      I don't want to give any stars. I got approved for this card months ago and never received it in the mail. I have called several times and always get transferred and put on hold, nobody will do anything. In the meantime I am being charged late fees on the charge to open the card and I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THE **** IN THE FIRST PLACE AND I CANT GET ANYONE TO SEND A NEW ONE. I was transferred to a "specialist " at one point who was supposed to help me. She just wanted to focus on getting me to make a 75 dollar payment on my account to keep it current and did not waive all the late charges. I told her I will make a payment as soon as I have a card in my hand that I never had in the first place. This company is fraud and robbing people. Making my credit score go down. I don't see how this is legal. I even try to get online and deal with this but the login will not let me in. I will make a police report about this for my records this is not right.

      What ever you do,,,DON'T GET THIS CARD ,, I have been hung up on numerous times trying to get double charges taken care of , 2 weeks later still not resolved

      Their customer service is horrible. All the information they gave me is conflicting, and because I ask for documentation it was an issue. Not only that, I asked to speak to a manager and was told that I would have to leave a voicemail and I still havent received a call yet. DO NOT OPEN A CC WITH THIS COMPANY

      0 STARS. I HAVE HAD A CREDIT ON MY ACCOUNT BUT MY CARD CONSTANTLY GETS DECLINED. its EMBARRASSING. Every single time I call customer service they take all my information but transfer transfer transfer. No one can do anything but take my information. Im trying to close my account and cant even get anyone to do that. I hate them for real.

      Merrick Bank phone customer service is on of the worst there is. I requested a new card over 2 months ago. I was told they were upgrading their credit cards to master card. And that I would receive my card by July 17, 2022. Today is July 29th. I still haven't received my new card. I didn't want to call them because you're kept waiting too long. And you help your problem is resolved. I spoke with a representative after waiting 15 minutes. When I requested to speak with a manager. He started over talking me. He switched me to speak with someone else. I found out I would be waiting an additional 30 minutes. I called from another phone. I spoke with Rose who informed me that I would receive my new card by August 22nd. This is another 3 weeks plus before I receive my new card. I'm still making my payments every month. I don't have a card to use. And I don't know if I will receive the card or not. I requested to speak with someone else. This is supposed to take an additional 30 minutes. I'm still waiting after 30 minutes still no answer. I'm going to call from another phone and see how it takes. 10 more minutes and I'm going to hang up and forget the new card. It's not worth the constant inconveniences.

      Merrick Bank "customer service" is nonexistent. When you call, you will go through a recorded message offering various options. All the while, you will be barraged with messages advising you to go to their website or download their app. If you are lucky enough to finally make it through lengthy wait times and get a real human, you will once again have to give your card number, etc. The call center must be somewhere abroad because their employees are not very competent English-speakers. I was transferred all over the place and finally, lost the call. Upon calling again and going through the same BS, the recording again told me the wait time was greater than 30 minutes. This has now happened about 6 times. Their website has very limited interactivity. There are no chat or email options. Now I guess I'll write to their headquarters to see if that works. Merrick Bank, ***************** ******************************************************. In this day and age Merrick Bank is far behind. Pitiful and pathetic. Totally unacceptable.

      Less than a star . Company is a joke .. I've paid off my balance every month and now there transferring to Mastercard and supposedly I have the same balance I did 3 months ago and my card is frozen .. customer service is a joke .. they can't answer a single question

      I needed a credit card as part of my process to by a house. I applied to Merrick Per my Lender. Once applied I received a congratulations email. Bottom of email my Application was Pending per verification of my identity. So I waited on an email for 2weeks and tried calling I finally got intouch with the Bank in order to receive another number and wait time on phone. Once I spoke to somone thats when I was told that my $250. Unsecure Approvel was Declined the day I called because noone was able to get in touch with me over the phone for 21days. I then ask why I didnt receive an email in addition to the phone call. Their customer service representatives aren't professional (He hung up on me) once you talk outside of their Script that they constantly repeat and doesn't satisfy the customer.

      Starter card and thats it, once you have credit established. Get rid of this card. It does nothing but charge you monthly payments and has no actual benefits of using the card.

      Worse management of any credit card company. I have requested management to call me for 3 months with 6 attempts. I make sure CS logs my calls. They state they can only email management and then we are supposed to get a call within ***** hours and it has literally been 3 months. Most CS are nice and feel bad about management for not contacting but they can not do anything. Stay away from this credit card company.
