    I'm getting text messages about an account balance from an apartment complex that I've never stayed at nor ever heard of.

    I get calls to verify my account number and a name that is not me.

    No letter, email, text message etc. With any information regarding me or the origin of the debt was ever sent to me.
    I will not give them any of my information as I believe they are scammed.

    The link they send to me instantly moves me to an account that has a balance that requires no verification whatsoever. This is extremely concerning.

    No reports have been filed to my credit and I checked just today.
