I made a **** a few months on my gaming laptop. Its an Asus Rog Strix laptop. Very good quality. Any way I was given my money, I am a regular at the EX **** at ****************. I am employed, but I couldnt retrieve my item so I have been paying fees to extend my ****. Every two weeks due on my payday. Well it was coming due August 26 of this year and I had already paid to extend til the 29th. My phone that was on file was broken so I went on that day to update all info and specifically told the lady that if my pawn(s) come due plz contact me at my new number. Mind you the manager ************ was out. Shes the best. She will always contact you to help resolve the situation and work with you. At the time I didnt know why she was out. But as I stated it was due on that date and I was in the store in person, nobody told me anything about my **** was about to be dropped. In fact I called the next day to make my payments and still the lady not mention anything but took the payment. I called every day for s week because I found it funny what I paid didnt add up to 3 gaming laptops, I have other items in ****. I didnt find out *** my due date on the 23th that not only was laptop dropped but put on layaway. And nobody wants to take responsibility for this error on their behalf. ************ doesnt treat her customers that way and she is loyal and professional. She explained what happened and why she was out. Surgery. I want my laptop back. Its very expensive and for me to be treated like that and no one had decency to speak up is very unprofessional and it cots us. Not them. Thank you.Business Response

I received a call from a collection company stating that a loan was taken out in my name for $700 in March 2017 with EZCorp/EZMoney. Stating the bank info given was with US Bank. I do not have a US Bank account and the collection company would not give me any other info including how to get a hold of EZCorp. I have looked online and found several different numbers in which I was unable to get a hold of a live person no matter what option I picked. The collection company is stating they are planning to take me to court and I can't get any information about this loan that I did not take. I need to make a police report as this is fraud and I need to have the company give me more specifics.Business Response

We received a call from ********************* on 08/26/2022 at 2:02:07 PM CDT. Customer support spoke to **** in regards to a collection call she received. Customer support looked up ********************* and explained she is not in our system showing she was ever one of our customers, nor is she in our online debt sale list. I went today 08/24/2022 to **** my ring but ********* and ********************* me that they don't know what kind of metal was that on the ring had a stamp of 18k but when they put the acid dont resist but the 14k acid it stay and dont erase the line but they said that they cant take it, but I tell them even do I bought it from other ezpawn downtown and this is the barcode ************ so what are you telling me is that Ezpawn is selling fake rings, I only want my money back what I paid for this ring was $235.Business Response

I pawned 3 firearms in January. Have paid all pawns on time. I have went in three times over the last two weeks to complete background checks to get them back. ****, twice reported she sent the checks in. When ATF was contacted after the third one was sent in, I was informed that ATF did not receive the first two sent in. I now have to pay another month of pawns and am still waiting to be able to get my firearms back. I need assistance with this as well as to know what action I can take against the assistant manager, ****.Business Response

The store has been working with Caden for the 3rd time now. He told **** ******************* that no one told him about the **** but *** said that thats not true because she told him when he pawned one of his firearms and that we are PROCEED only. They have sent the ***** 3x now and for 2 x the response has come back UNRESOLVED. Under loan is a Kimber 45, Palmetto AR and a Remington shotgun. I will call tomorrow and will let him know the steps that have been taken in regards to the law and that we are a proceed only company. Regards.

Update: Sent: Wednesday, August 17, 2022 1:31 PMMr. ************************* had a warrant for his arrest for speeding tickets.
I did not call him yesterday because I was trying to understand the situation and after hearing that the *** was started again I waited to hear what the response was.
8/16 afternoon SM *********************** ran the **** *** a 4th time and the response was Unresolved/ Invalid ID.
8/17 ****************** and his mother came into the store and dealt with SM *********************** and he explained to them that we are a Proceed only company and that we are going to follow the law and must wait for a Proceed.
SM *********************** also told them that we would waive a months interest once we received a PROCEED, but must continue to keep loans current.
At that time Mr. ************************* handed them a receipt from the *** stating that his warrant was paid.
I was able to do some research and found out that the court system and the *** are two separate entities and that:
****************** must check with ***************** Records to check if record is clear/ no more warrants.
****************** must satisfy ALL requirements with the *** before license is reinstated
After license is reinstated he must apply for a new license
But license will remain suspended until requirements are satisfied.
At that point I called him and told him what I was able to find out, but everything now is up to him to make sure that he gets his record clear and then after that he can come down again and we can gun his Background Check again.

I had just returned from vacation and I wanted to pay off my **** loans and I realized that I had ***** mins to get there before they closed. I made it 5 mins prior and they were starting to lock the doors with people still inside I asked the gentleman if they were closed and he stated yes and just closed the door and didnt allow me to pick up my belongings while technically they were still open. I got a hold of their corporate made a complaint and now I lost some of my belongings waiting on them to actually give me an answer if they violated their own **** contractBusiness Response

On Saturday 7-30-22, I went to EZ Pawn on *********************************************************************************** to retrieve a firearm that I pawned. The manager, ***************************, who attempted to assist me was very rude initially accusing me of possessing a fake ID. I have done business with this location on many occasions, with different customer service representatives, using the same identification. However on today, the manager refused to allow me to retrieve my firearm. After I explained that I used this same identification several times to **** the same firearm, the manager rudely told me my license was too damaged. I have used this same identification each and every time I visited this store and I was not aware of any problems concerning my drivers license. The service I received today was very unprofessional and unsatisfactory. I would really like to retrieve my firearm using the same identification that I currently possess. On July 25th at 4:00 ez pawn employees were rude as I was asking for help they started to say no before I even pulled out my items in my black bag I had not been rude at the start I have mental health problems and accidentally raised my voice when I had told her " I know" so they both told me that I should leave as I proceeded to ask for help they refused.why should they work there if they are writing people off by a simple hello and a mistaken outburst that is uncontrollable. I lowered my voice after I realized I was wrong but they still would not help in the way that those employees should when a customer in need comes in.Business Response

I purchased a gun from value **** in ******* only to find out that it was inoperable. I called the pawnshop and spoke to the gentleman that deals with guns and he said that I would have to call back and speak with the manager but it's really nothing that they could do. I asked if I could exchange it for something else and he said that I would not be able to. No exchanges. No refunds! I'm filing this complaint because I'm stuck with a gun that I paid over $700 for that I am not able to use and I am not getting any help from the store resolve this issue. Originally I didn't think I would have a problem because they always allow you to make the turns or changes within a 24 hour period. On 2/27/22, I pawned My ring with Ez pawn. I went to pick the ring up on 7/14/22. I was charged $116.20 when I should have paid $104.26 Per your stores paperwork, finance charges are charged in 30 day periods ONLY. From 4/27-7/14 is exactly 2 months and 14 days, so how was I charged for 90 days of finance charges? This is the third time I have had to complain about this stores math.
