Unfortunately my company decided to use this company for paying HSA contributions. They hold $25 in reserve for "closure fee'. They are holding on to my money withut my agreement because I might someday need to close the account. With behavior like that I would like to close my account and have my company pay the money into an ethical HSA instead.

Can I give them ZERO stars? I submitted a payment through their online portal for $2k + to a provider. They mailed a check in July!!! Well, they said they did. The provider never received it. I have called 3 times and sent 2 emails to try to place a stop payment and get a credit and have gotten no response, even though it was "escalated" to a manager. Of course, there were no notes in my account saying I even called. Don't sign up for an HSA if they use HealthEquity unless you just want to throw your money away.

In previous employment, I had experience with other companies handling transportation benefits. WageWorks is by far the worst service I have encountered. When I signed up, my paycheck deductions started on time (August 2022). However, I had not heard from WageWorks and never received a supposed welcome mail with login information (HR/my employer do not have access to this) checked my spam folder, touched base with HR, etc. My HR department told me to keep a lookout for the WageWorks welcome email it never came. I tried multiple times to set up an account on WageWorks using my information, but received an error message each time. I was able to find the customer service number (not listed in WW but in HealthEquity) to get help, and magically my account was opened using the exact same login information I was using before but that was previously rejected. I was able to set up an account on August 31st with the assumption that I would be able to use my deductions from August 15th and 31st towards my September parking payment (which I had already paid). After about 2 HOURS with 3 representatives, they clarified that I missed their deadline policy of applying for the 10th of the previous month to set up my reimbursement for September (I did not have access to the platform August 10th because the company never communicated with me). My deductions are still taking place (pausing deductions will result in unenrolling in WW), so I have had $280 deducted August and will have another $280 in September. The $280 in September will be used for the month ahead, October. I cannot apply for more than $280 a month in parking reimbursement, so the August $280 is not available to me in the current month as long as I keep up my monthly parking. It is only applicable to future payments, which are already covered by my current deductions. It cannot be returned and I cannot use it for reimbursement as I was not "signed **" in their portal for an order the month it was deducted. AVOID!

HealthEquity/WageWorks refuses to follow up on vendors who do not provide services. It tells you you must first try to resolve issues with vendors, then (when vendor is slow to respond or does not respond) says it is too late to dispute the payment with HE/WW! So, the vendor did not provide the service for which the customer paid through HE/WW. And HE/WW could care less. In fact in a =n email (no reply possible!) it misrepresented the nature of the dispute! Normal credit companies are far more responsive to disputes.

The mobile application is unintuitive and frequently results in error messages. The website is frequently unavailable and therefore submitting a claim is often a several day process. Excessive documentation is frequently requested. Reimbursement takes weeks.
