 days. had to get alignment redone, and the front axle was bent by half a inch. there was 9 axles in ***** distribution center. they even offered me a free oil change next time i pass thru but not on paper?? i wouldn't give these people the time day, if i broke down its getting towed somewhere else. poor excuse for mechanics and management.

Ive writing this comment because I purchased parts from a rush truck center dealership in at ******, MO and was told that I have 1 year warranty on the parts before purchasing, now that its been 11 months and the parts did not do what it supposed and failed they dont want to honor the warranty which is a breach of warranty, Ive been in a hotel for 4 weeks wait called multiple times trying to get them for updates etc emails they dont respond they want to charge me for warranty parts and labor when Im not supposed to they been going around in circles from the day I drop the truck off. Im warning everyone to stay away from all rush truck centers because they are scammers and price gouging doesnt seem like they know what they are doing. Just stay away because you will not get a warranty on parts even when they say you will and also labor they will still try to charge you and extra charges that are made up.

Hello ******, Thank you for letting us know about your recent experience. Customer happiness is our top priority. I have reviewed both the repair at ********************. and the repair in *****, **. The failure in St. ****** was the *** Cooler failed and coolant was passed through the exhaust damaging the ********* to the point they had to be replaced. The failure 11 months later was determined to be the fuel injectors are over fueling and passing fuel through the exhaust system and this has damaged the ********* to the point they have to be replaced again. The manufacture 1 year warranty is for manufacture defects in their product. Parts warranty also does not cover contingent damage to other parts caused by the covered part failing. The failures in ****************, ** and *****, **. are two separate and unrelated failures of parts that caused contingent damage to the *********, therefore there is no manufacture warranty on these parts, because there is no manufacture defect. The manufacture of the *** did offer to you as customer goodwill to pay for 1/2 of the parts and $150.00 towards the labor, which you declined to accept.

Truck is still under warranty and they refused to honor it when it failed 1 week later, they did not want to look at the truck each time I took it in. They same problem they failed that the claim they fixed came up that following week. So the probably didnt replace the dpf or doc if not they the part was bad from the manufacturer in order for it to fail a week later I have proof of all that happened a week after they claimed everything was fixed. They still said it was from engine issues but it cant be when I have proof the problem was still there. And they dont have proof of anything to back their claim on how it failed when asked to numerous times.I will be taking them to court for breach of contract for bad manufacturing parts/ failed parts and false advertisement for the failed parts and labor they claim they would issue on their end. Ill file the lawsuit in Miami dade county and issue their registered agent in *********** ******* to be served. This is unconstitutional and professional conduct and a land also will be contacting the ************* attorney general office to file a complaint with them as well. Scamming companies need to be place out of business for unscrupulous practices. Stay clear of any rush truck centers and stand up and take them to court so they know youre not afraid of them.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. I will start off by saying the RUSH Truck Center in ****** ** is the worst. They had my truck for 5 weeks and when I went to pick it up the same engine lights that were on when I dropped it off were the same lights on when I went to pick it up. I spent $9,400.00 only to pick the truck up and drive half a mile down the road all the lights came back on and the truck can only drive 45 mph. Keep in mind I do not live in *****, I am from ********** so I had to leave my truck and then pay to fly back to ***** to pick up a truck that is still not fixed. Once I realized that the truck could not accelerate past 45mph I drove it back to RUSH. I was then told that oh, maybe we need to do an oil change for the transmission. I am now very confused. You had my truck for 5 weeks and told me that it was ready for pick up and now I may need a transmission oil change. Why wasn't a test drive performed on the truck? After reading the invoice it states that your tech just started and ran the truck, and no test drive was ever done. Did you guys just clear all the lights in the dashboard? I am so disappointed! My truck is my livelihood, I could not make any money while my truck was being repaired. When I bought the truck back the Tech (Coty) keep repeating that this is now a different issue that is wrong with the truck. Ok, I understand that, but shouldn't you guys have seen that issue? I was first quoted $7,300.00 for the truck repairs then four weeks in I was told that something else was wrong and it would be an additional $2,000. Why did you guys not run another diagnostic to ensure that everything was working fine? Now I am out of $9,400 not able to pick up any loads to get me back East coast and still have a broken truck. This company is the worst!

*******, we're disappointed by your impression of our team. We aim to provide a 5-star experience and always welcome feedback that allows us to improve our services. I reviewed the repair history and spoke with our Shop ******* in ******. The truck was presented to Rush with extensive engine damage caused by a prior repair, not performed at a Rush shop. **** was instructed to only do the bare minimum to get the truck to return to the northeast. This is what **** did, quoted you and you authorized the repair. The truck still has engine issues that will need to be addressed. When you returned and picked up the truck, the transmission light came on. **** did not make any repairs to or touch the transmission in anyway. **** briefly looked at the issue and found metal in the transmission fluid filter indicating internally damaged transmission parts. This failure is separate and not related to the engine repair Rush ****** performed. You declined for Rush to look further into the issue and **** installed a new transmission fluid filter at no cost to you and did not charge you for the time the Technician spent looking at the issue. **** only did what you asked and authorized them to do.

On 0ct.15, 2022 I brought in my 2017 international with a n13 navastar engine. I had a coolant leak and they diagnosed it and said it was a blown head gasket. They held my truck hostage for over 6 weeks, with every week it was due to be done they had an excuse to why it wasnt done. Saying things like broken parts, or finding something else to fix. Here it is 12/7/22 and I just got my truck back today and I still have a coolant leak just like how it was when I brought it in. I brought it back to them explaining my problem and they told me they cant find the problem. Thank god I had a warranty because my bill was $9300 and I only had to pay $2100 of that. Please do not take your truck up to this place for service they will keep your trucks for months and wont fix your problem but will find every other thing wrong with your truck.
