      I am hating Via Benefits and their app confirms it with "make a quick call to verify your account" then told I'm in a 60 minute queue. Why, if I put in my PW plus they text me a code, do I have to wait 60 minutes to further verify?!?When I called to set up my plan (my job uses them bow) I got put in a 20 minute hold, then the person routed me to a 3 hour hold. They have also put me through hoops to get reimbursed for ******** (which is what they are supposed to do).Most recently i'm able to get better price and benefits directly through the health insurance company so now i can fight more for reimbursement. Ugh. They seriously ****.

      This level of ****************************** cannot be accidental. One can almost believe that ViaBenefits total inability to meet the needs of its claimants is somehow intentionalperhaps hoping that if they leave us on hold long enough; stonewall our claims for reimbursement; tell us they have no idea who we are after weve registered in their system, filled out their forms & scheduled appointments with themwe will go away & they will save their actual customers (i.e. the big companies that hire them) tons of ******** employer recently discontinued the retiree healthcare benefits they had promised us for life, & outsourced everything to ViaBenefits. I tried to sign up for a new ******** Advantage Plan with ViaBenefits; I was drawn in by the promise of a $1900/year HRA, which ViaBenefits said I could use to reimburse myself for my ******** Part B premiums. I was somewhat dismayed by the negative reviews of ViaBenefits I saw online. Via Benefits negative ***utation is totally warranted. The literature from them said I had to make a decision by October 15, & then they scheduled my appointment for October 31! They said to ignore the deadline they had given me. They told me to fill out their forms online, then we would have a Zoom meeting October 31. I painstakingly filled out every form to list every doctor, every prescription& waited for them to send me the Zoom link. Then they said it would be a phone call. So I called the number at the appointed time, entered the requested information& was told they had no idea who I was. I waited on hold for 34 minutes. Finally a *** came on; when I said I was calling to sign up for a plan, said shed have to transfer me to someone else. I then waited on hold for another 30 minutes.I gave up. I could really use the $1900/yearwho couldnt? Thats a lot of money. Multiply that $1900/year by the number of people theyve screwed, & perhaps my theory of intent rather than incompetence starts to look pretty accurate.

      Forced to use Via Benefits by former company/union. Tried to get an Indemnity Coverage for the "donut hole" aka lack of coverage by ******** Advantage increased rates. Set an appointment time to call and speak to a representative. We were left on hold and gave up after 20 minutes. Thumbs down Via Benefits!

      Terrible response to your concern, can not do simple math, can only reimburse you what your insurance Company thinks you should owe, not how much you actually paid, even though you submit a reciept for the amount that you actually paid. Not interested in a copy of your check from your Bank.

      Horrible service for reimbursement. I have a lot of money in my account and never requested out-of-pocket reimbursement until a couple months ago when I had some unexpected dental work done. I have been denied for most of my request although I fully complied with suppling supporting documentation. Denial, denial, denial! Also, reimbursement of my monthly insurance premiums used to only take about a week to 10 days to be paid but for the past few months I don't see the funds in my checking account for about 3 weeks. That's just not right.

      This is the absolute worst company for the administration of benefits. They have no competent customer service to address errors on their part. If your HR department talks about choosing them to administer benefits PLEASE encourage them to look elsewhere

      Horrible company. PURPOSEFULLY withholds payments due to customers of payments. **** needs to be investigated by ****************************** and local and state AG's. No matter what customers do to get reimbursed for medical expenses, it takes far too long, or doesn't happen at all.

      This company is impossible to communicate with as a client. They do not make good on promises made to fix a problem, you cannot call or email an expert directly, and they do not call back. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

      Prepare to be stonewalled on every single claim reimbursement. This company manages HSA/HRA accounts for GE Retirees and getting them to reimburse anything for my 94 yo father has been extremely challenging. My father and I are both engineers, both have career experience with employee benefit programs, and I have never encountered this type of stonewalling. It began when I took POA/Health Care Proxy duty for my dad and discovered a $2000 HRA balance. I thought the easiest reimbursement would be for ************* shower installation, prescribed by his Veterans of Administration doctor for both his failing mobility and eyesight. He spent more than the balance, and 3 months later is now using a ****** and wheelchair. When that was denied, I began submitting every copay I could find including treatment for his macular degeneration. They were all denied. It is very unclear how this company judges medical claims, it is clear they are reluctant to issue any reimbursements.

      Impossible to navigate, file a request complaint. I had no idea I was required to utilize VIA as my broker to arrange insurance. When I switched plans 7 years ago, I had no problem doing this on my own. I received a cold call after searching for alternative plans and allowed the broker to arrange the switch. Then I learned I was ineligible and was given no help rectifying the situation even though my previous coverage was still in force. I feel as if my benefits, earned after ************************************************************ Awful awful company, as indicated by the average review. I've never seen such a low average
