      Misleading and neglectful customer service, maybe even fraudulent. Keep reading for the full story:All of this started with a misleading conversation. I called Health Equity asking:"How do I roll over balance from an old HSA?"their answer:"Yes, fill out this transfer request form"NEVER DO! ..... I assumed they are taking ownership of this process, and that if more info is needed or something is wrong, someone will let me know.Months pass and I notice my balance does NOT see the rollover. I call back and they say they don't have ANY record of my request. When we find the forms, they say it is filled out wrongly, like it was my fault. So fill out again and wait. Apparently the process normally takes 6-8 weeks (a transaction in 2022 needs 2 MONTHS and goes over FAX numbers, REALLY??).After a couple of months, SAME thing happens. I call, new employee, same reaction: no record, please fill out AGAIN. At this point, I refuse and escalate to a manager, but they are just as powerless and non-apologetic and say I need to reach out myself to the old HSA. It has been over 6 months now, still no transfer and no taking responsibility of this process.How can they loose a pdf? sent several times? even after they confirmed receipt via email? Ask after 2 months, and the pdf disappeared! I don't know what software they use, but in 2022 you expect that the ABILITY TO STORE a PDF would be bullet proof. We are not in the 1980s.What makes me most upset is that if I hadn't been keeping track of this after filling out your forms, no transfer would have happened (for unknown reasons), and probably FORGOTTEN for years, and my contributions would have potentially DISAPPEARED in the ether of "inactive accounts", and Health Equity would NOT HAVE EVEN CARED that their customer lost thousands of dollars of contributions, forgotten in their untracked bureaucratic system. To let this process be stuck and go silent for months unless I reach out is WRONG, and FRAUDULENT.

      99% Horrible nightmarish reviews. Each one I can relate to completely. The 1% that are positive have to be employees sending in reviews. Zero customer service contact. Just an email saying your submittal has been processed. Unless you call them directly youll never know the status of any claim. And good luck when you do call. Not one person in ****** Services can provide anything consistent. Each person is working off a completely different script and others are just winging it based on how their day is going. Elderly *********** participants are put through the wringer each month trying to adapt to ever changing requirements and technology changes. They make it so hard to get reimbursed that I imagine many must just die along the way. And to those who have died I would say you are the lucky ones. The rest of us who are amongst the living are still fighting the good fight until our number is called and we will finally be relieved of the monthly torture that is Health Equity.

      They kept rerouting my call when I was trying to make a payment on my account and each time I had to confirm my identity and private information with a different person. They handled a simple and straightforward process very unprofessionally which is why I'm leaving this bad review.

      My son passed away, called them , never any condolences , they said to send in a death certificate, a small estate form so i could get the funds and then the check would be made to me because he didnt have a will Did all that , no response, emailed and they said he didnt have anything, finally got a ****** who i think is a manager, submitted the paperwork again to her. I finally get a check, made to the estate.. I tell her i cant cash that, and the small estate form i sent to her instructed them to pay me, not the estate. And never any condolences from her at all Nothing happens, no check, i keep emailing her and calling her, but no check. Y.es, I agree with so many, they are one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. If you can find anyone else to do a hsa with, do it!

      This company is so disorganized that I encourage every employer to stay away from them, in order to avoid an embarrassment towards your employees. After 3 mnths there are still employees who have not received their commuter benefit card, while the amounts have been charged to the company already. Employees in the meantime are missing out on pre-tax transportation reimbursement. Must have had 8 phone calls with them and every time I hear another excuse. This company is Total Chaos!

      This company is criminal at best. They owed me a retroactive check for around $400 and they have been giving me the run around for 3 months now. I call every week and every manager or customer service rep tells me I have completed my paperwork properly and the people who close my account keep doing it incorrectly, which disqualifies me for my refund. This is the most incompetent, unethical company Ive ever witnessed. They dont train their staff properly and its apparent now, that they lie in order to make sure you never get your refund

      Horrible company. Do not use them as a vendor. They distributed a payment but misinterpreted the coverage dates on my claim such that I was unable to file all of my receipts. When contacted about the issue, they voided the distributed payment and then reapplied the money to the INCORRECT coverage dates and denied further claims. This issue was solely caused by their error; however, they refuse to fix it and are refusing to process my claims.They have also changed my submitted information on the back end such that claims that they had previously approved were not paid. No information was given about this change.They refuse to send you follow up information about a claim or inform you of their inaction or any resolution. Even when customer service agents have told me I will receive a follow up if there are any issues, I have wasted several hours and months calling them to find out more information about my claim, and I have never received follow up information once.

      Absolutely useless. Their website is unusable. Their customer service is untrained to answer the most basic questions. I've been begging my company to switch forever, I think they finally are.

      When Health Equity acquired *********** they sent me $1 to close out my account. However, I had several hundred dollars in the account at that time. I have been trying to get them to refund my money for a year. When I spoke to them directly they said I had to go through ********** and so I did. They have jacked around or ignored ********** for a year on this matter. I'm still waiting for them to respond. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

      Worst company ever. I have lost 1-1/2 months of commuter benefits because for some reason my autorenewal got canceled. No one at the company can explain why. The website is terrible and does not give any information on past orders. The company would not let me post date an order after I found out (5 days after the September 10 order date) my autorenewal was cancelled. I had to enter a new order, but it would not be paid in for 45 days.
