Cricket Wireless is where I have My Phone service through but I kept on having issues with Samsung and Motorola Phones at their business, but I couldn’t afford another Phone I’m disabled and only get paid once per month, they pulled out this Pamphlet they had which featured their Graphics’s and said I could fill out the Paperwork and possibly get Credit through them to get an iPhone, never had an iPhone so I filled it out thinking they would deny Me like everyone else but they didn’t; they offered Me $1,400.00 in Credit. Payment was only supposed to be $80.00 per month which I was happy with but now they are charging $147.00 per month that I cannot afford. Customer Service will not answer the Phone to speak with Me, now they won’t answer Cricket either, I need the Phone but that Payment is way too high; seems to Me like they take advantage of people who need help by saying one thing but then do another and Cricket needs to distance themselves from these people before it effects them. I’m going to Cricket today to figure out how to deal with this, do I change My Debit Card number and walk away who knows but I gotta do something because I cannot pay this it’s almost double what was promised it would be.Business Response

They’re charging approx $200 more than the retailer informed me and refuse to help find a resolution. The companies they work with is a reflection of their own and if their company is providing false information about a lease, and the leasing company doesn’t care to make it right, it feels like cheating and scamming customers out of way more money than originally promised.Business Response

In June of 2025 I was approved for a lease and paid $21.19 for the down payment. All was good until the item arrived defective and returned the item. Return was accepted on June 22, 2025 by the store BestBuy. Called Progressive Leasing today(July 10, 2025) about the down payment refund as there website says they charge no Fees! I was told that my down payment was not refundable as the item was returned within 5 days. This is robbery, send A defective item back and get no refund is WRONG! I will never use Progessive Leasing again and Do Not recommend this company! Sad and Disappointed!Business Response

I purchased 2 items with Progressive Leasing at Best Buy. I went to return 1 item but Best Buy told me that the return window ended. When I spoke to Progressive they told me I would have to return both items to cancel this lease. The other item I want to keep was a gift for my child and I am not about to take it away from her. That makes 0 sense for me to return both items to get out of a lease just to buy the item again that I want to keep. Now I am stuck paying for an item that I don’t even want and this is unacceptable. I signed up for a lease through Progressive Leasing based on information provided by one of their representatives. The representative gave me unclear and misleading details about the timing and amount of the initial payment. I was told the charge would not be taken immediately, but it was and this unexpected withdrawal caused serious financial hardship.
After realizing the payment had already been taken, I contacted Progressive right away to cancel the lease and request a refund. I explained that I would not have agreed to the lease if the information had been clearly communicated. Progressive responded by conducting an internal review, but ultimately denied my request, claiming it was not eligible for cancellation.
I believe this situation qualifies as misrepresentation or failure to disclose key information, which influenced my decision under false assumptions. I do not believe I should be financially responsible for an agreement made under confusion and poor communication.

I purchased furniture from American Signature in Bear DE. I was advised that using Progressive Lending would be helpful as they report to the Credit Bureaus since I didn’t have any credit of my own. So the furniture was delivered to my home on April 24, 2025. The sectional sofa I purchased would not fit down the steps to take to my family room so I sent it back but kept the other pieces of furniture which was a sofa and recliner. I went to Signature Furniture and couldn’t find anything else I liked. I called the store to request my refund. Apparently no one put that in the system. I received an email from Progressive. Called them advised them I had not found anything else I liked a,d they pa were to have refunded me. So I called American Signature Furniture and the woman told me she had just spoken to someone from Progressive and she would call them redo the paperwork so everything would be adjusted. Today they are trying to take the money out of my Band Account cfor All of the Furniture. I’ve been on hold for the past 20 minutes for a Supervisor. I intend on doing a Google review and contacting the news media about them’Business Response

I filed a fraudulent dispute on 3/17/25. I am a victim of identity theft - someone purchased a couch through Progressive Leasing using my personal information, including my banking details. I made a purchase through ******"s furniture which cost ********. progressives payment same as cash or no interest leading me to believe I would not be charged more than the sticker price. I paying more than the sticker price. I was never made aware that I would be paying 2x the amount for the item. I was never made aware of the extra money I would have to pay for the item. Legal case: *** V. Prog Leasing I was only shown the cash of the item not the initial and periodic payments. I applied on line. they were deceptive and these deceptive practices never showed the full price details which was hidden behind a dropdown arrow labeled "Additional lease" Details these deceptive practices were the true cost of the payment plan, was not readily disclosed, violated Section 5 of the *** Act , U.S.C. 45 in the marketing offering for sale, or sale of Rent to **** products.Business Response
