Health equity customer support is kind and professional and tries their hardest to fix problem that a broken system causes. I have tried multiple times to get an issue fixed with my account which involves them refusing to pay any claims remaining towards the remaining balance in my *** because they "have paid the maximum benefit" which would be ok if they didnt pay a claim partially only to later deny that claim and use the money from future claims to pay back the remainder in what they denied. This has left me with ******************************************************************************************************************* the account and but do not want to take into account that they took back 313 dollars of that which they paid. I am upset that a company that is supposed to help alleviate the stress of our high deductibles is using loopholes to hurt the consumer for their own benefitHealthEquity, Inc.

Their business office doesn't log receipt of checks nor transfers of them. They returned a check for me to a local bank they had held for 75 days - didn't record receipt of it, and didn't record return of it. In their transmittal to the bank, they said it was being returned because I couldn't be reached. HealthEquity denied having said this, *even though that was the reason stated on their letter of transmittal.* Their customer services are good but their business office is dangerously sloppy and in desperate need of an audit review. A replacement check was issued, and they didn't log that one, either - at least not until I raised **** about it. An internal audit at the very least is called for. And as to apologies: I was lied to repeatedly and luckily had their own documents to verify it. And yet they still haven't posted the replacement check. They initially wanted me to wait an additional two months for processing - *for their error.* Remarkably sloppy. They need a professional review.HealthEquity, Inc.

I had a simple request - to unlock my account (flubbed password) so that I could enter time-sensitive data into their portal. They have a new company policy where NO ONE can help you unlock your account for "security reasons". They have a blanket policy that accounts will be locked for 5 hours! I spoke with a supervisor and asked to file a formal complaint, and was not contacted about filing this complaint. As if Health Equity wasn't difficult to get a hold of or log into on a regular basis they introduce a further means of blocking users from being able to use their product. Every time I deal with them my experience is terrible.HealthEquity, Inc.

Its abundantly clear that theyve neglected to invest in the user platform. Its extremely difficult to navigate, the time out and login issues have been pervasive, and password requirement is onerous. I couldnt think of a worse commuter/FSA/HSA platform to use.HealthEquity, Inc.

1 starHealthEquity is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I have been trying to close my account back since 12/2024. My first experiance was HealthEquity tried to send me a card to use when I clearly stated I wanted a check mailed. I sent the fax document info into them and after many months I contaced them and they had no information. I proceeded to resend the fax document, April 2025, and apperantly an area of the fax couldn't be read. Didn't hear from them due to the fact they were sending to an email where I left employment over a year ago. HealthEquity knew this because speaking to there ***resentatives they understood my situation and wanting to cancel. On May 20 2025 I reissued the fax after I called back to them checking on statues. This time there is a deduction in the amount owed to me. This is fraud! I stated this and the next day I called back and to verify the fax was legible and yes it was. I mentioned about the amount that should be owed to me but the *** was no help. Jue 4 2025 called back to check on status and just found out they need a voided check. No mentionof this in previous conversations. Now two things 1st there will be another reduduction in payment because of the amount of time and 2nd I'm upset and having to reach out in this way.Review frombret h

1 starI have never been able to use the service to pay for any medical bills. After confirming your identity over the phone, customer service is unable to restore account access, make changes to any user account information (email/phone number), advise of investment balance, or tell you your account number over the phone. They charge a monthly account fee, account closure fee, statement printing fees, as well as about 30 other misc fees. They pay no meaningful interest on cash balance. The service is totally and completely useless. Use any other *** provider.Review fromCamille E

I had them years ago and they were great. Claims were reimbursed in a timely manner. My new employer uses them and now they are slow to process claims. They require and excessive and unreasonable amount of paperwork and will deny the claim if they can. They act like the money in the account wasn't mine to begin with and doesn't come out of my paycheck.HealthEquity, Inc.

1 starI contacted Health Equity on April 1, 2025, to report an issue with my HSA and FSA accounts. Despite enrolling only in an HSA for 2025, both an HSA and FSA were activated, which is not legally allowed. I was assigned case numbers ******** and ********, and although I received notice that the cases were resolved, the issue remains unresolved.Additionally, I had about $171.52 in my 2024 *** and submitted a bill payment request using those funds. The bill was not paid, and the funds may have been incorrectly rolled over into a 2025 *** (there is no record)again, something I'm not legally allowed to have while enrolled in an ***. This mistake can have financial and legal consequences for my family and me, yet the company has failed to correct it.I am requesting immediate resolution and a full explanation of how funds are being handled.Review fromJacob M

HealthEquity's business model appears to include keeping clients' medical funds captive for as long as possible, wrongfully if needed. I requested an account closure in February and it has taken over 3 months so far and I still have not been able to get my funds out. I filled out the closure form in February with HealthEquity staff on the other line, they reviewed the form after I submitted it and said it was good to go. It turned out that there was a minor typo in the city name for the transfer entity ("Forgo" vs. "Fargo") and I had to resubmit the entire form and wait another 4 weeks. Notification of the error and blocked transfer was not properly conducted by HealthEquity and they have failed to make things right, instead opting to waste hours of my time on the phone and holding onto my money for as long as possible. I'd give zero stars if possible. With all the unfairness and crookedness in the US medical industry, HealthEquity deserves a spot right up there near the top.HealthEquity, Inc.
