I purchased a 1 hour health consultation with the pompa program hoping to shed some light on my husband's negative health symptoms and the root of them. The health consultation was sold as being worth $500 and being reduced to $167. However, there was no expert advice or health help whatsoever but was rather a sales pitch for a $6,000-7,000 program that the pompa program offers. If I wanted to listen to a sales pitch, I would not have paid $167 to do so and I feel it's completely dishonest to convince someone you are helping them with a health consultation and then spend that time listening to their symptoms and convincing them they need to spend $6,000-$7,000 to actually receive any advice or help. I contacted them to request a refund and they ignored my e-mail.

I signed up for The Pompa Program with a discount and payment plan. I am a breast cancer survivor who experienced multiple symptoms from chemo. One of these symptoms is short-term memory loss. The program became more and more complicated with timed detox supplements before meals and a schedule of 3 days on, 4 days off of supplements. I experienced worsening symptoms and could not keep up with the schedule. Also, I was not told before I signed up that I would need to use a ketones monitor. The program is expensive. $6-7,000 for six months. The company was deducting monthly amounts from my checking acct. my oncologist advised me to drop the program and go back to my normal diet. I contacted the program today to ask to cancel. The girl on the other end flatly told me that the contract clearly states that I owe the full amount after 3 coaching calls. Naturally, this upset me. The girl hung up on me. But the worst part is that they deducted the remaining $2,677.78 from my checking account without authorization. They left me next to nothing to live on this month. This company is out for money and lacks integrity. They leave no wiggle room for canceling. Desperate people sign up for this. Obviously, it’s not going to be a good fit for everyone. They claim they have to do this due to the intellectual property of Dr Pompa. My bank has filed a dispute with the company.

      Business Response

      Date: 03/29/2023

********,  we are devastated to learn of your BBB Complaint and how things were handled when you reached out to cancel your program.
The individual that you mentioned in your BBB Complaint certainly did not handle our request well at all, matter of fact we learned of her approach with other clients as well and determined that she was not a good culture fit.  She was let go in November 2022.
That does not take away from what you went through, for that I am truly sorry.  IF I would have known I certainly would have considered wiggling with our contract and your cancellation.
I would like to speak with you personally and discuss the dispute that was mentioned in your complaint.  I believe we can find a fair settlement regarding your program.
