      Let me explain how unprofessional this company is just to even make a payment is stressful. Every single time I call its a different story, the never can keep prior messages or information in order about your account. I beg anyone, dont waste your time with this company. It really needs to be shut down, I closed both my accounts and never again!!!!

      What a joke. Sends my card to the wrong address. A month later I get a new one. Which is apparently frozen. I call 4 times to unfreeze it with a 45 min wait each time. I finally get a hold of someone weeks later and he says the card is good to go. Except its actually not. I cant use the card at all. And you keep sending me late fees. Why would I pay for a card I cant use?! Currently on the phone with them and guess what, she hangs up on me because she has absolutely no idea how to resolve the issue. Got an attitude saying the account was past due. Of course it is!!! I cant use it! Seriously the worst company I have ever had to deal with.

      All Im trying to do is get a new cards sent out and waiting 4 hrs now for something simple no charges on card just lost it and need a new one sent out and customer care not answering

      I only gave 1 star bc I had to.. I was approved for this card in May they supposedly sent the card to an address I had 5 years (that was not used for my application) Needless to say I NEVER received the card. I called several times after the 10 days (the card was supposed to arrive) I was placed on hold for no less than an hour and ******************************************** July I was able to update my address thinking I was going to have a card sent to me but to my surprise I received a **** for $155 and no card I continued to call and report no card but was given the run around of them saying I can only talked to card services for a card I have sent emails, requested a supervisor and remained on hold for hours to be disconnected and no resolution.. I am now getting hit on my credit report for non payment when I cant make a payment bc I dont have an account number.. ************ needs to be shut down or sued for loss damages they are causing people.Today is August 8th and I still have yet to receive any help

      **************** is terrible! Every time I call it's ***** minute wait times, them you are lucky if you don't get hung up on. Probably not going to be keeping this card as it is all but impossible to contact them if there is an issue. I've had to call several times regarding the same issue and my time is more important than this! I work and don't have time to sit on hold forever.

      I had to call their 2 customer service numbers 9 times in order to get my issue resolved. I called to report my card lost and was disconnected 3 times. I finally spoke to a representative *** reported my card lost only to find out on my next conversation with another rep several days later that a new card was ordered but never put through as lost. The rep that informed me of that did not ask me any information to verify who I was. I was transferred to an area that was going to expedite me getting a card. I sat unhold for over 2 hours. When I finally spoke to that representative who actually knew what she was talking about She told me that they were going to order a rushed card for me and that I would not pay the replacement fee to rush. 2 days later I received an email that my card was sent and I was being charged for the rushed card fee. I called customer service again and spoke with the woman that could hardly speak English And had apparently no concern in rectifying the situation. I asked several times about how the situation of me being charged the rushed day was going to be rectified. She basically told me she had no desire to do anything. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on. The lack of professionalism and concern on the part of these representatives is absolutely appalling. I have worked in finance and banking for 25 years. I understand that banks outsource and also have people working from home. When I call however I Don't like the fact that I hear the representative cursing and screaming at someone when they think the call is disconnected. There was no corporate email address and no corporate phone number. This is the one way I can rate this bank.and maybe warn other customers. It may also get their attention. I am going to copy this and send it registered mail to the legal department As well as the ************** *******************

      From May 2019 to June 2020, Ive never missed a payment. I missed a payment in June, and Merrick bank charged me a minimum of $165 even though I just missed one month. Then I had to pay ********************* good standing. Total Disappointment. Capitalism for Ya. And they are saying theres nothing they can do about it because it is how they arrange their new Late policy. I keep repeating myself like an idiot I only miss one month, one month, one month, and youre going to charge me $165.

      After 6 years with never a late payment, I request a credit increase as my Mother just died. Terrible wait time, then to be told they will have to review it and get back to me some time in the future. I'll tell them that the next time they want a payment. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH MERRICK BANK.

      it take so long very long to try to get dispute taking care of when you be on hold for 30 min and still have to wait again for another 30 min on charges that not yours and that the fraud department there sorry also . ***** b

      I have been with Merrick bank credit card for a while now. I make my payments always on time. This past month on July 13 I paid my balance off $622.97. I now get a **** for ***** which is a purchase of $8.00 on July 11 and $10.03 interest. I called to have them correct it since the $8 we're included in my $622.97 payment and ask for an explanation of interest accrued on the 17 of July when the account was paid off on the ******************************************************************************************************** She apparently got upset because I said I was going to put a bad review on the service from Merrick bank and their associates. Besides the fact of charging interest on an account that is paid off. For everyone out there if you have Merrick bank credit card be cautious because when you least expect it you owe money.
