****-FM/iHeartRadio advertised that ticket prices for their WingoTango event would increase after April 16, encouraging consumers to buy immediately to avoid higher costs. I purchased 2 tickets through *** based on this urgent messaging. However, after April 16, ticket prices actually decreased by $56 per ticket, directly contradicting their advertisement. This was clearly a deceptive marketing tactic that misled consumers into buying early. When I contacted ******* multiple times to address the issue, I received no response. Shortly after I began to raise concerns, they deleted the advertisements from their social media, which further suggests acknowledgment of ************* requesting that iHeartMedia/iHeartRadio issue a full/partial refund or credit for the price difference due to their false and time-sensitive advertising that led to financial harm. I have screenshots and documentation of the ad and price change and am happy to provide them upon request.Business Response

Our VP of marketing, ****** ******** has been in contact with *********:
The price reduction she was upset about actually occurred on April 5th, as opposed to after the April 15th promotion as indicated below. She didnt realize that as she had not been back to the ticket purchasing site since the day she bought her tickets. When she went back on April 16th and saw the cheaper ticket, she assumed it had just been added. She understands that piece now. We are connecting with our social team to make sure listener questions are being answered as a rule. She expressed some additional concerns about things she encountered on site that were also causing her frustration. We offered her tickets to next years show (as our guest) in which she accepted. ********* has ******** contact info for future communication.Initial Complaint

I have been receiving spam emails from the email address *************** from Power 97.5 LA, a substation of iHeartMedia, since at least August of 2024. I have attempted to unsubscribe using the link provided in the emails several times. I have reported this to them several times. I have reported this to the *** several times.I continue to receive spam emails from them. This is unacceptable and they refuse to help.Initial Complaint

Treated badly, first by the sales *** ***** ****** (more than once), then treated like scum and a liar by president ****** *******, who took up for ***** and acted as if I were the one in the wrong.***** basically fired our company and told us "we have decided to pass on this business", even though we were just 3 weeks away from our first of two concerts. She only did this after she broke her word, lied to me, said she never told me she would get me recordings before next week, and that she was on vacation for a wedding. I then asked for her managers information and she would not respond. I asked again via text, and that's when she turned down our business and fired us. The following day I reached out to ****** ******* who I knew from many years back at Clear Channel radio, and ****** immediately took ******* side, said I was lying, and basically treated me like scum. She was on speaker phone and others witnessed the conversation on our end. Once we hung up, we were all in disbelief. On several occasions I asked ****** for a new *** and ****** refused saying she would handle our account. I requested a new *** again because we felt so belittled and our business was definitely not appreciated. Could you imagine spending eight grand for advertising two concerts and being treated like a red headed step child? Like scum? I also sent ****** an email expressing my disappointment. And they did not adhere to our original agreement for ticket giveaways. they changed it to online only and did it 3-4 weeks before the show, instead of on-air and the week prior to the show. How can you have these types of cocky arrogant people employed with your company who treat customers like dirt?Initial Complaint

I have and use iHeart Radio on my TV. Yet over the last 3 months, the company has began sending emails to my email account on a daily basis. Every time I hit unsubscribe, their page comes up "404 Page not found." I went on ********** and saw that numerous user have this same issue: When the user attempt to unsubscribe from *********************************************, it takes you to a "page not found" error message. Since this has persisted over the last 3 months, it is obvious to me that the company refuses to honor my request to NOT receive spam emails. This behavior is wrong!Business Response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that although this resolution does not solve the greatwr issues of allowing the consumer to opt out of iHeart Radio Spam emails within the email itself, the resolution of the company taking me off of their spam emails is satisfactory to me.

Over A year ago we were approached by ************ to use as our advertising agency. They required very large increase in our advertising budget but promised to deliver a tsunami of business. They said right now we only have a small wave. This was personally promised by the marketing president. We agreed and signed a contract with them. After several months of actual decreased business and traffic we had to beg to end our contract. And even after not delivering anything for us they are demanding ****** for two months of service. collections and contact from them have become aggressive. We have tried to talk to management several times to explain our side but its a dead end. Now we are unable to advertise our business and management will not communicate with us. We showed up for a meeting at their own office and they no showed us. Also, I would like to add this is our first BBB report ever. Im not exactly sure at this moment how much we did pay them but Im thinking it was around ******. I can confirm that though. At this time we are requesting them to drop our contract. They can keep the money we have paid for the short period of time we advertised with them & that they allow us to advertise on their affiliated channels in the future. Thank you!Business Response

There is an ad for a **** Bronco, with a young woman talking about how fun her Bronco is, and that she and her fianc go for hikes and picnics, etc.. BUT the beginning of her telling us how fun this vehicle is, she stars by saying its a NEW YEAR bla, bla, bla. Hello! It August 11th. We have listened to this ad for over 8 months. Clean it up . By the way, she sounds like she is reading a s riot or a teleprompter. It dives me crazy. I turn off my volume until I know she is done.Business Response

In May of this year (2024) My husband (************************) received a phone call *************) stating he won 2nd prize in a contest he entered. It was $1000 gift card to a few select businesses...we selected *******************. Our response back was from *************************************** stating he would get back to us about how or when we could get it. One month later we contacted him again and he said they were at an event and someone would get back to us....we've heard nothing since then...we have sent several emails but all have gone unanswered. We just want to use that gift card to help with some things around our house....I just don't understand why this is so hard....I just want my husband to have what they told him he won. Thank You for your time.Initial Complaint

We've reviewed ******* complaint and we're sorry the ad was offensive. That is never the intention. I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
*********************** *****The commercial is repetitive. I hear it so much on the radio that I was able to video it with my phone. In the commercial, it is three adults..two men and one woman. They are all talking about whacking their air conditioner. Its very inappropriate.
