  We bought a house in March 2023 and the price jumped 3 different times! We get the house move in august and here we go with problems. Cabinet shelfs all falling down (cut to short) electrical short, bathroom fan light not working, the lighting in the bathrooms ****, ac works great heat doesnt, floor not level, (needs more braces), stove keeps popping an fail code, frames on cabinets falling off, pressure valve outside has been replaced 5 times still leaking, The first time they came out thin to get someone now no answer or email from them. 2 of my friends backed out of the deals and 1 lost 5k and the other 15k they wont give the money back. But they lower the price 25k to 35 k. FYI. I WOULDNT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE RUDE PEOPLE. THERE NICE UNTIL YOU PAY IF FULL THIN NO ANSWERS. IM GETTING A LAWYER BECAUSE THESE HAS TO STOP

  We started our contract with them back in March, placed our deposit and picked our home. The house was finally delivered in the beginning of September and it has continued to just be a complete nightmare, we get very little to no communication from the ********* which is the lady who was supposed to oversee the subcontractors and make sure things with the factory is being taken care, which she hasnt, most of my time has been spent calling these subcontractors getting information and getting things taken care of meanwhile she has no idea what is even going on. I did more updating her then she did for us, not to mention continuously lied to us throughout this process and even subcontractors expressed their problems with her in the past or came right out and told us she lied with proof of when they actually received the orders to come out. Here we are in the end of NOVEMBER, we have now made a third mortgage payment and our house is STILL not ready. We are missing doors to our rooms, window covers, a dryer vent and still dont have our skirting done. We had a major leak since SEPTEMBER and couldnt even run water, that just got fixed last week November 14th. *** expressed that we have children and had to pay rent on top of a mortgage payment for a house we cant even live in and there seems to be no care whatsoever, Ive called all that I can call who have contact to, to try and get this resolved and it has got no where. We just paid $250,000 for this home and the craftsmanship of this home is just horrible, we have completely different light switches, damage from the transport or the factory, the beams in the living room are uneven and look as though they are detaching, paint job was awful, doors and drawers dont close, some of the drawers arent even the same color, the counters in the kitchen have already started to swell and the backsplash in the kitchen is two completely different color themes. has honestly been our biggest regret.

  Less than 1 star would be a more appropriate rating. This review echo's/reinforces what you've read from the other 1-star ratings in 2023. Absolutely horrible communication and high disregard for customer satisfaction. After watching Palm Harbor's performance with my mothers home I would never, ever, go into contract with Palm Harbor. Horrible experience! Currently pushing 4-months since the unit was delivered until completion. It's highly likely it will take an additional 2 months to complete the project. This company simply doesn't care about the consumer. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy a home from Palm Harbor. Based on the reviews I've looked at this seems like a class-action lawsuit in the making.

  You would be more safe living with *************************** than buying a palm harbor home not even a year old the floor on the front side of house rotted out, have already replaced the roof after 8 yrs even the decking on the roof rotted out, water leaks from plumbing at least once every 6 mos and have have ruined floor down the middle of the house,replaced tubs already, i called them in the first year for waranty they told me they dont have to do anything there needs to be something done to them for their business practices I will tell any and everyone i know to not buy a palm harbor, they would better off homeless in a dumpster than living in one of these homes

  I just had a fantastic home buying experience, and I purchased the Horizon model. I was telling a few of my friends about how great everything went, and they told me to look of consumer affairs. A lot of these reviews are ridiculous and far-fetched. One person posted photos of the poor craftmanship in their home, and it's not even a Palm Harbor... It's a ******* Tru model. I know because it's the exact home I just moved out of and sold that actually was pretty bad. There are 38 reviews on BBB and 125 reviews on the Consumer Affairs totaling just under 160 total reviews (majority being 1 star). This company has been in business just under 50 years, and sells thousands of homes a year. I will take my chances.

  Awful Poor quality No warranty No customer service Unqualified technicians Dangerous building practices Burnt wiring in my home.Almost burnt down in the first year Zero water pressure at hose bibs Cuts from installing the vinyl floors Nails coming through the countertop

  Think twice about buying Palm Harbor if you intend to sell.they dont transfer any warranty. If they back their products whats the problem?

  At the time I bought our home. We were told palm harbor were one of the best. We've have had it for 23 years. We've had black mold in it that has started from the top where it has been put together and on the interior walls, the sky light in the bathroom fell in the floor, there were cracks in the cieling in the living room and dining room when it was installed. They sent someone to fix it but 3 months later they were back. As far the black mold, we've had to deal with it 5 or 6 times since we've had the home, also it hasn't been flooded its just the way its ventilated in the roof. My advice to anyone considering to buy, do your research, if not , it may cost you thousands over time needlessly

  I cant begin to say all the things that was/is wrong with what was suppose to be my dream home! I dealt with them till o got sick & tired of it..guess that was their intent all along..take some advice..go somewhere else to buy!

  They **** congratulating me before anything was even approved 15 days later I contacted them and then realized they sent it to too many finance company and today 5/28 notified by ************* that I was never approved in professional and I didnt authorize it and my score is screwed Dont ever use ********************************* she falsified pay and should hear something soon via text is all I ever got No STARS
