I paid off my vehicle 4/17/2025. I received notice from Lexus Financial Services 4/25/2025 that my title cannot be released because the California DMV needs a letter from Maryland DMV stating that I was only registered, not titled in ******** when I lived in ******** for 1 year in 2020. I called Maryland DMV, but they said it was not protocol to provide such a letter. They were able to look up my VIN number and confirm that I do not have title in the state of ********. As my lienholder, Lexus Financial Services should also know this since they would have received a copy of the Maryland title if I indeed got one. I reached back out to Lexus Financial Services since I couldn't get a letter from ********. I escalated this case to two different Lexus resolution specialists, who promised to work on the case and get back to me within a specified timeframe. Both specialists FAILED to follow up with me and ignored my calls/e-mails. Over 1 month after paying off my car, I am still unable to drive my car since I have no title for registering my car in ********. I moved to ******** in April.

Very simply stated Toyota Financial Services is improperly reporting our outreach ministry vehicles to the credit bureaus directly/harshly impacting our Church. They refuse to correct issue because we record all calls with those whom have committed harm against us in past or have had bad dealings with us for our safety and security. *** violated our rights and spent 35 of 53 minutes threatening us on a recorded line. I did incase their blatant inaccurate information. They are not reporting that ***************** has credit with them at all. They are reporting the cosigner but not the primary borrower ****************** This is typical resoone from Toyota.  Never accept blame and lying about results. 2 entities are on our contract Primary: ***************** and Cosigner ******* ******. Cosigner is not the primary in any world. Toyota doesn't care that not filing correctly impacts our ability to buy elsewhere because after 3 loans with Toyota Greystone ******* still has no credit reported under their EIN like every other manufacturer does. Both parties get credit not just the cosigner. I don't need you to fix any errors accept your failure to report. And failure to report in timely manner. My report shows nothing for 4 months because of Toyota failings.

The issue that I am having right now is that my titling from Toyota Financial Services under this corporation had delays and a payment that was taken, that was not within the original contract such as the 40th payment from my 39 payment contract. Once I paid off the Lease of $33,027.49 which was backdated I was finally able to obtain the title. Yet, the title was still under ******** and not California in which the car has been registered for about two years now. As a military Service member and under **** there should have been some flexibility, yet after having to jump through hoops to finally obtain the title I still have landed into some problems. The next problem I have to deal with and would appreciate the help from **** is that the *** made an administrative error and placed Toyota Lease Trust as a Lien Holder and now I need a Lien release form notarized and expedited to my address. I would like a complete explanation of charges and having assistance in getting all this together as quickly and as smoothly as possible.

The corporate head quarters, said that I was late on a payment! I was sent a letter telling me that I had 30 days to pay the balance. Toyota decided on the six day of being late , that they would report my so-called late payment to the credit bureau. When they did that, it took my credit score down 65 points. They did this previously in the past, and it was not true, so Im reporting this because theyre playing with people life and somehow they have to be held accountable when theyre doing this to people. The payment is $583 which would be sent out May 15 and that will be that day 17th out of the 30 day car payment.

In 2021 I purchased a Toyota Tundra from a Toyota dealer in ******* which was financed through Toyota Financial Services. On December 1st, 2024 I moved to ******** where I am required to register my vehicle within 15 days of relocating per Ky statute KRS *******. On December 5th, 2024 I attempted to register my Tundra with the Adair County Clerk, the clerks office requested the original title from Toyota to complete the registration. The county clerks office has made multiple requests to Toyota for the title. I have called numerous times and spoken to representatives about sending the title to the clerks office, I have also sent requests in writing. I have spoken to the Indiana *** who confirmed the title was sent to Toyota multiple times, most recently on 4/15/2025. However, Toyota has failed to forward the title to the Adair County Clerks office. I have been waiting now 5 months for the title to be sent so I can register my vehicle as required by Kentucky state law. No further temporary tags will be issued which leaves my truck undrivable with no valid registration. This is totally unacceptable and is creating a significant hardship which was totally avoidable had Toyota provided the title in a timely manner. Toyota has not exercised due diligence in this matter as more than ample time has passed to provide the title.

This is in response to the complaint filed against Toyota Motor Credit Corporation (TMCC) by *** ********** regarding the title request for registration purposes on the above-mentioned account. First and foremost, we would like to extend our sincerest apologies for any frustration Mr. ********** endured when contacting our *********************** to address this same matter.

On May *******, Mr. ********** also filed a complaint via our **************** of Toyota Financial Services (LFS) regarding the same matter. Our records reflect that on December 06, 2024, Mr. ********** contacted our Toyota ******************** for a state-to-state transfer from the State of ******* to ********. Subsequently,a relocation letter was mailed to him, instructing Mr. ********** to visit his local Department Motor Vehicles along with the previous states *************** the instance the new state requires to retitle the vehicle and the original out of state title is needed, the titling authority (DMV) must submit a written request to us (the lienholder) for the title.

Following the state-to-state transfer request, our **************** promptly initiated the title process. The first title received from the Indiana -DMV was determined to be a preconversion title (VIN number error). According, our **************** initiated a duplicate title request on January 10, 2025. Pursuant to the IN-DMVs requirement, A Power of Attorney signed by Mr. ********** was necessary to proceed. Unfortunately, the title was not received by our office, necessitating further inquiry.
      .
On May 13, 2025, following an escalations request, our **************** contacted the IN-DMV, which confirmed that the title had been mailed to our Georgia address in February 18, 2025, and again on April 14, 2025, instead of the designed Texas address for title processing. As a result, the title has not been received at our ***** location. We are providing the Texas address to the IN-DMV to ensure the title is mailed to the correct location. A new Power of Attorney is now required to proceed with a third duplicate title request.

A new Power of Attorney form was sent to Mr. ********** on May 15, 2025, via ***** (Tracking number ************). We request that Mr. ********** complete and return the signed form to the Texas address specified in the documentation.Once the signed Power of Attorney is received, we will proceed with the title request and follow up the Indiana DMV accordingly.

This is in response to Toyota Motor Companys response to our complaint.

Toyota currently has a valid power of attorney (good till July 2025) from both parties. This POA was supplied to Toyota by us, in January of 2025. This POA was again supplied to Toyota on May 15th 2025. They are also attached to this response.

This **** service has been proven two times previously by Toyota when they requested duplicate Titles and failed to use the titles to remedy the requirement. Indiana *** stated to me that duplicate titles are sent to the legal address on the title, so unless Toyota changes the address on the title as required by Indiana law, the titles will never meet the legal requirements. As this lack of compliance with the law, has been going on for over 5 months now it is not just a frustration. It is causing damage to us as it is illegal to drive an unregistered vehicle.

As a result, our $60,000 Toyota is useless and a leased replacement vehicle is being arranged. Other than the reply to this BBB complaint Toyota has not attempted to correct the address issue for over 5 months.

We urge Toyota to use the proven POA in their possession to change the address on the title when requesting the third duplicate title today. Supply the Title immediately to the Court Clerk at the following address. ******************, *****************************************************************************************
